Anyone due February? I know it’s super early but I’ve had my BFP at what I think is 8DPO so it looks like I’ll be due the first few days of February!

Hello everyone and congratulations! I am in two minds about commenting here. I have had a chemical pregnancy before (if I had not have tested I would have thought my period was late). But today, again, perhaps stupidly, I tested and it's positive and I have compared against the chemical photo and this is definitely a positive not a faint line like then.
I had actually convinced myself I was in perimenopause (I am in my mid forties), my cycles have been erratic since my chemical positive. So I guess we both relaxed a bit. The stats for successful pregnancy at my age are depressingly bad. So again I am in two minds- maybe I shouldn't jinx myself. But at this stage I am feeling very pregnant- symptoms I was trying to convince myself were all in my head. So I am tentatively here and hoping to stay. I will be due on 7/2 but have carried 5 day late with my previous successful pregnancies.

Hi! My period was due yesterday and I tested on the 23rd, 26th and this morning and have gotten stronger but still early days.

Does anyone want to make a private Facebook "February 2023 baby bus" for sharing the journey? I joined one for my son 5 years ago and we still talk all the time now on it, it's great

Hi. This sounds like a good idea re: the FB group, I’d join 😊

nestinginnl · 29/05/2022 06:41

@YoureAMeanOneMrGrinch sounds like a great idea, we had an August 2021 Facebook group that's still very active

YoureAMeanOneMrGrinch · 29/05/2022 07:14

@WednesdayStar4 @nestinginnl I'll set one up! If you message me I'll send you a link to it x

Cherrymarket · 29/05/2022 08:15

@YoureAMeanOneMrGrinch Would I be able to join as well please?
I got this dye stealer this morning so it’s starting to feel real now πŸ™ˆβ€οΈ

Hi everyone!
I'm 13dpo, period was due today and got my strong positive! Absolutely shocked as we're supposed to be infertile πŸ˜… our due date will be February 3rd.
Congratulations everyone!

What a shock!!!
congratulations x

Hi All, can I tentively join? Found out yesterday, period was 1 day late. We've been trying for 2.5 years, never had a late period or sniff of a positive. We have an appointment to discuss IVF in July so I am in absolute shock.
Super nervous it might not work out but happy to know I've finally got pregnant after months & months of heart break.

Another shocker, what a good month for surprises ❀️❀️

roarfeckingroarr · 29/05/2022 10:32

I would like to join the group please!

BeeYellowMumma · 29/05/2022 10:41

This just came back today and gives me a due date of 9th Feb officially, but know I'd be getting a planned earlier C section so not sure of Jan or Feb until that gets discussed.

This is number 2 for us, and very muched wanted baby, but I have severe tokophopia due to complications at birth with number 1 and I am a bit of a mess to be honest seeing this result.

I'm scared to join here - it feels like I'm jinxing it! Two mmcs in the last year and decided we were finally ready to start trying again this month. Period not due until Tuesday but my boobs felt a bit weird this week so I tested on Friday and got a faint positive. Tested again today and it's definitely darker. Not even told DP yet - I'll wait until I've officially missed my period. Part of me is so incredibly excited and happy and the other half is already panicking and ruching to check I'm not bleeding already. But until told otherwise, I guess I'm pregnant and due 7th Feb with our second baby πŸ₯³

Tentative congrats! Sorry to hear about your previous miscarriages. I can relate to the worry and anxiety - my last pregnancy was ectopic and I’m currently 4+6 and was told at 4 weeks that this pregnancy was also suspected to be ectopic. Had lots of appointments last week and it now seems it probably isn’t ectopic but I won’t know for certain until a scan on 6 weeks.

I don’t know about you but I find I have flashes of being happy and excited and then I panic and think I shouldn’t get carried away. Even writing this message saying it might not be ectopic makes me feel like I’m jinxing things!

How do you think your OH will react? Really hope things work out for you x

YoureAMeanOneMrGrinch · 29/05/2022 16:04

I'm trying not to get too excited (it's hard not to). I fell pregnant in August 2020 but it wasn't the right time so did chose to terminate but I started bleeding before my appointment - it was a long week or so of going back and forth to the hospital with the bleeding, no one giving me a straight answer, so I essentially miscarried and then was made to finish the termination course as well (as the pregnancy was ongoing when the lady at the clinic did my scan even though she agreed the hcg hadn't increased as it was supposed to), so it was very traumatic.

I've had some mild cramping every day, but I had agonising labour pain cramps for the first two weeks of my first pregnancy with my son so I'm hoping it's my body just doing it's thing

A very tentative congrats to you too and I'm so sorry for your previous loss - it totally taints everything doesn't it! Keeping absolutely everything cross for better news for you this time round.

I have total swings between excitement and despair and yes every time I get excited I give myself into trouble for getting carried away! My DH will be chuffed but also very cautious - the last MMC took a lot out of us both.

Peonies94 · 29/05/2022 21:08

@roarfeckingroarr yes I’ve booked my scan! I booked a private one for the 23rd of June! In the place near me they only do them from 8 weeks, so I’ll be 8 weeks then! Seems like I have to wait forever though!

whst sbout you? Have you booked?

ues I totally understand where your coming from and wanting the two dc with the same person! Did you just decide to have another together even though you weren’t together? I thought from your first message you’d met someone else, but think I misunderstood! Best of luck to you, you have plenty of time to find love once your dc grow up a little ☺️!

this is my first and I’m so excited, but so much more nervous than anything right now! Such mixed emotions!

Congratulations to everyone else who’s had positives too! I found out so early that I can’t believe I’ve known for a week and a half and I’m only 4 weeks + 4! Times going to drag soooo much!

Thanks Peonies94

Anyone else have/got really painful lower back? I remember with my DD1 I got such a bad back in the very early stages before realising I was pregnant I was in hospital receiving morphine, now wondering if this was an early pregnancy sign back then and not just coincidental. But now I have a 3 yo to contend with for the day whilst managing it badly as I now know I am pregnant πŸ™ƒ

Pumasonsatsumas · 30/05/2022 07:21

I can't figure out the private messaging thing. Could someone please send me the link for the FB group? Thank you!

Peonies94 · 30/05/2022 08:36

@BeeYellowMumma i had A slightly painful back last week when I first found out, nothing to what you’ve got though! hope it doesn’t get too bad for you!
I’ve been having really bad stomach cramps first thing in the morning, slight nausea but nothing too bad, but the cramps are awful! They tend to pass within an hour!

I'm finding I get cramps at night and first thing as well as sharp tugging if I twist awkwardly. Hopefully will settle soon
