Anyone else due January 2023?! Found out yesterday I'm pregnant with baby #2. If my dates are right, I'm 3+6, due 27th January! My daughters a Jan baby, but was due feb (she was 3 weeks early). May just must be a very fertile month for us! We fell pregnant last May too, but never met them😢.

How is everyone?

Some lovely scan pics! ❤️

I'm 11 weeks today and could not feel worse.
I was really good over the weekend and I thought things were starting to ease a bit but yesterday and today especially, I feel so so sick! I got up for work but have been asleep for 2 hours and I went to bed really early. The fatigue and nausea are next level.... anyone else feeling the same?

I can't win really because I was worrying at the weekend that something was wrong cos I wasn't too bad but now I'd do anything to feel better and be able to get on with work (luckily I'm at home but I still need to get stuff done) x

Laurzz · 05/07/2022 12:57

@Pickle0901 that seems to have gone so fast, 11 weeks already.

Sorry to hear your not feeling great. I was feeling the same and my symptoms started to come and go from 9 weeks. I'm now 13 weeks and still have some sickness when i first roll out of bed but fine for the rest of the day. I was prescribed a course of Cyclizine from the GP and now come off it. I hope those horrible symptoms should start to go from 14-16 weeks.

Hang on in there!

I'm usually house proud and spend the whole Saturday morning cleaning top to bottom. Since being pregnant all that pride has gone out the window and i've not done my Saturday cleaning for weeks now😂.

CJones11 · 05/07/2022 16:51

Has everyone told work they are expecting?

Has everyone told work they are expecting?

I told my boss yesterday and then my colleagues, haven't told any stakeholders yet. I'm planning to take 14 months off so I figured the least I can do is give him as much time as possible to sort out maternity cover!

LA9610 · 05/07/2022 18:43

@Pickle0901 was feeling good up until tea time and then suddenly feel extremely bloated and full, was a struggle to eat my dinner. How are you feeling?

@Laurzz I am totally with you on that, i'm extremely house-proud and a clean freak and i've just not been bothered with housework or washing, or cooking lol 😅

Laurzz · 05/07/2022 19:14

@CJones11 not yet. I have a really good relationship with my colleague who shares my work load so I told her 'unofficially' other than that I haven't told anyone. I might in the next few weeks though.

@LA9610 glad I'm not the only one 😂 .

@Laurzz I totally understand... I'm usually pretty ocd but at the moment I stare at things and wish I could click my fingers like Mary Poppins 😂

Yes let's hope we all feel better in a few weeks!

Pickle0901 · 05/07/2022 20:08

@LA9610 I'm the other way round, I actually perked up by tea time and managed to eat two fajitas and not feel sick. I'm just knackered now and will be straight to bed after love island.
Hope you feel better after a good nights sleep.

I can't decide if I'm starting to show or if I'm just putting loads of bloat and weight on with the lack of exercise and increase in carbs etc!

TokenGinger · 05/07/2022 21:43

@Pickle0901 I had similar timings with my sickness going, and thinking I felt brighter, then it hit me again. I feel quite lucky in that I haven't been excessively sick, it's just the feeling of nausea that hits every so often then I puke, but it's not every day.

@CJones11 I've told quite a few people at work now, as my genetic testing appointments required me to take a few mornings/afternoons out of work at short notice and I felt bad not explaining to people why. My boss has been really supportive and HR have got my risk assessment booked in for Thursday.

It feels really nice having this thread to check in with everybody who's at a similar gestation to each other. I tried to get to grips with Peanut but it looks like I need to pay to see who has waved at me 😂

TokenGinger · 07/07/2022 19:29

Hey ladies, how are you all getting on?

I had my official 12 week scan today and she's doing great. She's measuring at 12+3 so my due date remains the same, 16th Jan.

It was such a relief to see her on screen. It's so strange, she was really bouncing around loads, and obviously I can't feel a thing. It's crazy how there can be something so jiggly inside of you and you can't yet feel it.

TokenGinger · 07/07/2022 19:30

I meant to ask, are any second time mums showing earlier this time? I didn't start to show until around 18-19 weeks with DS and even then it was tiny, but my jeans are definitely getting together much earlier than they did last time.

TTC24 · 07/07/2022 20:34

Hi ladies. I hope you're all ok and pregnancies are going amazing!

I haven't been active; because I had a miscarriage early June :(. Butttt, some light at the end of the tunnel, I'm pregnant again! Due March! This pregnancy is a complete surprise, we're so happy. Enjoy your journey ladies, I'm not far behind💛

Aw congratulations! I'm so sorry to hear about your loss but I hope everything goes smoothly for your rainbow baby ❤️

LA9610 · 08/07/2022 08:01

@Pickle0901 I'm the same, I've gone from my stomach being completely flat last week to being horrendously bloated 24-7 this week and not sure if it's just bloat or if that's also me showing now. I've got a wedding next weekend so was hoping it would hold off until after that or I might be bursting out of my dress 😂 I've defo been eating more in the past week because my nausea has finally gone and ive not worked out for ages so I just feel huge all over atm. Struggling a little bit when I look at my body. I'm not overweight to begin with but already sit at the top end of 'normal' so I will definitely be overweight by the end of this.

@TTC24 really sorry to hear that but how wonderful for it to happen again so soon. Got my fingers crossed that this will be your time.

In other news I got my date through for 20 week scan in August now and my 16 week midwife appointment is in a couple of weeks.

Pickle0901 · 08/07/2022 08:20

Morning all,
Glad everyone is doing well and @TTC24 here's to a healthy new start and really sorry to hear about your MC, they are painful and stay with you.
Weirdly my 12week scan next week is on the same day as my old due date from a MC on New Year's Day, so it's spun a positive to that date which I'm pleased about. It's also my father in laws birthday, so still feels like there's an excitement for them too.

I went for another reassurance scan on Wednesday, it was a great experience and they gave us prints and whatsapped us a load of videos and stills... it was so great to see the development and all the dancing going on inside. @TokenGinger I know what you mean... I just looked and said, no wonder I feel so sick when there's a party going on inside me.

I have a hen do next weekend (after my official 12wk scan... so at least I can tell them and not have to keep hiding drinking. I also then have a lot on in august but again, it won't be a secret so will be better... feel so heavy... has anyone found any good pregnancy exercise videos??

I used to always use my activity app with my watch but I haven't done anything since being pregnant. I'd just signed up to a 10k run before we found out and felt quite fit but there is no way I could do it now!! So funny the dramatic change that takes place... but delighted to see how far we've come!

I had something else to ask but baby brain is officially real... so have a great day ladies and speak soonxx

PoppyHenry · 08/07/2022 12:17

Hi
Please can I join I am also due 14th Jan 2023 this will be baby number 3. I’m really anxious we lost our son August 2022 at 21 weeks xx

Laurzz · 08/07/2022 14:21

@TTC24 sorry to hear that. Congratulations 🌈 . I hope this one sticks 🤞.

@PoppyHenry Congratulations on baby number 3. That must have been so difficult for you but there is always a rainbow after a strom 🌈.

@bedfordmum22 lovely scan photo. How have you been keeping?

@Pickle0901 sounds very positive. I look at the scan photos every day. I walk the dog but that's about as far as my exercise stretches 😂. Today I've got a burst of energy so hopefully that's me overcoming the tiredness.

PoppyHenry · 08/07/2022 15:31

@Laurzz thank you x

lilroo87 · 14/07/2022 14:06

Had my scan yesterday and been moved by 1 day backwards so baby due 28th January.
How are you all feeling?

Baby January 2023!
Laurzz · 14/07/2022 15:02

@lilroo87 Amazing. Lovely scan photo too 😬.

I've been ok apart from this heat and morning sickness making a return. It still hasn't sunk in for me that I'm pregnant 😂. How have you been?

LA9610 · 14/07/2022 15:12

@lilroo87 great scan picture!
I'm feeling good tbh, still absolutely knackered come the afternoon and feel like i could sleep anywhere but my sickness has been gone a couple of weeks now 🤞 how are you doing?

We started looking at prams yesterday, omg what a minefield 😐 we think we will have our next fairly soon afterwards because it took us 18 months to conceive this time and both in our 30s so don't want to wait too long so I'm thinking about one that will suit a baby and a toddler. Has anyone else been looking? We've not bought anything so far but only 15 weeks so plenty of time!

lilroo87 · 14/07/2022 17:48

@Laurzz oh, I know. The heat is awful. Mine hasn't sunk in until I saw baby on the scan. This is my 2nd and I wasn't expecting to fall pregnant so soon. My first is 11.5 months so quite a close age gap.

@LA9610 I have the afternoon tiredness aswell and I wish I could nap but my little girl has other plans 🤣
We bought a Bugaboo Buffalo second hand with our first and I wish we'd gone straight for a double buggy.
Absolutely love it aswell so now need to find something just as good

Kerryw93 · 17/07/2022 23:08

Hey everyone.

How are you all feeling? Has anyone's morning sickness gone?! I feel fantastic, so much more energy, no sickness at all for roughly 2-3 weeks. I feel so normal its unreal!
I have my 12 weeks scan tomorrow but I will be 12+2 , really hoping baby is okay!
