@VgerEdney I'm so sorry you've got Covid! I hope you're starting to feel a little better ❤️
@LA9610 It sounds like we're experiencing similar symptoms so maybe it's just part and parcel of this journey. I'm having the rush for the loo symptoms, too! For Christmas, we're going to take it easy and have the dinner at our house and my mum, granddad and brother will come to join us. My little brother is going to help cook the meats so I have the easier job of just sorting the potatoes and veg. If by any chance I go into labour very early, then they can let themselves into my house (one of them would have to be here for DS anyway) and help themselves to food 😂 What are your plans for the day?
@H44123 OMG, picking up the pram etc makes it feel all the more real! I had our pram in for steam cleaning last week so I've had that back now so it's ready for her to arrive. You've just made me realise I haven't packed a dummy yet, nor have I got a steriliser so I need to do an Amazon job for that, I think! Although DS didn't take a dummy and I didn't take one to hospital for him so I'm not sure if I need to or not. I didn't take any towels for DS, or myself actually last time! I forgot one for me but looking at his photos, he was wrapped in a hospital towel when he arrived.
@PoppyHenry Oh wow!! Congratulations on the safe arrival of your baby boy! I hope he's thriving and that you're doing okay, too xx
I got my bag mostly packed yesterday so that feels like a huge weight off my mind. Last time, I took a cabin-sized case for DS, and an overnight bag for me but then when people brought me extra things, I ended up with a carrier bag too and it ended up a pain to take everything down to the car along with DS when leaving, so this time I've opted for just one medium-sized suitcase so it only takes one hand to wheel down. I've used packing cubes that we usually use for holiday. In my cube, I've managed to fit in two pairs of pyjamas, a night dress, two leggings, three t-shirts, four bras, six pairs of knickers and three pairs of socks and there's still space in there. Baby's is smaller, but have got six babygrows, five vests, two pairs of socks, five muslin cloths and a knitted cardigan in hers. Then another for my toiletries. Then the case is almost full from my towel, a pack of nappies, box of milk if we need it, cotton wool, wipes, maternity pads. It's amazing how much space they take up! Still a few things to add in but I feel better knowing if I had to leave in the next 10 minutes, we'd make do with what we have in there x
