Hello all
I am due probably beg. of January '23. I am 45 years od and I tested positive on the 28th of April and I am four week pregnant. This is my second pregnancy and it is considered a high risk pregnancy due to the age.
My first pregnancy (back when I was 36) I terminated at the end of the first trimester. I do regret it and I hope and wish everyday for everything to go well with this one.🙏
I too had cramps during implantation. Cramps have gone away now, but I get exhausted so quickly, I am thirsty all the time and indeed I go to the toilet more frequently than before
I was wondering, have you read the studies that if you do not have nausea, then most likely you will have a boy? During my first pregnancy, I did not have nausea at all. It would be lovely if it is was a girl, but more than anything, I will be grateful whatever the gender and I can't wait for that little voice that one day will call me mummy. ❤
I also find myself google'ing everything before I eat it. decaf. coffee, lemonade, sparking water. I am still not sure if I should be having decaf. coffee due to its processing (as I appreciate that coffee wise, it has no cofee anymore).
As this is my first proper pregnancy (and hopefully it will all go well), it will be lovely sharing our day to day thoughts, resourcing material we find etc in this thread.
Today I realised that I fit in only one pair of jeans I have (most of my trousers are either slim/skinny or fit). Although I have not gained weight (as it is far too early anyway), I think my stomach is more bloated than normal. I managed to handle the constipation by taking Movicol every morning (as costipation was a big issue for me during the first pregnancy), but still I get more bloated than pre-pregnancy. So I spent most of this morning looking on the internet what I could possible buy to wear. What would you think about buying a maternity pair of jeans, at the end of the day, it is meant to be more flexible for the pregnancy, so it should work even now?
