I know this is very early but I wanted to start a thread for those with a January 2023 due date.

I got my BFP 2 days ago and am about 4 weeks pregnant today. I already have a little boy born in November 2020 and I’m super excited for him to get a sibling but I know it’s early days and have had 2 early miscarriages in the past so slightly nervous too!

@Pregnantandvworried that's wonderful news 🥰

We're going to our neighbours for a BBQ this afternoon and it will be very out of sorts for me to not be drinking!

LouiseD2018 · 02/05/2022 14:26

Great news @Pregnantandvworried 😊 do you feel a bit more at ease for now?

My symptoms seem to be very changeable, less nausea the past few days that could be the vitamins with added ginger helping, same boob pains, still tired but my libido has shot up, that didn't happen until much later on with Dd, so that took me by surprise 😅. I'm guessing things will change week by week wont they. Still praying for a strong healthy baby hopefully growing safely in the right place DH has nicknamed them Elvis, he promised its a pregnancy only nickname 😅🤞❤🌈

Brilliant - so pleased you’ve got some piece of mind about it now x

Hello all

I am due probably beg. of January '23. I am 45 years od and I tested positive on the 28th of April and I am four week pregnant. This is my second pregnancy and it is considered a high risk pregnancy due to the age.

My first pregnancy (back when I was 36) I terminated at the end of the first trimester. I do regret it and I hope and wish everyday for everything to go well with this one.🙏

I too had cramps during implantation. Cramps have gone away now, but I get exhausted so quickly, I am thirsty all the time and indeed I go to the toilet more frequently than before

I was wondering, have you read the studies that if you do not have nausea, then most likely you will have a boy? During my first pregnancy, I did not have nausea at all. It would be lovely if it is was a girl, but more than anything, I will be grateful whatever the gender and I can't wait for that little voice that one day will call me mummy. ❤

I also find myself google'ing everything before I eat it. decaf. coffee, lemonade, sparking water. I am still not sure if I should be having decaf. coffee due to its processing (as I appreciate that coffee wise, it has no cofee anymore).

As this is my first proper pregnancy (and hopefully it will all go well), it will be lovely sharing our day to day thoughts, resourcing material we find etc in this thread.

Today I realised that I fit in only one pair of jeans I have (most of my trousers are either slim/skinny or fit). Although I have not gained weight (as it is far too early anyway), I think my stomach is more bloated than normal. I managed to handle the constipation by taking Movicol every morning (as costipation was a big issue for me during the first pregnancy), but still I get more bloated than pre-pregnancy. So I spent most of this morning looking on the internet what I could possible buy to wear. What would you think about buying a maternity pair of jeans, at the end of the day, it is meant to be more flexible for the pregnancy, so it should work even now?

So anxious this morning, so took a clear blue digital just now on afternoon pee and we have a 2-3 😍 excuse the bin bags of clothes waiting to go into the loft 🤣

Due January 2023 ❤️

Hello everyone,

just found out I’m pregnant with number 2 (I have a daughter who’ll be 2 in July). I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow and think I’ll be due on 4th January. I’m hoping the next few weeks go quickly, I hate this early stage where it just feels like you’re waiting forever. I’ll probably book my first midwife appointment for 6 weeks and an early private scan for 7/8 weeks. Best of luck to everyone! ❤️

LC84 · 02/05/2022 19:05

Joining here as technucally due end of dec I think but... imagine it will end up being January 🤣🙈

Annelyra18 · 02/05/2022 20:53

Hi everyone :) just found this thread. All being well, I’m due at the beginning of Jan 2023. I’ve had some heavy bleeding but my (quite low) HCG levels are still increasing rapidly so I’m holding out hope. I had the bleeding around the time my period was due so not sure what that was all about. If anyone has had a similar experience I’d love to hear about it.

LouiseD2018 · 03/05/2022 09:06

@Annelyra18 hi, Congratulations on your positive test, I hope it's a healthy safe pregnancy ❤

It really could go either way, my best friend bled for the first few months of her pregnancy so didn't find out until she was 3 months gone, for me I had a bleed when my period was due but tested positive 1-2 weeks later, it turned out to be ectopic. I had 2 ectopics, one had slow hormone growth, the other had normal hormone levels. On the whole though doubling HCG levels is a good sign, you might have also conceived later in your cycle which might have been too late to stop your period.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞 are they planning an early scan?

Moosh18 · 03/05/2022 09:18

Hey ladies, has anyone experienced anything similar? I have had the tiniest bit of pink cm mixed in with cm this morn, only a really small amount could of missed it, but now I'm freaking out I'm going to Mc again :( I'm 5 weeks in a couple of days x

Janey3090 · 03/05/2022 09:49

Hi all, I'm a little confused as to whether I'm classed as 4 or 5 weeks? My last period started 28th March, but I didn't ovulate until 17th April as I have longer cycles. If I'm going by my period it makes me 5 weeks 2 days, but if I go by ovulation it's 4 weeks 2 days?

To make things even more confusing, I did a clearblue test on Saturday with FMU (when I was only 13DPO) and got 2-3 weeks, surely that should have shown as 1-2 weeks as less than 2 weeks since I ovulated?

Can anyone offer advice please? 😊xx

If you go by when you ovulated that's more accurate :) my clear blue digi went to 2-3 yesterday afternoon at 14dpo, it just means you're 4-5 weeks pregnant which is correct xx

Moosh18 · 03/05/2022 12:51

@mrsgtobe97 hey, nothing since, it was literally the tiniest bit, my husband and i DTD yest for first time since finding out so I'm really hoping it was that! I did a digital this morning and it had progressed to 2-3 which is right so I'm praying pregnancy is progressing x

Janey3090 · 03/05/2022 12:57

@mrsgtobe97 thanks so much, that's super helpful. This is my first pregnancy so all completely new to me!

That makes my due date roughly the 8th January - eek! 😊xx

Sunshine415 · 03/05/2022 14:16

Congratulations everyone 😊
can I join? Just got my bfp last night, dd 10/1/23... I can’t quite believe it yet and nervous, it’s been 4 1/2 years since my second baby

Sunshine415 · 03/05/2022 14:18

@Moosh18 hope you’re all okay. I had a lot of spotting in the first trimester with my first, all was fine but it did worry me.

Moosh18 · 03/05/2022 14:22

@Sunshine415 thanks so much! Hoping it's a one off! It's terrifying x

hopingfor23 · 03/05/2022 19:25

@Moosh18 hope you're ok! I'm petrified to DTD for now 🙈 think hubby is scared it will be a 9 month ban 🤣

I have more intense cramps today. Im trying not to worry as this is the day I'd be due on and I've read it's fairly normal plus I got a dye stealer on a frer today so need to stay positive! I have my app with our consultant tomorrow and will get results for a fair few tests checking if any reasons for previous mc's so hopefully he will be able to prescribe me something if there is anything that's contributed x

Sassy144 · 03/05/2022 19:29

I've got fairly strong cramps today as well as feeling achey all over, had a busy day at work so hoping it's just from overdoing it

Moosh18 · 03/05/2022 19:41

@hopingfor23 I have really bad backache still, cramps have eased! No more pink cm either so hopefully that's gone!!

Swale · 03/05/2022 20:37

Congratulations to those who have recently joined!

Got my dye stealer last night too. Still no symptoms for me yet.. last time I had sore boobs by now but this time I don’t feel like I’m pregnant yet!

Think I'll get a dye stealer tomorrow - today's was nearly there and I have one more FRER which of course I have to use 🤣

I've got low level on off cramps this evening, really hoping it's just stretching and whatnot.
