I know this is very early but I wanted to start a thread for those with a January 2023 due date.

I got my BFP 2 days ago and am about 4 weeks pregnant today. I already have a little boy born in November 2020 and I’m super excited for him to get a sibling but I know it’s early days and have had 2 early miscarriages in the past so slightly nervous too!

How is everyone doing??
I'm currently 7+5 and I've got my reassurance scan booked for tomorrow 😩 I'm so anxious as last time I had one of these scans there was confirmed nothing in my uterus and it was to confirm a miscarriage so I'm very worried that there will be no heartbeat or baby in unknown location, I just have a lot of anxiety does anyone have any reassurance?? Thanks 😊

LemonZestDribbles · 18/05/2022 10:26

I'm sure all your works will be fine - although I'm sure it will be scary telling them 🙈 I was freelance with ds so it was easy and I've not went back to work. Although that means no maternity 😩

Welcome @freckles503 and @Poppyjen congratulations!!

@JenniferR2021 boaking!!! Aha 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 not so great on the actual feeling sick though.

Anyone feeling okay in morning but rubbish in afternoon?

Serra2022 · 18/05/2022 10:45

Hi everyone, please can I join? I'm 4+6 weeks today and EDD 19th Jan according to NHS calc although if all goes well I will go for an elective csection probably at 39 weeks as had an EMCS with my first DS and surgery to remove an overt and a tube before that. Had my dye stealer two days ago and will do a clear blue hopefully get my 3+ soon! Lots of funny twinge pains, hopefully just my scar tissue stretching. Just today had headaches and feeling a bit nauseous, didn't get this with my first really so wondering if it could be a girl this time. Booked a private scan at 8 weeks hopefully for some peace of mind, feels a long way off yet. Not booked in with midwife will try and self refer in next week. Very excited, but I'm 38 so I know the risks are higher, trying to not get too carried away!

Dearest all

I am afraid yesterday we couldn't see anything at the pregnancy scan. Not even a sac. Which is quite bizzare as I had embryo transfer with donnor eggs (so there was no hCG in my system prior to that) and I got multiple positive pregnancy tests on Day 9. They took blood tests and confirmed that my hCG was very low so probably a chemical pregnancy but still, if it was a chemical pregnancy wouldn't we be seeing the sac?

Need to figure out what tests we could possibly do as I have two good embryos left and I don't want to jump straight into a new cycle if we can not figure out what might have gone wrong as it simply does not make sense that a sac was not even created.

Thank you for your support and I wish all the other ladies on the forum thread, a very succeful pregnancy. I loved being pregnant and I hope I will get the opportunity to become a mother. I just sometimes feel bad for the child as I am already 45, and I am worried about the time difference.

xxx

@NV42 I'm so sorry 💔 take all the time you need. Be well xx

Somatronic · 18/05/2022 11:55

@NV42 I'm so sorry. I was really hoping it would be good news when you last posted about the negative test. I really hope that it works out for you again with the remaining 2 embryos. I conceived via IVF too so I can sympathize with how much you must have already gone through to get to this point, only to have it taken away again. It's so cruel. I hope that you have support and that you can take some time to rest and look after yourself. Sending love xx

brogan12 · 18/05/2022 11:58

@NV42 I'm so so sorry! Sending big hugs. I know nothing we say will make it any better but just know we are thinking of you❤️‍🩹

alxshagordon · 18/05/2022 12:28

Hi guys im wondering if anyones in the same position as me...

My last period was 2nd april.
I only dtd once on 23rd april. 4th may i had a very faint positive and from then on got darker.
Ive had several scans at the early pregnancy unit due to previous miscarriages and some period like cramping and spotting.

Yesterday i had a scan that revealed a gestational sac but no yolk etc. Dr not concerned, believes im 4weeks 4days.

This morning a passed more blood... looks like old watery brown discharge a bit like when you finish your period. BUT this time there was a clot the size of a lentil... im not in any pain, only having brown discharge when i wipe nothing is filling up a pad (never did)

SweetPeaPods · 18/05/2022 12:53

@NV42 sorry to hear. Look after yourself.

Hana89 · 18/05/2022 13:34

@alxshagordon I'm sorry to hear you're having such a difficult time. Do you have an Early Pregnancy Unit at your local hospital? Or an emergency maternity number you can call? It might be best to get this latest bleed on record and they may book you in for another scan. Xx

I contacted them to let them know but they didnt seem too worried. The idea of a clot just scares the life out of me though. I miscarried in December:(
