@Mommabear20 we have everything too just need some new mattresses, a prep machine, new bottles and some newborn bits! I'm sure more stuff will pop up on the way 😆😆 I'm glad we've decided to have them quite close so nothing was in storage. DS has just gone into a 25kg seat so baba will be having the infant carrier. Just hope he's good at walking etc because I don't really want to buy a double travel system as they are £££££. Hoping to get away with carrycot/sling/pram/buggy board etc

Sorry I've been quiet we were in salou for a week and it was so good to be away but DD was a nightmare so not sure we'll go away again until she's about 4 🙈

I've bought nothing baby related as DD is only 14 months and I'm a nutter that has kept EVERYTHING 🙈 although I am on the hunt for a second hand buggy but want a specific one luckily I've got a while to wait

DD still has half of last years Christmas presents wrapped in her room so they'll likely be rewrapped for this year 😂

Aww @stuntbubbles that sounds brutal! We moved when I was 5 months pregnant and I wish we'd got movers/packers! We did get a cheap decorator in the day after we got the keys to do the bedrooms and living room before we officially moved in and that was the best! It always seems strange that some countries it takes so long to move, in Scotland its normal to complete 4-8 weeks after the offer has been accepted

@DogsAndGin agree with what you said to Mommabear20! We don't want loads of stuff either but we want to be sensitive as its the first grandchild for one side of our family. How are you planning to tackle those conversations with other people?

Gosh wish I could say I have everything already so it took the stress out of it all but my daughter turned 12 at the weekend and this is my 2nd baby so starting out new all over again! Having a scan Friday and all being well with that I may just start buying now then as I'm due 29th December however it's already been discussed I will have a c section and that's been estimated as 9th December so less time than it feels to get everything on top of holiday, school uniform and Christmas 🙈

We are definitely getting movers and packers! But I know from last time we moved with an 8m baby it’s still better to declutter first, as there’s not yet a service for unpacking and organising to my liking.

@RSmamaa where abouts are you? I've got an old double buggy that can also be used as a single. If you're close to me your welcome to it! We have double pushchair now that DS doesn't need the bassinet part, I'm gonna keep baby in a sling until they can sit up as DD is still too young to walk everywhere

We move house a week today. From a 3 bed new build to an older house that needs some work and I'm so tired with pregnancy and covid I can't bear to do anything. I have vacuum packed my summer stuff however I'm not sure I'll ever get into them again 😂

We have most stuff for new baby as my son is only 1. He's a May baby though so I definitely need long sleeved vests, smaller sized snow suit, some special outfits. We are borrowing a double pram and going to borrow a carrier and a bouncer chair that rocks itself. Don't want to be buying any new big stuff with this being our last

Just had my 12 week scan, due date has been moved forward so I’m 12+4 today (nice to skip ahead a few days!!). Baby was being awkward so it took a while to get the measurements needed but she said everything looked fine and we saw a strong heartbeat 💗
Just waiting to collect DS from his after school club now so that we can tell him!

Thank you ladies for the good luck messages earlier. The scan went well - Bean was very wriggly which was lovely to see, and is measuring at one day earlier than expected. Good luck to those of you with upcoming scans xxx

Hello everyone! I’ve been hiding for a bit as didn’t quite believe this was all real, but had a private scan today and there’s definitely a baby in there! Having had a mmc in 2018 at 6+6 I felt super anxious, but maybe now i can breathe a little?
@tasha4eva10 - like you this is also pregnancy after cancer (two years of brutal daily chemo) - and I’ve got the same due date too! Feel extra lucky to be in this position!

@MrsWindrush oh wow amazing! It's crazy isn't it when you feel you can't move on after cancer as you're still in that bubble then something like this turns it all around and you see a future again! I still can't believe it's real, more so because I had to have fertility treatment to have my daughter 12 years ago and haven't had a pregnancy since and then this happens. For both of us very much so our little miracle xx

12 weeks today and got my Harmony results and everything is low risk, I'm so relieved. Have my 12 week scan and booking in tomorrow and then we're going to tell everyone. Still throwing up but the nausea is getting less.

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to mumsnet, having only started reading on it the past few weeks! Who knew some of the threads would be so entertaining:]

I am 9 weeks & 2 days pregnant. My due date is 25th december! This will hopefully be my first baby! I paid for an early scan last week as couldn't bare the long wait until the NHS scan especially after having some worrying cramping early on! Everything was good, and progressing as should be! It's not even been a week since my ultrasound but I want another one, I am fearful I will have a missed miscarriage for some reason! Despite never having a MMC before!

My proper scan isn't until I'm 13 weeks pregnant, I feel like the pregnancy is going so slow! :P

One thing worrying me is I have a lump in my breast that has grown and i didn't realise it had grown until being pregnant. So I have an appointment with the breast clinic tomorrow! I hope it's nothing, and regret not getting it properly checked sooner!
