Never had this happen before- woke up this morning due to the nausea. Usually I get a nice 30 mins to get organised when I wake up before I start feeling grim. But today it was like an alarm clock! Hope others are getting to the other side of the nausea, but for those of us still wading through it- this won't last forever, it will get better!

@Jj19 I have added you as a friend to join the group on Facebook!

stuntbubbles · 21/04/2022 07:07

Hello! Can I join? I’m not yet overdue my period (due tomorrow) but already sick as a dog and getting positive digitalis so I feel, scientifically, this one’s sticking for now. And due New Year’s Eve! Though given the clusterfuck of DD’s birth I think I’ll safely be opting for an early sunroof exit rather than labour again.

She was an Easter baby; feels delightful to have her joined by a Christmas one. DP has expressed he’s “glad not to know any other Christian holidays so I don’t go getting ideas about more”.

I will now lurk to get to know you all, while rocking gently in my corner with a sick bag.

Tofu35 · 21/04/2022 07:18

Welcome @stuntbubbles! Laughing at the "early sunroof exit" description.

Gigi1989 · 21/04/2022 07:20

Welcome!! I feel you, my first was an absolute nightmare and I opted for sunroof exit with my second, this is my third and I’m doing the exact same! Not risking anything! 🤣

Fingers crossed your sickness gets no worse!!

Graceybaby · 21/04/2022 07:35

@Krista1991 This is me, I'm an emotional wreck atm! Doesn't help that I'm not sleeping great, im exhausted! I have a 5 year old also so no time for catch up naps unfortunately :(

Where is everybody from? Anyone else from the South East?

xx

Gigi1989 · 21/04/2022 07:39

@Graceybaby I’m from Dorset 🙋🏼‍♀️

bbno2 · 21/04/2022 07:44

@Graceybaby I’m in Suffolk. 👋

Tyla525 · 21/04/2022 07:46

Hi all, hope you don't mind if I join. Got my positive test last week but still very early days only 4+5, due 24th December. I am currently very anxious as I have had 2 miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy over the past 15 months, just really hoping this one is the one. I currently have no symptoms which makes me both nervous and cautiously optimistic as I didn't have many symptoms throughout my whole pregnancy with my first baby.

@Graceybaby I am in the South East also

RSmamaa · 21/04/2022 07:58

Hello everyone. I've been locked out of mumsnet for days. It wouldn't let me see my threads or post anything so apologies if I missed anything. I haven't got time to catch up but did see @quinnbaby news yesterday so congratulations. Such wonderful news! Also just seen a glimpse of a facebook group? I'm in one for my son from mumsnet and is my lifeline. I chat to the ladies every day. Deffo be up for one with you lovely lot too!

Jj19 · 21/04/2022 08:36

@Tyla525 hi due date friend 👋🏻Also the 24th x

Jj19 · 21/04/2022 08:37

@RSmamaa If you add me on Fb I can send you an invite to the group. It’s completely private :)

@Tofu35 my nausea usually starts as soon as I move in the morning but it has definitely calmed down in the last few days. Although my husband made an omelette for his breakfast this morning 🤢.

Anyone feeling slightly relieved and also worried about their symptoms being begger, I've just been for my NHS scan (second one this week including private) and there was the lovely heartbeat again and I'm measuring as expected (7+4). My symptoms have definitely calmed down, nausea is way better, not as exhausted, boobs still sore but this morning they had calmed down too and have now come back.

Just saying all that for anyone who feels anxious about a change in symptoms!

They couldn't see any reason for the brown spotting so will just assume it's an implantation bleed that took a while to come out. Everything looked healthy 👍❤️

AfterBathingAtBaxters · 21/04/2022 09:22

@lovesT That's great news, I've also just booked my first private scan for week 8. It seems ages away!

@Tyla525 Congratulations!! I'm also 4+5 today and have next to no symptoms. I've had some cramping but no sore boobs, no nausea, no tiredness. I guess everyone is different and I'll try and keep a positive mindset. I'm very sorry to hear about your losses, I can only imagine how tough that must have been!

I hope everyone else is doing well!

Graceybaby · 21/04/2022 09:40

@Tyla525 Yay, it's nice to have a local connection, Im near Eastbourne 💜 I'm also due on the 24th ☺️

Sorry to hear about your miscarriages, I can understand you feeling apprehensive. I really hope this is your sticky baby 🙂

This is baby two for me also, I had zero symptoms with my son like literally nothing and the same this time so try not to worry too much (easier said then done I know).. I've just been abit emotional but think its lack of sleep! xxx

Laughingmole · 21/04/2022 09:51

@bbno2 I’m Suffolk too!

bbno2 · 21/04/2022 09:53

@Laughingmole I am in Woodbridge area 😊

Winnie2022 · 21/04/2022 10:02

Hi Everyone, I am enjoying reading all of our experiences. I haven’t felt as exhausted as I have since this week. I know it may sound odd but I feel a bit on my own at the moment as only my husband knows. I’m also not too sure when I should feel super excited. Could be my hormones. How is everyone else? I’m in Manchester so had to self refer, haven’t heard anything back yet.

Laughingmole · 21/04/2022 10:04

@bbno2 i’m just outside Ipswich, near Needham so not too far!

bbno2 · 21/04/2022 10:11

@Laughingmole oh really not far then!

@Winnie2022 I learned this week that I had to self refer.. it was different last time I did it 5 years ago. Got an automated email saying they’d be in touch before I got to 9 weeks. It doesn’t quite feel real yet for me either to get excited. The 12w scan did it last time for me. I don’t think my poor husband really got it last time either till we saw baby on the monitor and then he went white 😂

Winnie2022 · 21/04/2022 10:13

@bbno2 ahh I hope this happens to us too! It’s just such a weird limbo time x

Tyla525 · 21/04/2022 10:20

@Graceybaby I am West Sussex, near Crawley.

I do really hope this is the one. I hoping to get an early scan through the EPU in a couple of weeks but if not will book a private one.

Anyone else really struggling to concentrate on work at the moment? I am so busy but yet can't seem to focus for more that 10 mins!

KittyKat1989 · 21/04/2022 10:24

@Jj19 thank you for sorting out the Facebook group - I think I have added you now.

Graceybaby · 21/04/2022 10:37

@Tyla525 Nice :)

Fingers crossed you get your early scan, I have a private one booked for the 14th of May at 8 weeks but it seems like ages away!

x

Mommabear20 · 21/04/2022 10:43

Sorry I've not been on for a few days! My app wouldn't let me log in for some reason but apparently today I'm allowed 🤷‍♀️

I've got my booking in appointment on Tuesday, I'll only be 7+3 (I think 🤔) DH still refusing to tell anyone but as my sister will be at work at the doctors on Tuesday, I don't see it staying secret for much longer! I've tried to convince him it would be best to tell people ourselves over the weekend rather than it getting out through her (biggest mouth in England!) but he's firm in his NO! 🤦‍♀️

Pharmacy are still saying my prescription hasn't been sent through yet but the doctors are adamant that it has! 🤷‍♀️ so still feeling incredibly nauseous.
