Oops! We filled up the last one quicker than we could make a new thread! I'll try and tag people so we can all keep chatting here.

I'm not sure what to do about dying my hair. I'm going away next month and it needs doing desperately but from reading other forums, views on such are mixed. Lots of ladies have said they dyed their hair still with no problems. Have any of you dyed yours? Obviously it's only for vanity and won't take risks unnecessarily but would definitely like to if I could!

The first question I asked my midwife when I was pregnant with my eldest was whether I could dye my hair and she said it was fine! I've dyed my hair through all of my pregnancies, it's pink now and was all through my last pregnancy too

I just had mind done last week. I had a reaction towards the end of my pregnancy with DS after already having it done a couple of times so I’d probably patch test every time if you don’t already.

@embob993 glad it's not just me, it is very unnerving!! I have all symptoms apart from nausea at the moment

Was going to say the same thing about boobs not hurting and mine don’t seem to feel as heavy. Remember feeling like that when I was PG with my daughter and had 2 early scans as I was inconsolable...feeling very emotional about it this time around too all I can do is wait I suppose 😓

On a side note have been feeling like im on a boat every time I get up to walk 🤢

Been avoiding thinking about being pregnant too much as I’ve had lots of spotting but a scan a week apart and they aren’t overly worried thankfully.
Absolutely love hearing everyone’s symptoms, got horrible nausea and delightfully craving veggies so at least I know it’s not chocolate cake like my second 😂

I'm around 7 weeks pregnant. I had a scan when I thought I was 6+1 going on my lmp but couldn't see a heartbeat so they thought I was a bit earlier. I have a rescan booked for tomorrow. This will be baby number 3 but pregnancy number 7. I have been sick today, I'm not eating meals. Picking at bits. But then still feeling sick. I feel like I'm starting again. Do are 10 and 8 this year. I'm already a single mum and it's a bit of a whirlwind. I havent told bd yet as I want to make sure things are going okay.

@Tofu35 Yes weirdly enough I've been waking really early. I seem to go to bed absolutely shattered but then wake up refreshed which never normally happens.

@embob993 Dyed my hair through my last two pregnancies with no issues 🙂

I had some spotting today. Very scary. I feel like I won’t fully relax until my scan on Friday now.

@DeadSouth can I ask what your spotting was like? I've had brown discharge for the last 2/3 days on and off and about 20 minutes ago has brown and I pretty sure some pink too 😥 didn't have any of this with my daughter so I'm so scared. Scan on Thursday, how will I make it until then?!

@LolaJ87 I've had a bit too, brown discharge and tonight mixed with a bit of pink when I wipe 😥 it's so scary. Glad you have a scan soon too, I hope all is okay.

@lovesT It started pink discharge but significant like covered a few wipes, then turned to brown but watery and I’ve had to wear a pad cause it’s quite often. I had spotting like you describe with my second and it even turned bright red at one point but there was never any sign of it coming from the womb during early scans. It was pretty much the same today when I went for a private scan, Due another at EPU on Friday but the private I seen today is a sonographer at my hospital and she was pretty confident that bleeding that’s not bright red or constant isn’t to be worried about cause they see it so often so try your best not to worry.

It’s so hard with early pregnancy cause they all say “it’s a waiting game” but that doesn’t help with nerves at all. If it gets any worse or you get more anxious call your epu they should offer a cervical check just to see if there’s any irritation that could be causing it! Thursday definitely seems like a long wait 💕

@DeadSouth thank you for replying. I should be watching a film with my family but in bed trying not to show my anxiety 😥. It hasn't been pink at all until 30 mins or so ago, but have wiped it away and there is no more so far and no cramping. It's all I think about at the moment 😥.

Did you have a scan today? Was all okay? I hope everything is okay for you x

@LolaJ87 and @lovesT sorry yous are going through that it must be a nightmare! My mum bled through her whole pregnancy when she was having my brother bright red and normally when her af was due. He's now 6ft4 and a pain in my arse 🙈😂

LovesT I’m so sorry you’re going through this too. When is your scan? I just want both of us to get our good news and feel reassured.

Mine was brownish. I spoke to a midwife and she said I didn’t need to come into the EPU unless it was enough to cover a party liner or bright red or I was having intense cramps. She said it’s quite common and not to worry, it’s probably old blood and that there were a number of potential causes around this stage of pregnancy. It’s reassuring that it’s happened to other people and that the professionals don’t think it was a big deal, but that doesn’t stop my brain from jumping to all the “worsts”. Trying to get a handle on it and think positive thoughts.

@LolaJ87 my scan is on Thursday morning. Feels like forever.

That sounds reassuring what your midwife says and sounds like lots of stuff I've read online but yeah can't help but think the worst! So you have a scan? Did you say Friday? Sorry I've got mixed up with the different posts. Keep me updated and I'll do the same, it's helpful to talk to someone going through the same so feel free to message or whatever x

@lovesT it’s so hard to keep everything straight isn’t it, especially with the pregnancy tiredness and stress! Yes mine is Friday evening. @LolaJ87 yeah so hard! Fingers crossed for you too!! I spoke to my husband last night about how I'm feeling and mentioned paying for a scan sooner which I thought he would say don't bother as the other one is on Thursday but he said he'd pay to stop me feeling like this and at least know what's going on. I had already looked at a few and there is one not too far where I may be able to get one today (7 weeks today) so we might go this afternoon but I'll have a look again and see if we'll go for it.

Sickness hit like a ton of bricks this morning. Previously a little bit of food was helping but now even the idea of eating so much as a cracker makes me feel that "about to puke" jumping in my throat.

Morning everyone! Had an evening off MN last night to celebrate my mum's birthday. I gave her a phone before she arrived to let her know I was 6 weeks pregnant, said it was the best birthday present! She knows after my miscarriage last time that I'm a bit cautious about celebrating, but it was nice to be able to say to her and not have to pretend to feel fine when 10 mins before she arrived I was collapsed in bed eating dry crackers 😅

Also, what's everyone's Easter plans today?
