And so the sickness begins…🤢🤢🤢

Noodle87 · 16/04/2022 11:21

I seem to have zero appetite, which is incredibly usual for me - I'm usually the hangry type, and a big snacker. But over the last week or so, I've had to remind myself to watch anything and only once I've started eating do I realise I'm hungry.

Chocolate still tastes disgusting to me, but I could eat a multipack of crisps in one sitting.

I naively thought that food aversions etc would be a lot further down the line!!

PinkFizz1 · 16/04/2022 11:39

My attitude towards food is weird. It’s like nothing appeals to me at all, until it does, and it’s usually one specific snack type thing and not a proper meal, and I have to have it. Then I have it, and the thought of it makes me feel sick afterwards! At this rate I’ll have nothing left on my list of food that appeals to me!

I’m 5+6 today and still no sickness. Bit tired, sore boobs and that’s about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

NoseringGirl · 16/04/2022 12:23

Hello everyone!
I won't add myself to the list yet until I've done another test but just had faint positive this morning so all going well it looks like #4 could be making an appearance for me!

Tofu35 · 16/04/2022 12:34

Is anyone finding they're waking up super early? The last 2 days I've been up at 5am, bright awake. Today I managed to nod off again at 7 (woke up at 11 🫢)

I've been up for the past 10 days at 5am!!! This morning it was 4:30, managed to fall asleep again at 7 and woke back up at 8. It's so weird as I'm proper awake at 5am too, not that in-between sleep. I'm also having very vivid dreams

Yes, but more because of my early rising 5 year old than anything pregnancy related haha!
Graceybaby · 16/04/2022 13:05

@StarveInn Same here! My son is an early riser but I've never been much of a lay in kind of person tbh.. lack of sleep is probably the thing I'm least looking forward too! 🙈😅

NoseringGirl · 16/04/2022 13:11

I had that in my second and third pregnancies. Waking up suuuper early and struggling to get back to sleep! Doesn't help that afternoon tiredness when it hits!

Mommabear20 · 16/04/2022 14:01

Is anyone else only wanting strong tasting things? In my previous pregnancies plain boring foods have been my best friend, however this time around, I'm all about the stronger tastes! Pepperoni, tikka masala sauce, cheese and onion crisps are my life line at the moment

Chanel05 · 16/04/2022 14:31

@Beautytobe how far along are you?

This is my third pregnancy (one successful, one mmc) and I can't for the life of me remember when my sickness began.

Yes! I'm exactly the same, then I'm ready for a nap by half 12 😂 I've been off work for 2 weeks (work at a school) and I'm dreading going back on Tuesday, I'm going to have to set up a nap corner in my store cupboard 😂
Jj19 · 16/04/2022 15:05

I’m a teacher too (Year 6) and I’ve just worked out my worst weeks in previous pregnancies (weeks 6 and 7) will fall during SATS week 😭 going to be running out of the exam to throw up at this rate. It’s so hard to hide how crap you’re feeling in a classroom of people all day 🥴

Graceybaby · 16/04/2022 15:12

@Pinkfig wow, beautiful 😍

Just sitting in the garden with a nice de-caf coffee soaking up the rays.

xx

Mommabear20 · 16/04/2022 15:18

@Pinkfig wow! So jealous!

Whilstwewait · 16/04/2022 15:23

Hey girls. Hoping it’s ok to join. Congratulations everyone
I haven’t had chance to catch up yet but I will. Just found out today I’m pregnant with baby number 2. My son is only 11 months. It took 14 months to conceive him and now I’ve accidentally got pregnant!! I can’t believe it and feel so stupid but blessed as I know how much of a struggle it can be. Based on an online calculator I’m due December 21st. Still in shock at the moment. The group of girls I met on here pregnant with my son were a massive support so hoping for the same this time xx

lovesT · 16/04/2022 16:09

@Mommabear20 quite the opposite! Bland all the way, same as last pregnancy. 😊

Has anyone else had fluctuating symptoms around 6/7 weeks? I was so worried last night as yesterday I didn't feel as nauseous and then last night my boobs stopped hurting so thought the worst but sore boobs are back and I'm tired again but nausea not as bad. I feel better now that sore boobs are definitely back but oh my goodness the scan on Thursday can't come quick enough x

lovesT · 16/04/2022 16:12

Also everything smells and I have that weird taste in my mouth!

embob993 · 16/04/2022 16:35

@lovesT yes!! Mine fluctuate too. Felt so sick last night and could have sworn at my OH when he hugged me because my boobs hurt but today I'm feeling fine. I hate it when they wear off because I'm so scared of MC still! But I'm sure it's normal as I've been on and off with them all week 😊
