So I know this is super super early, but I wanted to start a thread going for us ladies with December due dates. I had a mc during my first pregnancy in January so I'm nervous about everything, but also excited! I'm 4 weeks pregnant Sunday and my test lines have been fairly strong 🙏 I have a sensitive sense of smell and my nipples are sore (but I'm embracing every symptom I get!)

I've got some veryyyy pale brown discharge. Like I wouldn't know if I didn't scrutinise it in so much detail. Didn't have this with my first dd but I did have actual bleeding at 11 weeks so I'm trying to be cool about it.
6+2 today and feel sick.

LolaJ87 · 10/04/2022 08:45

@Krista1991 they look very faintly positive to me too! My first couple of tests were the same. Give it 2 days and check with a First Response! Fingers crossed for you.

@Galaxyrippleforever a tiny bit of discolouration can be from anything, really hope it’s a one off and nothing to worry about. Take it easy today anyway, if you can.

Mac4431 · 10/04/2022 09:01

I don’t think I’ve ever had trapped gas before but got it’s bad the last day 😭

Anyone else experience this?

Pinkfig · 10/04/2022 09:05

Feeling a bit anxious this morning ladies. I'm not really experiencing any symptoms at 3weeks 5 days just some heartburn and cramping. With my first my nipples were sore at this time.

I'm going abroad on holiday tomorrow for two weeks so hopefully can relax for the next fortnight distracted by tourist type activities. Confused

DogTired22 · 10/04/2022 09:08

@Galaxyrippleforever according to my dates I'm 6 weeks 2 days too. Fingers crossed I'll make it to 12 weeks this time 🤞 I'm already really nauseous 🤢 I had awful morning sickness in the pregnancy I lost last year, I could barely function! How are you feeling?

DogTired22 · 10/04/2022 09:10

@Pinkfig my symptoms didn't really kick in until about 5 weeks 5 days so don't worry just yet!

Have a fab holiday! I wish I was going away somewhere! 🥰

Yep I feel terrible. Really sorry to hear you lost a pregnancy last year. 🤞 This time.
I'm really not coping well with the nausea and vomiting. It's actually why I waited almost four years to do this again, but it's worse than I remembered. I feel like a really rubbish mum as well because I just feel so terrible and can't get enthusiasm for anything.
I'm also swelling up and cannot fit in my jeans at all!

MiaSparkle · 10/04/2022 09:39

@Pinkfig are you going aboard if so are you going by plane ?

Thanks @DogTired22 Smile how far along are you now?

Nutella99 · 10/04/2022 11:14

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and the nausea has really hit today, as well as fatigue the last couple of days and generally feeling a bit crap. Evolutionary-wise, why are we like this?! It doesn't seem sensible. I feel like I'm barely at the start of my symptoms, there's going to be so much more/worse to go through in the next few months (let alone looking after a baby, ignoring that part right now!), and I'm already at the point where I don't understand why on earth anyone would do this more than once. Or even just once - it's not like I wasn't warned!

embob993 · 10/04/2022 11:29

Very personal question.. has anyone noticed any tenderness while doing the deed? I've noticed a couple of times having an inner bruising feeling in certain positions which isn't fun! It's not been consistent and haven't had any symptoms alongside it to suggest concern (no bleeding etc) and I've read up on it and it can be normal for many reasons in pregnancy. Just wondered if anyone else has had it at all? 🙊

Has anyone not had cramping so far? I’m 4 weeks today and remember having a lot of cramping with my DD

Congratulations to all the newbies love seeing this thread grow everyday 🥰

@embob993 yes! I've noticed it a few times it can be a bit uncomfortable but I thought I was just weird cause it didn't happen with DD 🙈😂

Bongos bingo was amazing but I feel hungover even though I was on the water all night 🙈 I didn't have fizzy juice incase I bloated but by the end of the night I looked about 6 months pregnant and my stomach was solid 😳😂

Sdoubleyou · 10/04/2022 12:43

@embob993, so we've actually not done it since finding out I was pregnant. Not because I don't want to, but I'm a little scared of freaking out if there's cervical erosion or in case anything else. Last time I was pregnant we did it and it seemed ok. Maybe try being on top so you control the depth and rhythm.

MiaSparkle · 10/04/2022 12:47

Is it just me who's got a lower sex drive? I've completely lost interest🤣haven't done it since we found out I was pregnant

DogTired22 · 10/04/2022 12:52

@Galaxyrippleforever my nausea has been awful the last few days, it always floors me! I too feel like I'm not much use to anyone when I'm like this but I try and pace myself and if the washing doesn't get done so be it. It's a strange thing to say but I really hope everything OK this time round as it feels so cruel to go through all the sickness and stress of it and then still lose a baby.

Hope you're managing to get through the day x

DogTired22 · 10/04/2022 12:56

@Seajelly4life

I have been lurking for a while and scared to join in case I tempt fate! But I can no longer resist 🤣 been testing positive since Wednesday and AF was due Friday… NHS website says if all is well my estimated due date will be 17th December which I think is the same as someone else on this thread? I had a MMC last December (thought I was 11 weeks but it happened at 9 weeks) so this will be a year on, almost to the day! Already have a DD who turned 2 end of March. No typical pregnancy symptoms yet at all but I have got bloody Covid and very nervous about that! Whyyy are these first 12 weeks so scary and long?!?
@Seajelly4life congratulations and welcome!

Fingers crossed everything goes well for you. I too had a MMC in December last year, found out at 12 week scan that we'd lost baby about 9 weeks. Providing all goes well this baby is due exactly a year on from when I had the MVA, December 3rd.

Sorry to hear you've got covid! I really hope it is mild and passes soon for you 🙏

@MiaSparkle I have absolutely no sex drive whatsoever! 🤢 combination of sickness, fatigue, having other children to look after and my history of miscarriage.

@Nutella99 I know what you mean about the nausea and sickness. It renders me pretty useless to most things! I'm under a consultant at the recurrent miscarriage clinic this time so I'm going to ask for her advice regarding the sickness. I tried antiemetics last time and they didn't seem to help at all!
Laughingmole · 10/04/2022 13:23

For those of you going on holiday soon. I took a 7 hour flight yesterday. I was really worried about feeling sick, so packed loads of snacks. But I was absolutely fine! Now time to enjoy my holiday! And hope that my flight back (when I’m 7 weeks 2 days) is just as good!

hopefulsunshine11 · 10/04/2022 14:31

I've been getting really bad cramps yesterday and today, like period cramps and I'm really moody. I'm 6 weeks on Tuesday. Has anyone felt like this around that many weeks. Back is also killing me!

Same here! And I’m 6 weeks on Thursday. Cold, period like cramps, crying over everything and knackered!

This is reassuring! ❤️ I'm going in June for my 21st
