So I know this is super super early, but I wanted to start a thread going for us ladies with December due dates. I had a mc during my first pregnancy in January so I'm nervous about everything, but also excited! I'm 4 weeks pregnant Sunday and my test lines have been fairly strong 🙏 I have a sensitive sense of smell and my nipples are sore (but I'm embracing every symptom I get!)

Thank you @cocoforbes you made a good point ☺️Good luck to us all xx

PinkFizz1 · 07/04/2022 19:47

Thanks everyone for your words & its… reassuring? to know we’re all in the same boat.

Fingers crossed for a healthy happy 34-35 ahead weeks for us all. X

bbno2 · 07/04/2022 19:57

The overwhelming likelihood is that the majority if not all of us will have a baby in December. ❤️

It’s also that funny early stage still where you don’t really feel pregnant .. it gets a bit easier when you do x

littlecontis · 07/04/2022 19:57

@bbno2 @PinkFizz1 @RoseGold24 @cocoforbes it really is so difficult but like cocoforbes, I have been telling myself that too. It is very difficult because I can't really talk about it with anyone IRL. I have 'only' been suffering from headaches and fatigue and wished I had more symptoms cos I also find that reassuring.

We are here for each other and I wish us all a healthy happy 34-35 weeks ahead too! Sending lots of virtual hugs and love x Daffodil

RoseGold24 · 07/04/2022 20:12

Thanks @littlecontis love and hugs to you too! I'm glad we all have each other x

FlowerJ · 07/04/2022 20:34

@Meowcat89 Ahh hello fellow yorkshire lass 👋 Sorry if you've already said this (I'm losing track of messages) but how far along are you? I'm 6+4 with no.3 Hope your cramping eases, pink tinged CM can be causes by implantation. Fingers crossed you have no more 🙂

@BuchananBaby I had a message from my GP today saying they have staffing issues and wondered if they would be getting behind on appts and scans (chuffing covid) I can't cope waiting til 12 weeks nevermind 14! 😫

@looloo123456 Hope you are ok! Sending love.

@December22NewMomma Im so sorry, I agree that you should still go for your scan though! I've known ladies have numerous bleeds in their first trimester and go on to have healthy babies. Fingers crossed everything is still OK.

@Sdoubleyou I was the same last week (5 weeks). I'd been horribly constipated and then within days it switched to the opposite. I know hormones have an effect on bowels so maybe its that?
@PinkFizz1 My anxiety is through the roof too. I suffer with anxiety any way and I can't take my tablets for it anymore so feel super anxious. I have barely any symptoms but really trying not to test as the relief is only temporary. I've also had previous MMC. One thing that keeps me going is that out of the 60 ladies on my DS Facebook baby group only a few went on to have MC so it's very likely most of us will go on to have healthy babies! ❤

Hello,
I am 4 weeks and 1 day pregnant.
Unfortunately, my husband was away when I found out and is still away for the next two weeks. So I'm left panicking about every single symptom.
This is my first pregnancy and I was told it may be difficult for me to get pregnant so after four months of trying my mind was blown when I got that positive test on Sunday.

My symptoms are sore/heavy boobs and I am knackered and hungry all the time which I know are totally normal.
I have some bouts of nausea that come and go.

However, there are a few things worrying me - Google's fault- must not Google and I was wondering if anyone had the same.

I am so hot all the time - I've woken up the past few nights in a sweat.

My vagina feels like it's throbbing at times, has become abit tingly and sometimes itchy.

I don't seem to have a lot of discharge.

I started with cramps on left side but today it has been in my lower right side in my back and I have had some shooting pains on that side - which is totally freaking me out.

I just think it's mad that I have all these symptoms and I'm only 4 weeks and it's making me panic.

I am terrified and looking for reassurance that someone else has had any or all of the same symptoms this early!

Please help - from a very terrified, wanting this baby so much mum to be.

December22NewMomma · 07/04/2022 20:38

Thanks all. Doctor has asked me to do a pregnancy test first thing tomorrow. I then need to give her a call.
It sounds odd but if it is the end I’ve found massive comfort in the fact that I got pregnant to begin with, myself and DH had been trying for 4 Months for our first baby and I was beginning to think there were fertility issues.
Fingers crossed for a positive outcome in the next few months hopefully!

bbno2 · 07/04/2022 20:45

@Hou9723 - everything you've described is perfectly normal early pregnancy symptoms. Some admittedly unpleasant though! Try not to worry, although absolutely easier said than done! Pretty much anything bar heavy bleeding or severe pain can be "normal".

@December22NewMomma - and as others have said, heavy bleeding can even be OK sometimes. I know personally of one person who had a heavy bleed around 5 weeks. Assumed they'd miscarried, then had a scan 2 weeks after as they felt unwell and there was some uncertainty, and there was baby, happy as anything in there.

FlowerJ · 07/04/2022 20:47

@Hou9723 Welcome and huge congratulations!
Aww are you planning on telling him in a special way with him being away or do you think you'll crumble before he gets back? 🙂 I've always wanted to think of a fun way to tell my OH but then just couldn't wait haha

Don't worry, I am sweating like crazy at night! I'm normally a very cold person but I felt internally boiling last night 🥵
I also had cramping on my left side last week (5 weeks) but its eased off now. I think they say that as long as its not constant, unbearable and accompanied by bleeding its OK. I'm now 6 weeks and my cramping has mostly gone.
I seem to have more blood flow? to the lady area but no itching. Maybe contact GP if that continues? I remember with DD I got BV in my first trimester, something to do with change in PH levels but it didn't effect the baby in anyway 🙂 I'd just keep an eye.
I know its such an anxious time, you're not alone xx

Nejnej · 07/04/2022 20:48

@Hou9723

It's common to be warmer due to the hormones, and they can increase the blood supply to your genitals (possibly the throbbing? Cramps can be quite normal, but always speak to a healthcare professional is they're severe or constant.
No change in discharge here, so don't worry about that!

I've maybe felt nauseous a few times (but I get that sometimes anyway) but I don't think I'd otherwise guess I was pregnant if my period wasn't over a week late!

It's all super anxiety inducing, I think we're all feeling that right now, but try to relax (and avoid too much Google!) Smile

Thank you so much!!
Think it's the back ache that's worrying me most!! I'm like surely not my back 🤣

I FaceTimed him whilst he was in a museum ❤️🤣 he cried bless him.
We had to have a chat a few years ago about me maybe not being able to conceive after being told I had PCOS and another rare condition. So the fact it's taken 4 months is nothing short of a miracle and now I'm just praying like mad it goes to full term - the fear is very very real!

Google is not my friend!!!
Thank you so much for responding and for your reassurance - it is so appreciated! Feeling very lonely in it atm ❤️❤️

This is amazing!!

Phie04 · 07/04/2022 21:30

@Hou9723 perfectly normal hun. Everything you described I had with my son around the same time. Enjoy food whilst you can stomach it... I know I am 😆

Sdoubleyou · 07/04/2022 23:18

Thanks for the responses, it's nice to have reassurance! Ginger seems to be doing the trick for now.

Definitely feeling hotter as well! I've just finished a spin class where I gave about half effort and I'm drenched!

looloo123456 · 08/04/2022 00:10

I am so nervous. Most if not all of my symptoms are gone, I'm cramping and I'm having some bleeding. My mom is adamant that I'm psychosomatically pregnant and she's not doing anything to help and I'm so scared to talk to her because I know my body, but when I say something isn't right she brushes it off and tells me it's in my head. Angry Sad

looloo123456 · 08/04/2022 00:14

I've asked if I can take another test, but she said to drop it. I told her that I'm bleeding and it hurts like heck and she just sighed and said that it's just my period and hat I'm fine. I KNOW SOMETHING IS GOING ON BUT NOBODY BELIEVES ME!!! I'm sorry. It's just that it's frustrating and I just need somewhere/something to vent to where people don't think I'm crazy.

RoseGold24 · 08/04/2022 05:16

Dunno why I've done it to myself but I've POAS again this morning. I don't think this is any lighter than previous tests I've done, but I'm worried it's too light for 17dpo??

Due December 2022 ❤👶
raxel · 08/04/2022 07:38

Hey everyone! 👋🏻 Hope you don’t mind me joining. I got my first BFP on Monday after more than 3 years of trying to conceive. I’m 39 and it’s an IVF pregnancy so have an early scan booked for the 21st. I’m so, so excited to finally be pregnant but completely terrified of something going wrong.

BuchananBaby · 08/04/2022 07:59

@looloo123456 I'm not sure what appointments are like in America but are you able to contact your doctor and get an appointment yourself?

@RoseGold24 that's a fab line for 17dpo🥰

@raxel congratulations 🥰 you're in the right place we're all nervous wrecks 😋

RoseGold24 · 08/04/2022 08:02

Thanks @BuchananBaby what are we all like! But at least we have each other!

5manc · 08/04/2022 08:55

I have woken up this morning to such bad nausea🤢 I'm 5 weeks today. Can't remember if I've already asked this but does anyone had cramps in their lower tummy and thighs? Mine was so bad last night it woke me up! I got the same in January and the midwife said it's normal but still worries me! X
