So I know this is super super early, but I wanted to start a thread going for us ladies with December due dates. I had a mc during my first pregnancy in January so I'm nervous about everything, but also excited! I'm 4 weeks pregnant Sunday and my test lines have been fairly strong 🙏 I have a sensitive sense of smell and my nipples are sore (but I'm embracing every symptom I get!)

@December22NewMomma my heart is broken for you, I'm so sorry. Please take good care of yourself. It might be a good idea to go for the scan anyway but see how you feel. Sending love.

looloo123456 · 07/04/2022 16:41

Thank you guys! I'm going to see what I can do. I'll talk to my mom. I'm still in pain, but we'll see and pray everything is okay.

looloo123456 · 07/04/2022 16:45

@December22NewMomma I understand your pain, hon. I'm praying.

Beautytobe · 07/04/2022 17:37

I only got my bfp on Tuesday - a day before my missed period but I took a CBD today and it came up 3weeks plus...what does this mean because 4 weeks ago I had a period! Twins?!?

Amphibian94 · 07/04/2022 17:45

@Beautytobe digital doesn't go from lmp it goes from conception so sounds right for your dates x

Nejnej · 07/04/2022 17:54

@December22NewMomma So sorry to hear this. Definitely still go for your scan, I have a couple of friends with early bleeding who went on to have successful pregnancies - I know it's not the norm, but best to get checked. Sending love x

Sdoubleyou · 07/04/2022 18:28

Is anyone else feeling a very gurgly and upset stomach? I'm only at 4w3d and I had some constipation-ish symptoms a few days ago and now the last two days it's more the opposite. Like nausea that's not going up but down. (I know TMI doesn't exist on pregnancy threads, but still, apologies!) I'm going to try completely cutting out coffee, I've been doing half decaf/half regular until now. Maybe I can't tolerate it anymore.

PinkFizz1 · 07/04/2022 18:37

Ladies, how do you all get a grip on your anxiety that something is going to go wrong?! I’m a natural worrier but this being my first pregnancy, it’s like a whole new level!

I feel like I’m analysing how sore my boobs are today compared to yesterday & I don’t really have any other symptoms so I’m really worrying. Sad

I know it’s not good for me or the pregnancy, I know if something was going to happen it would happen whether I worry about it or not & I know all the (fabulous, btw!) statistics that someone kindly posted yesterday but I just can’t feel anything other than anxious Sad

RoseGold24 · 07/04/2022 18:49

@PinkFizz1 I'd love the answer too! Absolutely crippled with anxiety. Keep POAS and just tested again to check line progression when my pee was basically clear cause I've had 2 litres of water today, then almost in tears because the line is barely visible! Why am I torturing myself?!

@RoseGold24 I am doing this too. It's so difficult.

RoseGold24 · 07/04/2022 19:00

@pinkblush29 to think all we ever wanted was our bfp! Never considered what it would feel like after I got it

bbno2 · 07/04/2022 19:02

It's so so so difficult to keep the anxiety at bay.
I wish I had some suggestions, but I'm equally nervous at the moment. I have avoided POAS though as I don't think it'll help me regardless of what colour the line is.

@Sdoubleyou - I had this problem in my last pregnancy. It turned out to be the pregnacare vitamins. I couldn't tolerate them. I switched to boots basic folic and vit D and was fine. Suggest ruling your vitamins out if you think that could be the cause?

Phie04 · 07/04/2022 19:18

@PinkFizz1 bless you. It is hard but once you are out of the first trimester it does get easier. Try not to stress though as it won't be good for you or the baby. You need to keep blood pressure down and relax as much as possible. Have a nice warm bath (not hot) with a nice candle and enjoy growing your little bean ♥️

5manc · 07/04/2022 19:24

I'm so sorry @December22NewMomma thinking of you ❤️

cocoforbes · 07/04/2022 19:27

@bbno2 @PinkFizz1 @RoseGold24 it's super hard... I'm not sure if this is helpful but thought I'd share what I'm trying. After two miscarriages and picking myself up from them both to try again, I am trying to remind myself that I will be ok even if the worst happens. If this pregnancy doesn't stick, yes I will be devastated and it will be horrible, but I will get through it. I find that sometimes thinking about the worst and facing it helps make it less scary.
