So I know this is super super early, but I wanted to start a thread going for us ladies with December due dates. I had a mc during my first pregnancy in January so I'm nervous about everything, but also excited! I'm 4 weeks pregnant Sunday and my test lines have been fairly strong 🙏 I have a sensitive sense of smell and my nipples are sore (but I'm embracing every symptom I get!)

So crazy and lovely to see how widespread (and also close) everyone is!!

I told DH tonight that baby bean is staying put! 🥰 he wasn't thrilled but also not mad so I'm taking it as a win!

pinkblush29 · 06/04/2022 21:38

@bbno2

I’m in Suffolk

I wish I had good words of comfort for everyone including myself! I liked that statistics page shared earlier.

@bbno2 I'm trying to find this statistics page but can't seem to see it? Have I missed it? Xx
FlowerJ · 06/04/2022 21:46

I'm in Yorkshire 😀

@Mommabear20 So glad he seems to be OK, maybe he is slowly coming round to the idea!

lovesT · 06/04/2022 21:49

I'm in Scotland (originally from England) in East Ayrshire 😊.

I feel like lots of pregnancy things have hit me today, tiredness, feeling hormonal (bit worried as my first pregnancy I was quite low for the first trimester) and constipation 😳 plus a weird taste in my mouth which I had with my daughter too!

BuchananBaby · 06/04/2022 21:55

@Mommabear20 I'm glad it went well you stick to your guns ❤️

Aww @lovesT the constipation! I had to take Laxido last night (it's safe in pregnancy) my grampa gets them prescribed so my gran gave me a box of them and I may be going back for more 😂😂

lovesT · 06/04/2022 22:19

@Buchananbaby it's all glamorous isn't it! 😅 I have some lactulose from when I had my daughter (midwife recommended it and it was amazing 😅😂) so I'll have to look up is that's safe in pregnancy if it carries on. Good to know there are options though!

Needsomeadvice33 · 06/04/2022 22:53

Hey guys hope I can join
I'm 4 weeks 2 days.
Had a mmc in August last year then another mmc in December last year. Taking Aspirin this time around. Fingers crossed for us all xxx

LolaJ87 · 06/04/2022 22:58

@BuchananBaby @lovesT I’m having the opposite problem and can’t stop going. Even less glamorous…!

@Needsomeadvice33 welcome to the thread! Congrats and fingers crossed you get your double rainbow baby x

BuchananBaby · 06/04/2022 23:08

@lovesT it absolutely is 🙈!

@LolaJ87 I was like that at about 4 weeks was 6 times a day for a while, those were the good old days 🙈😂😂

@Needsomeadvice33 congratulations lovely ❤️ I'm so sorry for your losses, you're in the right place we're all nervous but we're in it together 🥰

cocoforbes · 06/04/2022 23:24

I live in London but originally from Edinburgh.

@pinkblush29 I think this is the link: datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer

FlowerJ · 06/04/2022 23:37

The constipation makes you feel so bleurgh.
Ooo I have some laxido in the cupboard as my DD takes it.. may have to borrow a couple.

I've not been tired today and had a rush of energy but once 11pm hits I can't keep my eyes open! Had a weird pressure type headache today too.

Also does anyone feel like they have a tight rubber band around their lower back/belly. Its not bloat.. its just a weird tight feeling

looloo123456 · 07/04/2022 02:56

I started bleeding Sad

looloo123456 · 07/04/2022 03:50

I was finally able to take a test and it came back positive earlier today. Then, a little bit ago, I started bleeding. [crying]

MrsN3 · 07/04/2022 06:15

Hello, can I join?
I’m 5 weeks pregnant with my first after TTC since November and covid messed up my cycles.
I’ve done my online form to the midwife (Gloucestershire) and hoping to hear from them soon and get the ball rolling!

MrsN3 · 07/04/2022 06:16

@looloo123456 I hope you’re okay! 💛

PinkFizz1 · 07/04/2022 06:33

@lovesT I know what you mean about the constipation! I might need to get something for it if it doesn’t ease up! Also, I’m in North Ayrshire! Smile

Has anyone had their call back from midwife to arrange their booking appointment yet? I called on Monday and they said they’d call back to arrange for between 6-8 weeks but now I’m wondering if they don’t actually call until between 6-8 weeks….

Amphibian94 · 07/04/2022 06:51

@looloo123456 sending hugs!

DogTired22 · 07/04/2022 07:22

@looloo123456 I really hope you're ok this morning. Call your midwife or EPU and ask for their advice, depending how many weeks you are and whether you're in pain they may ask you in for scan. I had spotting in my first pregnancy with my son and everything was fine. Take care lovely

Mommabear20 · 07/04/2022 07:28

@PinkFizz1 I'm not able to call my GP surgery to get booked in with the midwife till tomorrow as my sister works there on reception and I haven't told any family yet and she has the biggest mouth ever! 😂 but she has Friday mornings off 🤣

lovesT · 07/04/2022 07:44

@Pinkfizz1 oh we just moved from there! 😄👋

I had a call from the midwife within a couple of days of calling the maternity unit but they did say it could take up to 3 weeks depending how busy they are! With my first I was in England and I didn't have a booking appointment until 8 weeks which is standard x

PinkFizz1 · 07/04/2022 07:44

@Mommabear20 oh wow what a situation! 🤣

DogTired22 · 07/04/2022 08:03

😆 this reminds me of when I was pregnant for the first time with my son, my mother in law worked as receptionist at my doctors surgery! 😳

Kezhoust2586 · 07/04/2022 08:05
