So I know this is super super early, but I wanted to start a thread going for us ladies with December due dates. I had a mc during my first pregnancy in January so I'm nervous about everything, but also excited! I'm 4 weeks pregnant Sunday and my test lines have been fairly strong 🙏 I have a sensitive sense of smell and my nipples are sore (but I'm embracing every symptom I get!)

I'm thinking about booking in the reassurance scan. I am about 5 weeks - 3 days. It says 7/8+ is allowed so I'm thinking is about 7 and 5 days better just so I'm not too early on the scan ? What does everyone think

MiaSparkle · 06/04/2022 17:44

Just curious, where is everyone from ? ❤️

MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee · 06/04/2022 18:10

I have a scan booked for Friday with my local EPU due to the medication I am on.
I'll be 6w+2 by LMP but only 5w+5 based on the length of my cycle. I'm not expecting them to see much and hope they offer for me to return next week

BuchananBaby · 06/04/2022 18:12

I've got a scan on the 23rd April so I'll be 8+2

Hi @Beautytobe!

Great to have you with us! I have also had multiple miscarriages so I share your anxieties. I would love to return to that first positive pregnancy test that doesn't come with the worries of miscarriage. I've only just been registered at the recurrent miscarriage clinic so all they're offering me is an early scan at 8 weeks. I've made an appointment to go privately for a reassurance scan this weekend, I will be 6 weeks 2 days l.

Here if you need to chat anytime ❤

@MiaSparkle such a small world! We’ll all be comparing notes on what we have access to and how the trust is generally

PinkLemonade03 · 06/04/2022 20:41

I'm in Norfolk😊

hopefulsunshine11 · 06/04/2022 20:45

@BuchananBaby where in Scotland are you? I've not even called to book in with the midwife yet as if I do it all just feels like jumping ahead and I'm only 5 weeks! Feeling so worked up tonight 😩.

littlecontis · 06/04/2022 21:00

@December22NewMomma I still haven't booked...just don't want to jinx it you know!

I did go to my aerial hoop class and said to my instructor "I just found out about "something" so can I still do it?" She immediately got it, being a mum herself, and told me that she'd make adjustments for me to follow. I had fun but yes still anxious!

My books have arrived so I'll be reading to educate myself (as well as take my mind off from worrying!)

littlecontis · 06/04/2022 21:01

I'm in Surrey!

BuchananBaby · 06/04/2022 21:07

@hopefulsunshine11 I'm in North Lanarkshire where are you? Where I am you can't register with the midwife until you're 6 weeks so I'll be phoning them tomorrow 🥳 feels like a mini milestone! Aww lovely try not to feel worked up it's so hard though!
