So I know this is super super early, but I wanted to start a thread going for us ladies with December due dates. I had a mc during my first pregnancy in January so I'm nervous about everything, but also excited! I'm 4 weeks pregnant Sunday and my test lines have been fairly strong 🙏 I have a sensitive sense of smell and my nipples are sore (but I'm embracing every symptom I get!)

@Mommabear20

Is it too early for cravings?? I never had any with my other two but I can't stop thinking about McDonald's cheese burgers! 🤣🤣 if it wouldn't have woken the kids up I would have ordered Uber eats at midnight last night 😂

Welcome to all you new mamas! I feel like this last week has flown by!

Pickles, vinegar, bitter lemonade- amicably all the acid rich foods!

I reckon I could drink a jar of gherkin juice right now

Charl1247 · 06/04/2022 13:56
@Charl1247 - yes, I had had some mild implantation type cramping and bloating - that's stopped and today I feel like I have no symptoms.
Fairly sure that happened when I was expecting my DD so I'm not too worried.

I did however have a really weird vivid dream last night, and insane dreams were one of my main pregnancy symptoms last time too. The pregnancy dreams are so so so weird!!!
Yes I still keep having vivid long dreams so maybe that's a good sign x

Mommabear20 · 06/04/2022 14:01

@bbno2 oh my gosh! The dreams!!! I had my first word pregnancy dream last night too! I had them in both other pregnancies so as weird as they are, it's a comfort to me 😁

LolaJ87 · 06/04/2022 14:07

Oh! That makes me feel much better about the nightmare last night. Really reassuring that it's yet another symptom!

bbno2 · 06/04/2022 14:13

@Mommabear20 during my last pregnancy I dreamt I got a taxi to go and collect 100s of baked potatoes for Donald Trump. They were overflowing out the taxi and kept falling out the car onto the motorway! Grin

It was during his first election period and I had so many Donald Trump themed dreams.

I also had one where I lived in a pancake shop that was run by ghosts and you had to throw icing sugar at them to know where they were. I had to redesign their menu and kept throwing sugar at them to talk to them about it.

So unbelievably weird!

December22NewMomma · 06/04/2022 14:13

@Amphibian94 congratulations!
Im also trying to stop myself getting carried away and going through a mix of excitement and dread that something might go wrong on a sometimes hourly basis!

@Charl1247 I was getting twinges but now nothing. Tightness of stomach muscles and bloating is still very apparent though. It’s very uncomfortable to eat not because of nausea or being full but feeling really bloated and like there’s no room

FlowerJ · 06/04/2022 14:22

The baby brain definitely never leaves! In fact I think it just gets worse with each 🙃

Oh the pregnancy dreams are horrible! I've not had any this time (yet) but last pregnancy I kept dreaming my OH was going to die. They were so vivid I used to wake up crying.

bbno2 · 06/04/2022 14:24

I think I was really lucky that whilst I did have some upsetting dreams, most were just strange. Last nights was just a strange one too. But it's like they are real, so vivid.

Mommabear20 · 06/04/2022 14:43

My dreams are usually nightmares involving death which is the opposite of comforting! Luckily though it's not usually anyone I know, it's tv characters or just random faces

DogTired22 · 06/04/2022 15:02

@MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee I really wanted cheese on toast for lunch today!

DogTired22 · 06/04/2022 15:04

Good afternoon everyone! Hope you're all doing ok. I spoke to soon about not having any nausea, I've felt queasy all day! This is a good sign and I feel relieved but previous miscarriages mean I can't get too optimistic just yet.

Haxeri · 06/04/2022 15:12

My cat has started wanting to sit on me all the time, I must be starting to get very warm!

pinkblush29 · 06/04/2022 15:16

@Amphibian94

Hi everyone... hoping I can join you ladies.

I'm 5w4d but having had 4 previous mc finding it really hard to be excited and I'm so nervous. Anyone in the same boat? I'm due around Dec 3rd and really hoping this will be a sticky bean 🤞🏼❤. Been wanting to join the thread for a while but felt to scared to! Hoping I can stay and see all our Christmas miracles x

@Amphibian94 hi lovely and congrats.

I've had two previous miscarriages and I'm also worried and thinking this one won't stick. It's so hard to be excited about it when you have had previous history of loss. Can only hope and pray it will work out for us this time. ❤️

looloo123456 · 06/04/2022 15:58

@bbno2 Yes. My mom just doesn't want to take me to the doctor

DogTired22 · 06/04/2022 16:05

@Amphibian94 So lovely to have you in this thread. Welcome! 🤗

I am also due around December 3rd. I have sadly experienced a number of miscarriages, 3 over the last year, so I am with you and @pinkblush29 in feeling nervous with this pregnancy. Hopefully we can support eachother through this anxious time.

Amphibian94 · 06/04/2022 16:21

@December22NewMomma @DogTired22 @pinkblush29 lovely to have this thread to keep us all sane! Hopefully all positive stories for everyone can't wait to hear all your updates Smile

Every time I get a cramp I freak out! Counting down the days to my 6 wk scan... anyone else having an early scan? X

December22NewMomma · 06/04/2022 16:25

@Amphibian94 I’ve got a scan booked for just over 7 weeks. I find comfort in googling odds and can’t wait for us all to be confident in our pregnancies - fingers crossed that comes sooner rather than later

Sdoubleyou · 06/04/2022 16:28

I'm booked for the regular scan at 10 weeks (I'm in Québec, Canada, standard is around 9 weeks) but I've also booked a private scan at 8 weeks. With my MMC it stopped at 7w2d so I'd be a wreck by week 10. I'm weirdly feeling serene this time around though. Well at least for now, I'm sure I'll have some panic moments sooner or later. But it's well worth it if we get a baby out of it at the end.

LolaJ87 · 06/04/2022 16:33

My early scan is booked for just before I'm 8 weeks. I can't wait! I was worried if I booked too early, we wouldn't be able to see anything clearly (especially as I'm heavy) and I'd panic more.

looloo123456 · 06/04/2022 16:38

I'm having a lot of cramping on one side and it's really scaring me.

DogTired22 · 06/04/2022 16:43

@Amphibian94 I am having an early scan this weekend at just 6 weeks 2 days! I booked it earlier this week when I was getting worried that I don't have any symptoms. Even if we see a heartbeat I know it's no guarantee that things will go to plan (as I have found out through previous miscarriages). However, my thoughts are that I would like to know sooner rather than later if things aren't progressing as they should so that I don't go weeks thinking everything is OK and then I can plan ahead.

looloo123456 · 06/04/2022 16:51

@DogTired22 I wish you the best on your scan!!

MiaSparkle · 06/04/2022 17:11

@Haxeri so has mine ! Stays close to me a lot more than usual and always on my belly

MariaDingbat · 06/04/2022 17:21

Hi everyone! I'm 5 weeks today and thought my symptoms seemed to be easing up (despite awful fatigue, pre-period type cramps and random nausea!) so I poas again and the blue line came up in seconds! I feel a bit reassured by that.

I suddenly feel like I want to eat all the salt and vinegar crisps and love heart sweets, which is what happened last time I had a successful pregnancy so I'm keeping everything crossed for now. I'm going to arrange a scan for 8 weeks I think, this is my first time doing this when we're not in lockdown so I've no idea what's normal!

Beautytobe · 06/04/2022 17:28

Hello! I wasn’t expecting to be here but I got my BFP on Monday - two days before my missed period. The strange thing the first line came up before it even got to the second one and was a “die stealer” not what you would expect for 12dpo.

I have had multiple miscarriages and 3 baby losses so was whipped to the early pregnancy unit today and my HCG levels are 370, I’m back on Friday to see if they go up.

It’s funny because I’m sure most ppl see the BFP and think I’m
Going to have a baby but I haven’t been able to feel that way
