So I know this is super super early, but I wanted to start a thread going for us ladies with December due dates. I had a mc during my first pregnancy in January so I'm nervous about everything, but also excited! I'm 4 weeks pregnant Sunday and my test lines have been fairly strong 🙏 I have a sensitive sense of smell and my nipples are sore (but I'm embracing every symptom I get!)

@littlecontis that dress is beautiful 🥰 I would strongly encourage a shein haul for all 🙈

@lol2015 I'm so sorry lovely sending you love ❤️

@Greenwhale congratulations 🥳

@lovesT congratulations ❤️ oh yeah the discharge is totally normal I've had to start wearing liners because my knickers were soaking 😂 that was my first sign I was pregnant was EWCM. It's quite reassuring for me because it goes away when I'm getting af so I check it's still there when I go to the toilet 🙈😂😂

Winnie2022 · 04/04/2022 20:17

@Greenwhale that’s my due date too 🙏🏼🙏🏼

littlecontis · 04/04/2022 20:21

@lol2015

Hey everyone I think I'm out, I've just done another test and it's super light again, have to hold it in the right way to see it. I've got an frer to do tomorrow morning but suspect that will be the same.

Maybe next time for us

Good luck everyone xxx

I'm so sorry to hear. Best of luck and lots of baby dust ✨

Isn't it just! I'm usually a size 8/10 but now I'm not sure which size to buy for the summer months!

KittyKat1989 · 04/04/2022 20:23

Lovely to see lots of new names on here, congratulations to you all, and sorry to hear that some of you are having tough times Flowers

I’m still waiting for some proper symptoms to start. I’ve been a bit bloated and crampy (maybe that was last night’s takeaway though!) and I’m shattered, but that’s it so far.

Hello! I'm exhausted...had a 45 nap at around 6 and now I'm ready for bed again. I want to have some more symptoms so I can have some comfort that there's a baby growing inside of me!
lovesT · 04/04/2022 21:47

@BuchananBaby thanks! I do remember it but after over 2 years I've forgotten so much of what happened and when! I also seem to be forgetting things a lot and my mind isn't working as normal, can baby brain happen this early?! Maybe it's running around after a toddler too 😂.

Anyone else on her due with their second or more?

BuchananBaby · 04/04/2022 21:56

@lovesT I've had baby brain since I had my daughter last year 😂 when we moved I accidently packed the screws for our bed in a box in the loft 😳 cried for 2 hours because I couldn't remember where they were 🙈😂 I'm due my second my DD is 13 months I must be absolutely nuts 🙈

pinkblush29 · 04/04/2022 22:07

@lovesT this will be my second if all goes to plan. I have a four year old girl. Been trying for 3 years, 2 previous miscarriages. Hoping this will be our rainbow baby!!!!! Excited but nervous and trying to remain positive. Xxx

lovesT · 04/04/2022 22:16

@Buchananbaby 😂 oh no! I found out I'm pregnant last week in moving day, and since then my brain has been frazzled ... Today I forgot a 6 digit code me and my husband have used for yeaaaarss and it's the date we got together but I just couldn't remember 😂 that's a close age gap but I'm sure it will be fun! 😄

@Pinkblush29 forty about previous miscarriages 😥 I hope this pregnancy is a healthy and happy one for you.

My daughter was 2 in Feb ❤️

Mommabear20 · 05/04/2022 06:47

@lovesT yes this is my 3rd! DD will be 2.5 and DS will be 1.5 when baby beam is due! 🤦‍♀️🤣

This will be my first so I'm very anxious and have bought a few books already cos I have no idea what to expect...!

PinkFizz1 · 05/04/2022 07:21

Hello all, please can I join? Smile

I’m 31, just discovered I’m pregnant with my first! It’s all very new, scary and exciting! I’m about 4+2 so still very early days.

I’m finding myself aware of how much I’m going to the toilet to ‘check’ the toilet roll… is this normal? I can’t help but feel super anxious that I’m going to start bleeding, I don’t know if that’s normal?

littlecontis · 05/04/2022 07:25

@BuchananBaby DH is happy to go for a scan! I will book when I've reached week 6!

Welcome @PinkFizz1 ! I'm 32 and this will be my first too! I am also constantly checking so I'm guessing it's only normal...(that's what I tell myself anyway!) I'm 4+4!

December22NewMomma · 05/04/2022 07:32

@PinkFizz1 @littlecontis I’m 30 and this is my first too. I’m 4+3 so still early days.
I’m constantly worrying but trying to relax. I’ve booked an early scan for 7+1 so I’m hoping that’ll help and that I’ll get there!

PinkFizz1 · 05/04/2022 08:34

@littlecontis @December22NewMomma

Hello both ☺️ So nice that we’re all similar ages and it’s our firsts! Glad to know I’m not the only one feeling anxious..

I’ve been told I’m high risk and will be consultant led due to my high blood pressure which apparently means I’ll get my booking in appointment earlier, I’m expecting a call back from midwife today to confirm. I am absolutely thinking about booking an early private scan as well, I might do this after I’ve spoken to midwife.

Is it a case of choosing when you want it or do you just get given the date? I want to see a heartbeat but I don’t want to leave it too long! I’m thinking if I can hold out til 7 weeks? (Doesn’t time seem to be going so slowly?!)

@PinkFizz1 it’s such a worrying time as you want to get excited but don’t want to set yourself up for disappointment.

The private scans can be booked from 6 weeks so if you’re certain on dates you can do any point from 6 weeks onwards. I’ve opted for around 7 weeks as the date suits us better. The earlier it is the less you see I suppose but it’s for reassurance more than anything.

cocoforbes · 05/04/2022 09:03

Ok if I join?

I'm 34 and we are trying for our first. Found out I'm pregnant a couple of days ago. Due 14th of December based on ovulation but a week earlier on LMP as I ovulated late.

Pretty worried as I had an mc last June and a chemical last month. Good to know I'm not the only one who is finding it hard at this early stage! So sorry to read about those who have had losses Thanks

I think my symptoms (sore boobs, cramping, tiredness) have lessened today. I have also been tracking my bbt which I am going to stop now but it has dipped the last two days. Trying not to worry but it's hard!

littlecontis · 05/04/2022 09:27

Welcome @cocoforbes ! It's really hard and I am counting the days until I am 12 weeks...

@December22NewMomma I will book a scan for 7 weeks cos I just really need the reassurance!

Everythingcrossed89 · 05/04/2022 09:28

Hi everyone, hope you don’t mind me jumping on this thread. I don’t know if I should be here or in the April ttc thread as I’m confused with what’s going on, so maybe some of you could shed some light! I’m driving myself mad! I think I’m 18 DPO today. Yesterday we got our first ever faint faint line (we think!) on an FRER with an evening wee (held it for 4 hours!) but this morning with a FRER nothing. I had some cramping last night and tiniest bit of spotting. This is yesterdays FRER we also did 2 sainsburys tests and could see something v faint but have since read reviews that the sainsburys tests are really unreliable!

This photo is yesterday eves FRER. Maybe I ovulated later than I thought or this is a chemical..

Any thoughts? Xxx

Due December 2022 ❤👶
LolaJ87 · 05/04/2022 09:30

@PinkFizz1 I do that to, checking the toilet roll! Mind you, I did have some implantation bleeding that I thought was the start of my period so I think I'm extra paranoid about it.

The nausea is really bad today, I think it's worse on the days I'm in the office, the car journey seems to set it off.

Has anyone else noticed a change in their boobs? Obviously they've been tender and sore but they actually look a bit different and I didn't think that would happen so early?? (I'm 5+3).

LolaJ87 · 05/04/2022 09:37

@Everythingcrossed89 If you're not sure when you ovulated, it might just be a bit early to test. Give it until Thursday (I know the wait is brutal) and then use a First Response on your first wee of the day. If it's darker than what you've posted then happy days! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

cocoforbes · 05/04/2022 09:37

@Everythingcrossed89 I can definitely see a line. It's so hard but I think you should try to wait and test in a few days. Are your cycles normally quite long?

Everythingcrossed89 · 05/04/2022 09:40

Thank you @LolaJ87 and @cocoforbes glad you can see something too. Not going completely mad! Yes I will try and hold out. My cycles are normally 27-29 and today is day 32. We’ve been trying for nearly 18months and this is the closest we’ve ever got we think. But i refuse to get my hopes up at this stage. To make things even more complicated, we’re flying to NYC later today! A trip we were meant to have pre TTC (may 2020) so it’s been delayed cos of Covid. So I think I’ll find out either wait in New York!!

December22NewMomma · 05/04/2022 09:45

@LolaJ87 I’ve noticed a difference in my boobs. They’re not sore like they are pre period but more feel heavy and my nipples feel different. I also have noticed the veins are far more prominent and it’s the first thing I see now if I look at them.
I’ve still not really had nausea but my tummy is always gurgling, slight cramping, acid in my throat after eating and when trying to sleep and bloating to the point I look very pregnant which is not normal for me.
What are everyone else’s symptoms?

@Everythingcrossed89 I can also see a faint line. Waif a few days and ensure you use your first wee of the day and fingers crossed it’ll continue to darken Smile
