So I know this is super super early, but I wanted to start a thread going for us ladies with December due dates. I had a mc during my first pregnancy in January so I'm nervous about everything, but also excited! I'm 4 weeks pregnant Sunday and my test lines have been fairly strong 🙏 I have a sensitive sense of smell and my nipples are sore (but I'm embracing every symptom I get!)

Hi I’m tentatively joining you! Got my first vvv faint positive on Thursday which was only 8dpo. This will be baby number 3 and DP doesn’t know yet. He had said no more after DS2 Confused so I’m waiting for the right time to tell him! I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks 18 months ago so hoping this one sticks!

@Nejnej thank you! Will be sending DH today as it’s killing my sleep.

@lottie222 can anyone ask for referrals? I keep getting told I have to wait to be seen by anyone until 8-10 weeks

I've just checked mine but they don't allow self referrals x

Hi guys. New here.

Ttc for 3 years with baby no2. PCOS. On clomid. I've had 2 previous miscarriages.

Had my positive preg test last week - awaiting to hear back from my gynae consultant with what's next. I'm about 5 weeks. :)

Hoping this is my time. Star

lottie222 · 04/04/2022 11:28

@December22NewMomma I just called my GP explained previous miscarriages and cramping, I also explained I was anxious. Luckily I had a really sympathetic and kind doc who pushed my referral. I would just explain your reasons for a ref to the GP and they should be able to refer you. I don't see why not.

@lol2015 I hope your GP can refer you easily. X

@pinkblush29 congrats! That's wonderful news for you!! X

BuchananBaby · 04/04/2022 11:33

Congratulations @Libmama and @pinkblush29 🥳

Today I'm having extreme nausea and really dizzy been working since 8am and I have done absolutely nothing. Just emailed my boss for the rest of the day off so I can go back to bed and feel sorry for myself 🙈

lol2015 · 04/04/2022 11:46

Welcome @pinkblush29 I have pcos too! We've been trying for 7 years and 2 previous mc hoping this is our time too.

Good luck lovely, have you had many symptoms? I'm really struggling with nausea and tiredness x

December22NewMomma · 04/04/2022 12:03

@lottie222 thanks for the tips. Will see if I can get anywhere

@Libmama and @pinkblush29 congratulations both!

hopefulsunshine11 · 04/04/2022 12:29

Hey ladies, wondering if you can help me and tell me if this is normal sickness. This is my 3rd pregnancy and TTC 1st child. I've been feeling lethargic and tired for the last week and I should be 5 weeks tomorrow. I was standing in the kitchen there and had a hot sweaty feeling rush all over me and that watery mouth feeling. I can only describe it as when I'm really hungover and dehydrated. I ran to the bathroom then needed a no2 Blush as had a wee cramp in my stomach then I proceeded to be sick but I've not ate anything today it was just yellow liquid. I've not really had symptoms at all in any pregnancy so not sure if that's normal or should be worried. I'm doubting and second guessing everything. I'm trying to take it as a good sign and I know symptoms don't always been everything is going to be ok but after my history my head is all over the place!

Mommabear20 · 04/04/2022 12:29

Welcome to all you new mommas!

I've told my manager today as I have a reasonably physical job. I chickened out of telling DH last night that I'll be keeping it though so that's tonight's task! 🤦‍♀️

I've got slightly more nausea today but I'm not sure if that's just because I'm at work and not able to rest like I have been at home. 🤔

Mommabear20 · 04/04/2022 12:31

@hopefulsunshine11 that's sounds normal to me but I'd still contact the doctors or 111. I experienced similar in my first pregnancy early on but no one else I know has so definitely worth checking but try not to panic. Does that make sense?

Sdoubleyou · 04/04/2022 12:32

Hello all, I just got my bfp Saturday, am at 4 weeks today. Due date around December 12. I had a MMC in July and it took several months to catch again after falling pregnant really quickly the first time. We're overjoyed but also a little anxious because of what happened the first time around. So far not too many symptoms other than elevated heart rate and temps (I have an Oura ring) and some bloating. Congrats to all the bfps and I'm looking forward to having a sounding board to bring me back to my senses when I inevitably freak out :)

hopefulsunshine11 · 04/04/2022 12:34

@Mommabear20 I'll call the doctors tomorrow I think. Was all ok with your first pregnancy?

hopefulsunshine11 · 04/04/2022 13:01

@Sdoubleyou Congratulations! I'm in a similar situation as I had a MMC in May and it's taken until now to conceive again. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and very anxious!

Winnie2022 · 04/04/2022 13:24

Hi All. Think I’m in this club 🙏🏼 Praying this is ok after a miscarriage in feb x

Winnie2022 · 04/04/2022 13:25

@Sdoubleyou my heart rate has been much faster and I am bloated! And tired
Ha x

bbno2 · 04/04/2022 13:29

Hello everyone!
Baby number 2 due ~5th December. Got a ridiculously strong positive last Thursday but could have been up to 6 days late for my period so that's probably why.

Congratulations to all of you. My first pregnancy ended in missed miscarriage, and my second resulted in my now 5yr old daughter. I remember feeling so worried for much of my successful second pregnancy and I although I feel a bit more relaxed this time, I understand completely the worries lots of you have.

bbno2 · 04/04/2022 13:33

@hopefulsunshine11
I had continuous "empty tummy" nausea and vomiting with my second (successful) pregnancy and nothing with my first (missed miscarriage). Not sure if that is reassuring but what you've described happened to me a lot. Also I had awful bad tummy for a while too, but that turned out to be me not tolerating my prenatal vitamins so I had to swap to a simpler one at around 6weeks.

Mommabear20 · 04/04/2022 14:02

@hopefulsunshine11 yes all was fine with my 1st! She now a happy (and extremely cheeky) little girl who just learnt the word NO! 😂

pinkblush29 · 04/04/2022 14:02

@lol2015 thank you! And congrats to you too! I actually don't have symptoms at the moment but with my first child, I didn't have these either until I was around 9-10 weeks. I do have a tiny bit breast tenderness but that's about it.

I always feel more worried when I don't have symptoms as if it's not progressing. I'm still waiting to hear back from gynae consultant on what to do next. I haven't informed gp or anything. Not sure if will get a early scan. Might book one privately.

pinkblush29 · 04/04/2022 14:04

Hi ladies. For everyone on here who is around 5 weeks. What have you done going forward? Have you booked scans? Have you been offered early scans if you have had previous history of miscarriage.

I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and haven't told anyone but my partner.

pinkblush29 · 04/04/2022 14:05

@Winnie2022 congratulations! Definitely a positive and have everything crossed for us all. I've also had two miscarriages in the last 2 years and struggled to get pregnant with having PCOS and being on treatment.

Let's pray this is our time x

Winnie2022 · 04/04/2022 14:15

I hope and pray the next weeks to 12 weeks go quickly and all is ok. X

DogTired22 · 04/04/2022 14:15

Hello all!

Congratulations everyone. Wishing you all happy and successful pregnancies.

Joining here for some support. I've had 3 recurrent miscarriages over the last year, chemical April 21, MMC December 21, chemical January this year, and I'm now pregnant again, 5 weeks 3 days today. I am very anxious about this pregnancy and convinced I will lose this one too 😔 My boobs didn't feel as tender this morning as they have done the last few days and I've not experienced much nausea yet only tiredness, some bloating. In my previous successful pregnancies I've had a very heightened sense of smell but not got that yet. Wish I could be more positive but previous miscarriages is leaving me nervous.

pinkblush29 · 04/04/2022 14:26

@DogTired22 congratulations! I know exactly how you feel in terms of having previous miscarriages and feeling that the outcome of this one will only go that way too. It's a horrible feeling knowing your pregnant but you can't be excited about it because you worry it won't work out in the end.

We can only hope for a different outcome this time.

I've been thinking about booking an private early scan for some reassurance this time.
