Catching up on so much with an afternoon off!
How do we know if our pelvic floor is too tight? I've been having physio for PGP and both her and my midwife have just blanket been saying I need to be doing regular pelvic floor exercises (with recommendations of exercises) and no one has mentioned assessing the existing quality of my pelvic floor!
I also have had 2 urine tests recently that have detected leucocytes and was told by midwife that they'd send it off for testing and get back to me but no one has! Does anyone know if leucocytes definitely indicate a UTI (& therefore I should chase)? Or should I assume no news is good news?
I saw a few people were talking about NCT worries & covid. Obviously it varies from location to location but I've been to two now and really enjoying them. We all wear masks for the whole thing, have windows open, and distance - it doesn't feel unsafe at all. I would really recommend to anyone on the fence about sticking with theirs, and I'm glad to be going!
Those who've had testing for GD - is this automatic or trust specific do you know? I've had no notice of any of this but apparently had protein in a urine test the other day and read that could suggest GD? But again no one has mentioned anything!
Have just got back from a second round of scans from worries about reduced foetal movement. I felt a bit silly because yesterday she was moving loads again but the sonographer today said she wouldn't be surprised if I had a few more scans for this reason before the end because of my anterior placenta masking a lot of movements but to still always call because it's better to be safe than sorry - just sharing in case anyone else is ever in a similar situation as I was really questioning & feeling bad about whether I was wasting time but she said not to worry about that!
