after saying I'd not heard from HV yet I got a letter this morning - they're coming to visit me 7/4 I will be 35+1, talk about leaving it later for twins 🤣 atleast it's 11am not 9 or I'd be rebooking as I will have finished work by then so won't be getting my chunky ass out of bed before 9! 🤣🤣🤣

@DKDK123 thanks ❤️ hahaha oh nooooo 🙈 I always wonder how you're supposed to cope for the external scans when they're late but your bladder is full - I think I'd wet myself 🙈 Glad you're still testing negative - fingers crossed it continues to be the case!

@BellatrixK yeah it will be exhausting!! No doubt starting at 6.30 (and that's an improvement from recently) with DS, we are having to drop him & dogs off at MILS at 9am!! 😬

Also update on nursery place, where X has been & still at their pre school now. I got this through about when baby could start...bearing in mind we have at least 6 other nurseries near this in our area this is because it's on a farm big focus on outside play/learning & Montessori learning

My cousins wife who was 6 weeks ahead of me had their baby today at 38 weeks after another family arrival back in December so now I'm like argggh it's me next I'm the only pregnant one left, it's so close 🤯

I know, I don't quite know what ppl who don't know what their days could be do @bez91? Im fury hate I can work around DH but there's only certain days he can do nursery run so that I can do school runs. Oh gosh yes it's you next in your family then 🥰

I am feeling GOOD this morning for the first time in ages. Think the heartburn meds have kicked in (and I realised that bread is making me feel quite unwell and I was eating it at least 2 meals a day), it's a beautiful sunny day and just me and DS - who slept in until 7.20 this morning!! Happy Saturday all!

Hello from sunny Glasgow! Big day today before the rugby has even started as PTSD has done his first roll and now I can never leave him anywhere ever again 😂🙈

I had this issue with nursery @Minster2012 because I’ve asked for one day off a week but it’s dependent on the timetable, which doesn’t get sorted until June. Nursery at the time advised me to book Tues-Thurs because Mondays and Fridays are usually less busy and I’d be able to swap a day out if necessary except now they’re so full that’s no longer an option 😬 thankfully OH is much more flexible than me so he’ll just have to work round me and the stupid timetable 🙈

@larrythelizard yessss to a lie in, DD was her usual 6:10am which still feels a lie in. Great the heartburn is disappearing, hopefully that's the last of it 🤞🏼 I've not reached the "get this baby out of me" stage yet, I'm uncomfortable but managing. Are you still being crazy and going to the gym regularly?

@Kate105 it's so bloody hard with nurseries. DD goes Tue, Wed, Fri and Wednesday seems absolutely manic!

Sounds sunny for everyone today, it is here too 😍 just dropping the travel system off for cleaning. DH is full of cold and in a terrible mood - we've had words this morning 🙈, don't know if I'm mentioned before but when he's in a mood he angry cleans/gets stuff done so I might make myself scarce for a few hours 🤪

Just had lasagna scan & once again she wasn't playing ball we got one nice shot of her face but she had legs and hands over st of the time and then nose squished up 🤪
Got my next growth scan this weds so it's all ramping up here

@inkypaper It's actual torture feeling like you're about to pee yourself and they're running late! I did have to cave on one scan and go to the toilet to let out some wee as i just couldnt hold it any longer.....stopping it half way through was a challenge! Then got moaned at at the scan as my bladder wasn't full enough 🙄

@bez91 eek you're next in the family line! I'm hoping @lexber keeps those twinnies snuggly for as long as possible as I don't want bumped up a spot on the bus line, I'm not ready just yet 😂

@larrythelizard glad the tablets are finally kicking in, makes such a difference doesn't it! 😊

Poor DS is still gutted about missing the wedding today, he kept putting the thermometer on his head and saying look mum it's green now its not red anymore that means I'm better and we can go! 😞 He's going to really struggle to stay indoors for the rest of the week! We did however get all dressed up and had our own mini wedding celebrations this morning toasting with champagne and dancing around the living room so that made him happy for today at least. Now how to fill the remaining 7 days with a 4 year old who's feeling better, has loads of energy but can't burn it off at the park 🙄

Depends where in the world you are @InkyPaper and how set you are on a certain nursery! Can confirm children are exhausting but it's sort of different when they're your own - although I'd happily ship mine off tomorrow!

Busy day here and enjoying the peace and quiet, can't decide what to watch on TV though!

Don't worry @DKDK123 I'm trying... I'm not ready yet either!! 32+3, and if induction is 36 weeks she is talking of taking me in to start things off the Tuesday when I will be 35+6... that's only 3 weeks and 3 days away...!!! 😬😳

Lazy ish day for me today, in the bath soaking at the minute as baby shower tomorrow so I had better save my limited energy for 2 hours of pretending not to be sore 🤣

@Minster2012 cute pic, I nearly had one but realised too late you need to do them early for twins or you don't get decent pictures, and with my 2 week/weekly scans I see them regular.
Oh booking Wednesday afternoon off so he can come to the next appointment with consultant- she is scanning me herself (can't remember if I posted previously it's been a long week) then steroids and visit/chat with NICU so as to know what to expect if they do come early or if either/both need a couple of days assistance at birth. It's all new to me and very scary so I think it will feel extremely real at that point and I will be 33 weeks so it's getting closer!
Both babies are now getting much more noticeable with movement and pushing out more. He had a foot sticking out earlier and my eldest went to touch it and he kicked her and scared the crap out of her she squealed 🤣🤣🤣

My last 2 scans I've not had a full bladder, and no one has said anything. I guess with the size of me and babies it doesn't matter now plus I genuinely would have wet myself this week had I not peed early ...

Glad the heartburn has eased @larrythelizard I've had bad morning sickness back today!!?! And I'm taking daily anti sickness tablets and heartburn ones - I give up lol

Well,I am awake too, I went to have a rest in bed after lunch and I woke up at 9.30, dh didn’t think to wake me up, so Netflix it is, I don’t foresee a nice productive day tomorrow .....
