On the other bus thing I was thinking the other day that this bus is good cos we all "know each other" from our journeys, and care about each other, whereas now there are lots of newbies on the TTC bus it might be quite nice for new BFPs on there to start their own grads bus for their journies. I did try & get the TTC one renamed /rebranded so it wasn't linked to this but it didn't really work, that could have naturally created a new grad bus & we could continue. I think that's what @2020mission might mean a bit, it's what I mean when I say it would be nice to carry on together in some way but maybe different 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Minster2012 let's do Birmingham then, mid point for most. Shall we organise on insta once we know whose keen?!

@paintfairy being pregnant is a good excuse to be overweight though right. It's definitely harder to control as your metabolism seems to change in pregnancy!

@Vil10 great news all is well! I'm super pleased they've asked you to go back for a rescan though to eliminate any doubt, my DDs heart defect was missed at the 20 week scan because they only saw 2 of 4 heart chambers 🤦🏼‍♀️ baby looks super chilled in there!

@Kate105 sounds a day of nothing was needed, I am the same running round doing stuff, need to learn to chill. Ah definite death diagnosis if wine is usually your go to 😆

@Minster2012 the weeing is ridiculous right! I've had my last day of visits today before office/home based. Left the house at 8am and by 12 I had already had to stop at a Starbucks and Tesco for a desperate wee 🤦🏼‍♀️ I purposely don't drink barely anything when I know I'm going to be on the road too but the wee just keeps coming 😂

I have no real opinions on the new bus thing seeing as how I'm a creep who never joined the original one 😂 but I'm enjoying creeping here even though it's been a while since PTSD arrived! However if a new bus appears I will dutifully shuffle off to my rightful place...

I would in theory be game for a real life meet up but I live very far away from everywhere (north of the Lake District) so it may not be feasible! Also would have to out myself to you because Kate is not actually my real name 😳 PTSD is real though, I'm not a total catfish!

DS has just wee'd everywhere in his bed (again), didn't even wake up poor lad so must be tired, just done him a late night v sleepy faced bath, clean PJs on and he's now snoozing away next to me in our bed. Poor OH has been banished to the spare room for months now, we all sleep better for it though. 🤷‍♀️

@Minster2012 ah yes I see what you mean about the bus. Its difficult. But new ttc people getting a fast bfp, we wouldn't really know, so it would be odd them coming here? Maybe just start a new bus then on the parenting board (or whatever its called) which we'll all be on? And don't link it from the ttc bus? 🤷‍♀️ Or we make a group somewhere outside of MN? No idea where though- FB i find clunky for that and harder to follow.

So I just checked this weight calculator thing you guys mentioned, and I'm measuring as underweight based on my pre-pregnancy weight. but I did lose a few kg in the first trimester so not sure if that counts? Also haven't been weighed since my booking in appointment. But will second a big FU to the BMI, it's racist and outdated and I honestly can't believe we're still so beholden to it.

@Franklydear sorry about the BFN (although I still think you should test today/tomorrow if no AF appears??)

@Minster2012 I got an email discount from hello fresh too and had the exact same idea 😂 I don't mind the actual cooking meals it's the having to think of what to make, make sure all the ingredients are there etc so hello fresh may just be a lifesaver ......tempted to start it now but I found a lot of their meals can become quite samey after a while and don't want to become bored of them closer to the time.
It was me that said about the American version of OBEM, it's on amazon prime.

@paintfairy feeling tired and exhausted no matter how much sleep you get is part of pregnancy just remind yourself you are growing an entire human inside of you and that alone is exhausting work even if others can't see it from the outside. Hope you're feeling a bit better today.

@franklydear would love to help with the hangers but unfortunately I'm short on them myself as most of what I've bought has been 2nd hand bundles, I think a lot of ladies on the bus will probably be the same. Have you tried your local charity shops they may have some going spare for you.

I'm soooooooo tired, DS woke up at 2.30 crying with a sore ear and feeling sick and hasn't went back to sleep since. Usually I'm awake during the night anyways but I'm awake and resting on my bed not dealing with a crying child .........its giving me the fear of going back to the newborn days 🙈 Despite having not gone back to sleep, DS is now bouncing about all over the place like there was never anything wrong and like he's had a full night's sleep, infact at this current moment in time hes running about with one of my bras against him shouting bras dont fit boys little nipples they need big mummy boobies to put in them! 😂 Wish I could down a crate of red bull right now 😴😴😴😴😴

@whatwonder I lost weight early on too. To be fair I put in my pre pregnancy weight as what it was at my booking appointment. But in actual fact I'd lost some by then. So overall I've only actually so far put on 4lb. But the rate its going on now is a concern. 🤣
I've got a twitchy eye this morning! That's annoying. 🧐 I also dreamt DH left me and I was pregnant. So I'm not happy with him today. 🤣

@paintfairy we have bought a lot 2nd hand partially to save money but also because we needed 2! And I don't feel guilty at all as everything is brilliant condition (we have been given so many clothes from family who have recently had babies and saved so much money!) it's meant we have been able to get the extras and completely redo the spare room into a nursery without any financial constraints. If the quality is good 2nd hand is definitely the way to go! Plus I like to think also that by buying off another mum I helping them too as I'm effectively giving them cash to either treat themselves or buy something age appropriate for their baby/babies ❤️ what a lovely bump!

Welcome @BellatrixK im here but a bit in/out at minute, my update to follow will explain more so! I never really had one as I only did my 1 FR which was quick and dark (twins) then did a digital a few week later to be sure Altho the severe vomiting made me very sure 🤣🤣 them lines are a great progression!

Oh @Franklydear that's terrible about the bus and especially the negative effect it will have in DS I get that so much. You've gotten him to a great safe place and the bus is making a mess of that

@kaylsd I wouldn't worry about weight gain, everyone is different. My first I gained LOADS, my 2nd I gained hardly anything and from behind you wouldn't have know. This pair I've gained but it's mainly bump - I think I'm the last 10 weeks I've gained a st 🤣 weight gain is all relative to the pregnancy xx

I can't away to the twins at home 🤣 and we play them music as my OH is very into music - plays guitar, and his dad used to be in a band years ago and plays guitar (he has a brick in the cavern club in Liverpool and played there at the same time as the Beatles!) so music is important to us so we are introducing it early lol and they love it and go crazy 💙💖

@Justanothercyster no bus drama it's just a query as to do we keep this thread in pregnancy or move to parenting as we kinda have "our group" of long termers now with babies in clusters which is great who care about each other & prob will quite like to continue chatting beyond birth as opposed to being a grad bus for the other.

@paintfairy im thinking that my weight will magically disappear by lots of walking the baby & dogs (we did lots of walking last time) so you and your dog and horse work will def help with the weight so wouldn't worry

@feliznavidad2 my hair is nice! But didbt do a pic as we just had to leave it dried not straightened as they moved the appointment t back an hour. So it's pastel violet toned semi perm and a good thinning out. A combine harvester emoji would be great!!

Honestly I'm finding it so hard to retain information atm my brain is frazzled, I really feel for those working long shifts at this end of pregnancy, it's tough enough WFH you poor guys

@Lexber I didn't hear from my health visitor until after the baby was born so it must be done differently in different parts of the country.

On the meet up front, if we can't make Birmingham work we could do a south meet and a north meet but that would then mean splitting us up which would perhaps defeat the object 🤦🏾‍♀️ just trying to think how to make it doable for everyone 🤔

If by chance I am not too far at the time I might be able to join a north one. I don't have family I visit in England as they have moved up to Scotland in the last few years so unfortunately don't have that as a possibility of being near enough now.
Would you all be planning on bringing LOs along like @Minster2012 and @blackcurrantqueen did?
