I think my hospital bags are ready to pretty much alll except snacks - I seem to have. A complete mind blank in snacks - any ideas?!?!
Ooooh @DKDK123 that's brilliant although it's a few weeks 5 working days is nothing!!
I can't believe how quickly mine has come about, I'm on annual leave from tomorrow then Mat leave starts on 13th if they dont come sooner themselves 😬 and it's the 3rd today... sh1111111t!
@feliznavidad2 I'd def recommend a spare bag for the car so you don't have to take half as much with you. I plan to leave a couple of packs of nappies in the car too just because we will use them in half the time 😬
Hope you are feeling better soon xx
I'm trying to stay positive if I am induced it won't be days! Lol a twin mum posted yesterday about her induction at 36 weeks and she started within the hour and they were here 2 hour later!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 my last was nice and quick/easy - I went in at 11.30pm and was 1-2 and they wanted me to go home so I went for a walk around the carpark and went back less than an hour later feeling it more intense and was 4-5 so they took me to the birth suite and she was here at 1.26am! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
I've been leaking a while also @Juno231 but not loads, I've found more recently I am leaking more. I didn't have this with my previous 2 pregnancies so it was a shock to me. Everyone is different some do start leaking very early, others not at all. Maybe try pads at night and see how you get on? Get some washable ones that you can alternate
Haha @Minster2012 def agree warnings come first 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 it's probably just a change in hormones due to body changes in last trimester? In all honesty with my hips and the size of bump and babies activity sex is the last thing I want as it hurts me now (swear to god my faff is swollen so much due to excess water/blood as are my legs, ankles and feet) so I can't say it's the same for me lol thankfully OH completely understands and is being very supportive (plus feels bad knowing I'm not comfy and it's become more a chore than pleasure for us now)
@paintfairy I'm at the point now I can't physically lift my legs because of my hips without using my hands or someone helping me 😬 on Friday the lovely midwife had to lift my leg on the bed for me🤣 and talk about slow walking - I think a snail could lap me right now!!
@2020mission I had exactly the same after my first (she ripped me front to back the bigger headed bugger!!) lol and yes it does soften and stretch to the point you completely forget it even happened! My OH says he wouldn't have know. If I hadn't told him that I'd had 2 kids 😉😉 or had been stitched etc so that's a positive for you ladies if you do need stitches at all? And witch hazel was a blessing and healed me so quickly. A dab on a gauze on top of my pad - smelt nice too 🤣
Chill day for us, Altho need to take Mr Bigglesworth to the vets for his first injections soon.. so I really should get up and shower 🤣 but I didn't go to bed til 1am as we were relaxing watching tv downstairs- I had 4x 15 year old girls over last night for eldest birthday last week. And I'm currently the best parent ever as I got them some hardly alcoholic alcopops, sweets, snacks and ordered in dominos pizzas🤣 then they decided to go to town today so I have them £20 to go get a maccys breakfast (I know one of them didn't bring much money with her as it was a last minute plan to go out today so I didn't want her feeling left out or not eating, and I used my bingo winnings haha) I overheard one of her friends say how cool I am - I will take that! At 35 I will take every ounce of cool o can get as I will be 50 when the twins are 15...!! And most likely not as cool.. 🤣🤣🤣
