Gosh anyone else feel a bit like they have been hit by a truck? Suddenly so tired.

I think I’ll have to tell work. I’m a doctor in a busy hospital post and I think I am meant to avoid those potentially infected. I’m also wondering how I will get on with certain shifts, and will have appointments to go to.

Morning all, so nervous this morning starting my new job and need to be at the office for 9.30. My nerves are making me not want to eat but worried if I don't eat ill feel sick but I also feel sick from nerves lol what a mess! X

Yep @WaitingForEgg the exhaustion is real. I stayed in bed all day yesterday.

I am hoping my sis rings me today. I sent her a card with a pic of the ultrasound on Friday. I'm really nervous haha.

So just been to the Dr's (totally unrelated to the pregnancy and unrelated to mh) but the Dr's have referred me to the perinatal mental health team. Anyone been under them before? I asked ages ago (before I was pregnant) whether I could go under them as I was reducing meds ready for being pregnant and they wouldn't take me so I doubt they will now either but then again, I wasn't pregnant then.
Things feel very real today haha

Hi all! Would love to join your group, I’m 26 and recently found out I’m pregnant with my first due on 29th October!

This came as a complete surprise and I’m a mix of terrified and excited so would love to follow along with the rest of you!

So far I’m feeling crampy and very emotional 😅

@livvy96 congrats 🙂 I am also expecting my first so I share the same feelings!

Is anyone just finding it impossible to work as normal? All I want to do is go back to bed and have no motivation or energy for anything! 6 weeks now and having my scan at 8 weeks so finding the 2 week wait agonising!

@Poppybloom55 same here. I’m 6+5 got my scan next Weds and I feel like I’m counting down the hours! So tired! Luckily don’t feel sick yet so that’s something.

@Poppybloom55 I feel the same, I'm so demotivated. I have been TTC for ages and expected to feel nothing but pure happiness when I finally got pregnant but the time is just dragging on so slowing and I can't be bothered with work stress and office politics anymore. I just want to go on holiday and relax but I've got ages until my next one. Really need to work out how to lift my spirits. I am only 5+2. I am hoping it will get better when I can start telling people as the constant hiding and making excuses for things can't help!

@LondonladyTTC exactly same here. If I had enough annual leave I’d take the next 2 weeks off because I’m finding it unbearable to work. I also thought once I fell pregnant I’d be so excited but the anxiety of waiting for the first scan is massively overshadowing my ability to enjoy this time. I’m 5+5 and not having my scan till 8 weeks, agesssss away!

My booking in appointment has just been cancelled for next Monday ! Apparently the community midwife will give me a call to rearrange, whenever that may be they couldn't tell me. How annoying

Starting to feel sick today - trying to eat little and often as that wait seemed to work last time. I only like the thought of things like pasties and flapjacks. Veggies 🤢

Hi everyone!

I have just found out I am pregnant! Due 26th October, 3 days before my birthday! I haven't even told my partner yet as he works away and I want to tell him in person (meaning I have to wait till tomorrow morning) so I came here to shout it out, i'm in shock LOL

Congratulations!!! Good luck keeping it to yourself till tomorrow morning :-)

Congratulations to everyone and welcome 😊 wishing yous a happy and healthy pregnancy.

I'm 5 weeks today and feeling horrible! Sickness is awful - had the same with DD all throughout the pregnancy. Struggling to keep anything down again 😔 all be worth though! Also quite crampy/twinges so still very nervous at the moment.
