Hi all,

Starting thread #2 as our first is nearly full amazingly!

I'm having an early reassurance scan tomorrow at just before 5 weeks ..,. Super super early and only because my last pregnancy was molar. Hoping to see a normally shaped gestation sac and that's it !

@Poppybloom55 I’m getting one tomorrow and I’ll be 7+2
They offer from 6 weeks here but I’d read that if your dates are slightly off at 6 weeks sometimes you don’t see the heartbeat whereas from 7 weeks you should. That was my reasoning and the fact I couldn’t wait any longer

@Poppybloom55 I've seen people have had successful scans at 6 weeks and people who's dates were off and unable to see anything too, however I've booked one for 8 weeks because I'd be even more anxious if they couldn't see anything that early but that's just me, queen of anxiety lol

@Poppybloom55 I've booked in for 6wk 2days as clinic said 6 wks but now wondering if it's too early reading what others have said 😕 they do offer rescans for free at that clinic if they can't see but I'll just spend the whole time in between worrying!

Welcome all the newbies and congrats!

After saying I had no symptoms they've hit full force now I'm 6 weeks, the sickness in the afternoon/evening is awful and only goes if I eat. Knackered come 6pm and struggling to stay awake then awake at 1/2am...

We are booking a private scan I think for next week it's my birthday this week and we have plans so didn't want to put a cloud on it if something was wrong at a scan.

Im expecting my edd to change as I'm not sure of my dates.

Whose thought about telling work yet? I'm super worried about it as I'm on maternity leave at the moment I will go back in May work until July and then probably not retyrn after summer holidays ( I'm term time only) it's nice in my ds will only go into childminders for a about 8 weeks but I am so worried about telling work. They didn't get a mat cover and distributed my jobs out and I know it's been a huge struggle for them all and lots and lots of issues. I also can't face the judgement from everyone.

I'm just wondering what date to put myself down for, I'll be due 23rd October, but I had C sections for DC1&2 so this one will be too, probably around the 16th (but that's a Sunday so maybe either side of that!)

I hope everyone is doing ok, fingers crossed for those with early reassurance scans coming up.
