@ALonelyGreyCouch @Vie8126 I wouldn't worry just yet about the seasons. My little girl was born full term at 37 weeks weighing a tiny 5lb. She's 20 months and 12-18 months clothes still hang off her. Your next baby might be bigger or smaller and fit in the same coats or summer clothes at different ages IYKWIM

@Jfb23 aw bless her my ds is a size smaller and my dd was for ages so tiny only now at 13 has she finally grown some long old legs! I was really lucky in that my first 3 all have the same birthday month over a 10 day period so the clothes all worked out :)

@jadew88 snap mine started yesterday at 5+3 too, I thought it was early as well.

Had another epau scan today for continued bleeding. Dated 7+0 with a lovely heartbeat but also a haematoma (had one in last pregnancy too).
EDD currently 9/10/22 if anyone can add me to the initial list please (can't copy and pasta on my phone?)

Moving mine forward a bit as the midwife gave me a different date than the online calculator! 8w tomorrow

@jadew88 & @BabyTwoPending I'm coming up to 5+3 in a couple of days... hoping I don't follow your trend!

All ok here. Tired, and still getting nausea and heartburn. Went swimming last night which made me actually feel so much better. Also, I’ve discovered that eating a lot less really does help (for me) with the heartburn which as I need to be careful with weight is a good thing. Counting down to my scan…

Still getting a few cramps and twinges but hoping it’s all normal. Hope everyone is doing ok!

So after leaving this group (and the fb one) due to bleeding at 5 weeks thinking it was the start of a MC.... I think I'm still in the running for being pregnant. Did a cb digital a week after the bleeding and it still said 3+ so I'm being hopeful that the blood was not sinister.

I think I'm around 6 weeks now, get big waves of nausea and not feeling great, also my boobs still hurt so much when BF'ing the toddler.

EDD is 14th October I think!

Really want an early scan now, I hoped epu would help me out when I called them about the bleeding, but they literally dismissed me as nothing as I was 'only 5 weeks' at the time. Not sure if it's worth it calling back to see if they'd offer a reassurance scan? Ive also not contacted the gp practice yet to make a midwife appointment as I have a bit of ptsd with having to cancel it last time due to mc might give them a call end of this week xx

Scared me. Also done the sneakpeek: looks like another boy for us. I’m 7 weeks 1 day.

@syda amazing news that you're back! Just goes to show that anything really can happen during pregnancy.

@syda how about a private early scan? I book them all the time I can’t help myself lol you will most likely get one for tomorrow or the day after. I go on ultrasound direct they have clinics all over the UK

@syda oh my! You must be all over the place, yes I agree if the NHS won’t help you, book in for private scan to put your mind as ease x

Ahh I seem to have dropped off the due date list for some reason? Can someone add me back onto the 20th please?

I've got terrible blocked nose this weekend, never had it so bad before there is actually no air flow moving in my nose and the pressure build up is intense! I've had a cold recently so probably a hang up from that, does anyone know if I can take anything for it? I've popped a wet flannel doused with my toddlers snufflebaby on the radiator - husband says it stinks to high heaven but not even a whiff for me! COVID test negative so can't be that. I don't think I can take anything though due to pregnancy and also still BF the toddler! Arghhh!

I'm due on the 2nd. Had some bleeding at six weeks and had a scan but all we could see was the egg and yolk sack. Waited ten days and went back and have a heartbeat.

@Margo34 aww what a shame, I don’t think the snufflebabe will be strong enough I’d try Sudafed decongestant or anything Vicks, check with the pharmacy though if it’s all safe during pregnancy x

Ladies, I can't decide when to tell my work. I work PT 3 days a week (as have another DC) and am in the kind of job where most days I have patient appointments booked that I can't just cancel. The problem is the appointments - I have a hospital appointment booked this week (which may result in another appointment within a couple of weeks) and then booking appointment bloods will be w/c 21st ish followed by first scan probably 2 weeks later. But already the week of 21st I have stuff booked so I can't just cancel it without telling work I have an appointment. Unfortunately it sounds like my local maternity appointments will be Mondays or Thursdays which I work. I can't really change my days off because of childcare.

No reason not to tell them really, so should I just come clean? It's unusual for me to ask for appointment times off so I think they'll become suspicious.

What are others doing? X

@summerlovingvibes I think by law you don’t have to tell your employer until over half way through but similar to you I plan to tell them quite early on because it’s also very odd for me to take time off, especially to take sick leave which I imagine I’ll have to do a few times because of the exhaustion and sickness symptoms that might occur.
I want to be as positive as possible but if something were to go wrong them knowing means I can take some time to myself.

@summerlovingvibes I told work pretty early, mainly because I teach exercise classes and I was worried I'd have to run out and be sick. Thing is, if something bad was to happen I'd want them to know anyway so better for them to know and do their Risk assessment etc.

Yes I think you're both right. If something bad were to happen then I'd probably take time off anyway. So they may as well know. I've got a normal / monthly review with my manager tomorrow so I might tell her then ... that makes me nervous and excited!
