Just place marking in the new thread ☺️ The nausea is rubbish already and I’m only 6 weeks , so many aversions , falling asleep early and waking up 5 times a night to pee already too , I’m sure that part didn’t come in til way further down the line in my first pregnancy! Ah well, hopefully it will all be worth it come October!!

I know how you feel re work. I'm still on Mat leave, and due back May. My boss is not known to be the most sympathetic, supportive person so absolutely dreading the day that I have to tell them.

Hi - I'd love to join please! I am due 28th Oct, had a MC end of Nov so anxious about the next few weeks and months. I have a DD who is 2. I have been following this thread for a few days and it's lovely to have a group going through the same things :)

@ALonelyGreyCouch we have same edd at the mo too! How old is your little one? Mine is 6 months so there is going to be a 14 month gap between the two 😳

My boss will not be impressed I haven't even been there that long I started September 2020 went on mat leave July 2021. I will get a tonne of comments from staff and parents and tbh with two little ones I'm unlikely to go back after this one. My friend keeps saying they can't do anything but they can make it difficult! I've had to battle for a 4 day a week return and I know there is a lot of animosity around my job role being split out (part timers were asked to pick up more hours/do more days) my initial plan was to return after Feb half term but obviously I'm now not and planning for May so there's been a lot of stress as people are refusing to keep doing the extended hours so from tomorrow to my return I don't know what is happening with my cover. Its awkward isn't it.

Are you going back full time? When are thinking of mentioning to work?

@HRHXO I'm going to wait for an 8weeks scan too because I'm the same as you - it would make me terribly anxious if I didn't see enough. Also in my area the cost is a difference of £35 between 7 to 8 weeks (8w being cheaper) so I figure I'll try and make myself wait the extra week thinking I'll save some money 🤞

@Vie8126 There'll be an 18 month gap between my two which I'm looking forward to. Although they'll be the opposite age in seasons if that makes sense so not sure how useful the clothes I've saved will be. 😂
Think I'll wait to tell work until a couple of weeks before I go back. Should be enough time for the gossip to spread and be old news by the time I'm there. I'm only going back part time, and will probably go back part time after this next one.
Really anxious about this pregnancy though. It's so different from my last one where I was sick continuously for 14 weeks and lost loads of weight. Haven't had many symptoms at all this time around and it's making m a bit worried. Can't wait for the scan to ease my mind a bit.

@alonelygreycouch oh yes so will our two ds was born August but the weather wasn't that great and he wore vests and baby groans etc so could make it work. I had been selling his clothes on as he was the last baby so had to take some listing down and put aside.

I don't have the option for part time hours and don't think we could afford the 1400 a month childcare for 2 if I went back although would only be until ds for 3 year old funding so would be about a year then another 2 years of paying for one. Have to give it some thought!

Fab idea of telling ahead of return so the dust can settle! When do you have your scan? Every pregnancy is different and I'm sure symptoms will hit soon mine only have the last two days and been shocking although I still don't have the dreaded sore boobs just the sickness.

Hi guys I'm so confused about my due date I keep putting it into the calculators online and getting diff results. My last period first day was 10th Jan, the date we conceived was 29th Jan (didn't have sex any other time!) And I've no idea about cycle length as it's been all over the shop since having a baby last year. Anyone know if I'm 5 or 6 weeks pregnant?!

You go from lmp not date of conception because you could have ovulated at anytime and the sperm can live upto five days. So go off your lmp that's what the midwife will use

Had a early scan at 4 weeks 3 days today, to check it wasn't molar again. All looks good so far, rescan in 2 weeks and will hopefully see a heartbeat !

@Lil2020 I had a MC on 30th November and am now pregnant and due 28th October!

Well I think the sickness has started today at 5+3 which seems pretty early as I thought I had until 6 weeks 😩 no vomiting, just nausea since around 11 this morning.
