@HermioneGr Love it! I’m off most food atm but was massively craving a chicken sandwich from McDonald’s and that defo hit the spot went I finally got one. Craving chocolate milkshake this evening.

@Smarsh32 congrats on a successful 12 week scan, must be great to feel like you can relax a bit and enjoy the 2nd trimester.

We’ll done to everyone else who’s had their 12 week scan too. I’m 10 weeks tomorrow and I have an enormous bump today - I look 5 months pregnant. Not sure if it’s a bit of bloating can’t believe no oft has spotted it at work. What do you say if someone asks you if you’re pregnant before you want to share it with everyone?

Had my midwife f2f booking in yest, as I suspected they moved my scan they was not happy leaving it until I could potentially be 14 weeks so it's now Monday 😊 I'll be going on my own though as DP has big big meeting at work and my dm has to look after baby ds but thats OK is what it is!

I had exactly the same as you so I know how you feel. The anxiety is real, and crazy levels. My 12 week scan is Monday, I had one at 10+4 and I'm convinced something's gone wrong - all I'm saying is you're not alone here.

Well ladies, im over the Covid just about, don't want to go through that ever again it was horrendous !! My ds has now got chickenpox, so another week off school for him !
I'm 12 weeks today, it's been the longest time of my life, scan Thursday and starting to feel the anxiety creeping back in. How's every getting along ?

Hi guys has anyone else had absolutely savage headaches? I'm 10 weeks and this is day 5 of hell. Trying not to take too much paracetamol and using head compress and 4head stick...blood pressure is fine.jusy don't know how much longer I can cope with the constant pain. Anyone else had similar? Any tips or remedies welcome. The only thing that seems to help is having a shower or lying in a dark room...but working full time with a 1 yo this is not something I can do all day!

Been for my 12 week scan this morning baby measured 13 weeks. Dates have been all over the place with so many early scans due to bleeding so I’m measuring almost a week ahead but all is looking great so far and Iv also had all girl guesses on the nub. Sickness is still just as bad bur breast are less sensitive so I’m hoping the sickness dies down soon too. Here is a picture of bub. Hope everyone else is doing good

@Dorset555 I have also been suffering from headaches, but more niggly annoying ones I wake up with rather them being so bad I can't do anything and 4head has been helping. They started bang on 10 weeks for me.

I had my 12 week scan today and they've put me at 12+4 (rather than 12+1) which makes my due date 6th October. I also had a private scan on Friday because I wanted to announce my pregnancy on Mother's Day, and she thought the same. I asked for her opinion on the nub on Friday and she reckons girl 🥰 eventful few days but things are all ticking over nicely! Hope you all get good news at your scans 💖

Lovely scans everyone! How are you all feeling symptoms wise now your over 12 weeks?? I've got a scan tomorrow at 10 weeks... not many symptoms so a little bit anxious.

I feel a lot better now, my back pain has eased (to the point where I could paint my toenails this morning 😅), my sickness has mostly gone unless something sets me off, and I just generally feel more myself. I think having the reassurance of my 12 week scan has definitely helped with that, I feel a bit more "zen" now 🤣. Good luck for your scan, let us know how it goes! 🍀

I'm relieved to see so many other expecting mum's are feeling the nerves before the first scan.
I have my scan next week at approx 12+4 (according to my dates). I'm utterly terrified! I keep worrying about there being no heartbeat or progression. Glad to see I'm not alone feeling so nervous x

Hi, I am going trough quite similar nightmares. I will have my 12weeks scan next Wednesday and I just can't shake the feeling that my bean Will show without heartbeat. I am not even feeling pregnant anymore for the last week and all this waiting is just killing me 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

@emmajane90 that's good!! Hopefully the second trimester will be easier for you. I can't really complain symptom wise although the lack of makes me anxious so there's no winning.

@Nico89 I'm exactly the same as you, I've been having regular scans due to history but every time I lay on the bed my heart rate is stupidly high it's awful. I'm sure you will be absolutely fine though, if you cant wait till then there's always private scans for a bit of reassurance x

I'm 12±5 today and really poorly (not covid but cold /cough) got Dr's this afternoon. Woke up and preg symptoms seems to have disappeared including sore boobs. Hoping it's cause I'm ill already and my body is just like no more 😂

Got my scan next Wednesday. I will mention to the Dr's though.

Just got home from hospital the baby has fluid round their neck & head i will be with a fetal medicine team to get to know more about whats going on with my baby. My partner has cried his eyes out never seen him cry

@NorfolkBird I don’t know much about fluid around the baby but I really hope it all ends well for you! How are you feeling?

I’ve suddenly reached a point where brushing my teeth makes me vomit like crazy. I’m 10w +3 and feel like my symptoms are just getting worse, I’m worried that my folic acid isn’t staying down anymore because of this

Had my scan Monday I was 11wk 5 so completely different to my private scan all seems to be changing constantly! I go ahead to Fetal Medicine for nuchal scan next week and hopefully can pin down an exact edd!

@NorfolkBird I think some fluid is normal. Do you mean extra fluid ? This alone doesn't mean anything bad as it becomes part of a combined result with your blood tests, although I know it must be scary for you, was anything else said to you about it ?

My scan is tomorrow, don't think I'll sleep well tonight
