Starting thread #2 as our first is nearly full amazingly!

I’m going to be leaving the group now, just been for my scan and looks like everything stopped at 6 weeks 🙁

@Foxglovesandlilacs86 Welcome! I didn't know there was another either! 9th child wow u have plenty of pregnancy experience u could definitely help us!

Anyone feeling completely different to a previous pregnancy this time round? My son is 4 and I’m sure I didn’t feel this rough in my first trimester before! Morning sickness, didn’t have it at all last time, heart racing when I do simple things like run up the stairs, awful backache at night, does it get better in the second trimester? X

If any1 still suffering with sickness get ginger biscuits works a treat I've not been 🤮 for 2 days

I've gotta say I'm enjoying this pregnancy probably because I'm more mature can't wait 2 feel them move

Congrats to all newcomers.

Had a private scan last week saw heartbeat etc bit of confusion around dates as I thought I was 8wks 5 days they dated me around 7wks 4 and then printed a scan photo that said gestational age 8wks 1 so got home very confused but will stick with my dates and see where we are at on 12 week scan. Hoping they can bring it forward as its at 13wks 6 days and I'm over 40 and read that nuchal has to be done before 14 weeks but if my dates are out the other way it could be too late.

Still feeling massively sick and struggling to even eat. Dp has broken his arm this week and needs surgery so is extra needy and now everything with 7 month old and the house is on me 😩 my final 6 weeks of maternity leave are going to be a joy!

@Vie8126 Thats strange they put u a week behind. I'm going 2 have the downs syndrome test in a few weeks too. Have been told I should take asprin at 12 weeks which I'm happy 2 do. I had terrible back ache last night but I was a busy bee yesterday!

Yes I was, I dont think I posted much on there til right near the end though.I had my youngest he’s only 7 and a half months! How are you doing? X

Also have a 7.5 month old unexpectedly here with no5 but all good now the shock has worn off! How are you? I was the same posting towards the end although I started on July as he was due 31st and born 1st Aug.

@NorfolkBird I'm not that worried as I know it's all so small it's hard to measure and what they said contradicts what they printed! It will all level out I hope. I know my period wasn't any earlier than my date and by there dates meant I got a positive at 3 weeks 🤔 noones mentioned the aspirin to me yet but it was mentioned in my previous pregnancy as I turned 40 during it and the consultant was just like oh it got missed as you started out 39 so wasn't flagged but just don't bother with it now. Hoping when I see midwife in a couple of weeks to iron all these bits out. Oh yes you prob overdid it and everything is all stretchy from hormones so be careful!!

@Vie8126 Yeah u will get it sorted. I'm trying but my work is very physical my back feels warm & achy right now argh!!

@NorfolkBird try a heat pad or hot water bottle when you can rest to see if it eases back ache is the worst!!

@Vie8126 I don't have them i could try my heated seats when I drive home it might help!

Ladies who've already had early scans, is anyone thinking of having another before the 12 week scan? Mine seems so far away and I'm anxious again. I don't know if I should just wait or have another

@thunderonlyhappenswhenits I had one at 9 weeks and it does keep crossing my mind to book another before my NHS scan on the 23rd but my thinking is that I have no reason to worry, I'm feeling sick and my boobs are sore as anything so these are good signs! I also don't want to get into the habit of frequent scanning now in case I want to break up the (much longer) Time between 12 and 20 weeks or 20 weeks and the end!

@thunderonlyhappenswhenits I'm going to wait until 12 weeks unless they call me in to have 1 earlier im getting special treatment because I've had so many loses

Oh my! I've just eaten sausages & chips & the bloating is big today! Don't think ill have dessert
