I'm 9+2 as well !

NorfolkBird · 09/03/2022 14:12

@thunderonlyhappenswhenits Have u had a scan yet? Mine was internal

Yeah I've had two, I had a private one at 8 weeks and was dated 7+6 and then had bleeding a few days later so had a scan at the local epu. Again she told me I was a day behind what I thought so makes me 9+2 today. The first scan was internal but the one at the hospital was abdominal.
Is your 12 week scan booked now ? Mines on the 31st and seems an absolute age away 😆

emmajane90 · 09/03/2022 14:46

@misspinredhill I was exactly like you around the same time you are now, I'd had sore boobs constantly since conception and then it just went away, I booked an early reassurance scan which I had when I was 7+4 and everything was perfect. Highly recommend doing that if you're stressing yourself out over it.

In terms of other symptoms, my sore boobs come and go still, I'm often sick when I brush my teeth, I'm sensitive to some smells and will gag at them, I've got lower back pain that gets worse if I don't move around regularly, I'm craving fizzy drinks and sweet things generally (I've always been more of a fan of savoury things), some stomach twinges in the last couple of days, heartburn on and off, feel the cold easily and feel like I struggle to warm up again, and I'm easily exhausted even if I've had plenty of sleep. I think that's it (🤣). What an absolute joy I must be to live with at the moment 😂

So glad everything is okay!

@thunderonlyhappenswhenits I'm waiting for a call back when to see midwife. Ru being sick at all? Thought I'd got away with it but it started yesterday ffs! I hurt my throat this morning.

NorfolkBird · 09/03/2022 14:58

@emmajane90 I was holding back the tears have cried lots for a few days im a emotional wreck lol

HermioneGr · 09/03/2022 15:31

@misspinredhill I am 7 weeks + 3 days and I have really sore boobs, especially my left one. Awful nausea but as of yet haven't been sick, can't open the fridge it's making me gag. Finding it really difficult to feed my 15 month old because I've gone off food except for rice cakes and cream cheese. All I keep dreaming of during my many trips to the loo for a wee in the night is a double cheese burger. I'm extremely tired and can't be arsed to shower or do anything lol - gross but there we go! Can't wait for this bit to be over because it is very rough, I remember it well from last time

thunderonlyhappenswhenits · 09/03/2022 15:49

@misspinredhill

Please could you give me some advice? What's everyone's symptoms like? I've had sore breasts the last few weeks but this disappeared a few days ago, trying not to get too paranoid but would be helpful to hear what everyone's symptoms are like, I'm 7 weeks today, I was hoping to wait till my 12 week scan but not sure I can last that long
They do come and go definitely, you'll have good days and bad days. I'm 9+2 now and feel okay mostly, but I don't think i suffered bad in the first place compared to some ladies. My main thing in the beginning was feeling sick, I've never been sick and can't see it starting now either as because I said I feel better now than I did do, rarely feel sick these days. The midwife said it's usually in the beginning the sickness is at it's worst. My boobs are swollen/veiny. I've got chapped lips and a dry nose inside. Tiredness and weeing a lot mainly at night. Having on and off cramps. Also getting back ache, again at night. I think for me I just feel drained really, not everyday/all day but it's coming in waves

No haven't been sick once, I've got off quite mildly in comparison looking in here !! I didn't have much sickness with my son all those years ago. But I have felt alot more sick this time but still not suffered terribly.
Hope it isn't the start of bad sickness for you 🤞🏻
How's the bloating for you? Mines really calmed down the last few days, I'm only really bloating at night now after my tea

NorfolkBird · 09/03/2022 17:28

@thunderonlyhappenswhenits I was like that but it suddenly happened! Have got some ginger biscuits. I'm alright once I've eaten. My bloating is bad after I've had evening meal. I just eat more than usual in the mornings.

beths89 · 09/03/2022 18:22

Reading everybody else’s symptoms has made me feel better - sorry! I’m also suffering with nausea, and things like opening the fridge or pantry door is making me heave, along with the smell of the inside of one of my handbags as it was carrying my only edible food of rich tea biscuits at one point and now apparently I can’t stomach them. I thought it was me being extremely sensitive, it’s been really getting me down.
I know there isn’t a magic switch, but from past experience when are these symptoms likely to subside?

NorfolkBird · 09/03/2022 18:31

@beths89 Hmmm it was along time ago I was this far gone 2003 I only started to enjoy being pregnant when I was 6 months 😅

bloodynewusernameagain · 09/03/2022 19:24

Can someone please send me the full facebook link, the ones on here aren't working when you click - just getting redirected to the homepage?! Thanks!

bloodynewusernameagain · 09/03/2022 19:33

Scratch that, the last link works for me now - apols!

Lil2020 · 09/03/2022 20:53

None of the Facebook page links seem to be working for me. If anyone gets a chance could you please send me a link to it?!

misspinredhill · 09/03/2022 21:46

Thank you everyone for all your comments, I think I may just book an early scan to stop me going crazy but it's been useful hearing all the feedback on everyone's symptoms, I have had nausea but thankfully not actually been such so hopefully it stays that way

AmberRH1993 · 09/03/2022 22:35

Evening Ladies, been following along closely. 10w3d today and whispers the nausea has eased a little 🎉 that was until my son woke up with a rotten temperature today and was sick all over the sofa - that was a true test to holding my breath 😂
For those that mentioned the bloating.. Mine is in full force and look 6 months pregnant by bedtime - even asked the sonographer at our early scan to double check there was only 1 baby in there 😂

emmajane90 · 10/03/2022 07:10

Anyone else struggling with going through phases of convincing yourself you don't feel pregnant any more? I'm 9+4 now, I've been for an early scan at 7+4 and seen the heartbeat so I know logically the chance of miscarriage drops significantly after the heart starts beating, plus I've had no signs of miscarriage, and yet I'm STILL convincing myself there's something wrong. The first trimester is so emotionally exhausting!! I think because I'm a size 16/18 and I'm not seeing the early stages of a bump yet due to my size, it's a lot easier for me to get in my own head about not feeling pregnant any more.

NorfolkBird · 10/03/2022 07:33

@emmajane90 Not really i have lots of symptoms. When do u see you're midwife? The 12 week scan will come round soon that will put you're mind at ease Smile

I feel you. I'm really struggling with my anxiety at the moment it's out of control. But I'm suffering in silence as I won't tell my partner as he just doesn't really get it. It's took us 7 years to conceive baby number 2 and I had a mmc after ivf in November so my nerves are all over the place. I'm also feeling much more myself the last few days so of course I'm telling myself the worst.
LondonladyTTC · 10/03/2022 07:44

@emmajane90 yes I know exactly how you feel. I saw the heartbeat at 7+2 and no reasons why anything should be wrong but often I don't feel pregnant. Tiredness os my only symptom at the moment.
