Added myself as 11th October Smile I am utterly terrified of a third loss. Trying to stay positive and keep scanning to reassure myself but recently was told that may not be a great idea if anyone has any insight. Also, how do I join the FB group?

Time for me to be positive and believe this one will work out

Hey... thank you so much for sharing and I am so sorry for your loss.
I am taking the same mindset that I've never gotten this far before and the risk goes down to 2% after 8 weeks with a heartbeat, so I'm just holding onto that!
I don't really notice a hard tummy, but I'm definitely bloated! Have been for weeks and still getting nausea on and off.
Fingers crossed for both of us! Have you had scans yet?

NorfolkBird · 03/03/2022 09:27

@Dreams2727 Yeah I'm praying 4 this 1. I've not had a scan yet but I'm hoping next week. My partner has had twins they're 19 now would be a nice surprise! I've had nausea too but only in the mornings

Yellowdott · 03/03/2022 09:52

@NorfolkBird please could you remove me from the list so I don't get tagged anymore? I was due 10th. Thank you.

@Yellowdott I'm sorry for you're loss 😔

PoopMaster · 03/03/2022 12:29

I'm so sorry for those who have had losses 💐

Had my booking appointment this morning and as soon as they asked how I was I started to cry, I've been holding so much in and trying not to think the worse after last year's mmc but it just came out. I had a massive wobble yesterday after I woke up, exactly 9 weeks and all my bloating/"full" boobs/nausea had just vanished. Today I just feel emotionally drained.

Private scan is booked next week so I just need to keep it together until then, but just finding it so hard Sad

Margo34 · 03/03/2022 14:48

I didn't feel pregnant or bloated the last few days and thought I'd do a test again, just to reassure myself. Going by my LMP and ovulation date, I am 7 weeks today. I picked up a test this morning, CB Digi weeks indicator was the only one they had. Just done it and it says I'm only 2-3 weeks, which means I conceived 2-3w ago and I'm 4-5w pregnant. I got my positive test exactly 3 weeks ago so now I'm panicking.

Is CB digi accurate further along in early pregnancy or should I brace myself for a MMC? Anyone else had any similar experience? I really wish I hadn't attempted to reassure myself now.

Please don't suggest getting an early scan. That's not for me.

Sorry you're feeling anxious. To be honest this is why after a 3+ I stopped myself testing even though it was very tempting. As I was worried I'd see something I didn't like expect. I personally had an early scan which helped me relax, of course I still have my wobbles but I am determined I won't test anymore, not now. Try not to worry, most likely is your urine was quite diluted hence getting that result. Also I don't think they're the most accurate, I seen a lot of posts like this after googling. If an early scan is not for you then unfortunately you're just going to have to wait it out. You could do another test in the morning ?
thunderonlyhappenswhenits · 03/03/2022 15:37

@Margo34 have you previously had a 3+? Some women never get them

Really? I didn't know this

Nikki037297 · 03/03/2022 18:47

@Margo34 it’s complicated but this happened to me once but I was 8 weeks pregnant and my symptoms vanished and I took a test just a normal cheapie and the line was so faint it was barely there!!!! I for sure though I was about to miscarry! I googled it and it said when you get to a certain stage your hormone is very high it confuses the test, if this is the case you need to add as much Tap water to your cup of pee, so it’s half tap water and half pee, this waters down the pee and lowers the hormone form it’s extremely high level, then test this cup of half water half pee. I did this and my line was super dark. I didn’t miscarry and my symptoms returned a few days later I was just having a nice break

Nikki037297 · 03/03/2022 18:50

I’m almost 9 weeks now and for 2 days Iv been feeling really tired, this is the first time Iv felt tired Iv just been really sickly up until now.
Is anyone else suddenly feeling tired??
How many hours sleep is everyone needing also?
I had 10 hours last night and had to drag myself out of bed this morning and Iv already tucked myself into bed now with the dog it’s not even 7pm lol

NorfolkBird · 03/03/2022 20:33

I get 7-8 hrs sleep have had 2 very vivid sexual dreams! Ssshhh don't tell my partner lol I do feel tired now I woke up at 7am wont be asleep til 11 as I'm working atm

Nikki037297 · 03/03/2022 20:36

@NorfolkBird haha I had a few once and my partner seamed so jealous wanted to know all the ins and outs lol. My dreams have mainly been out baby animals, little fluffy rabbits and chicks lol. I’m ready to go to sleep already it’s only 8:30 and my morning sickness is starting back up I just feel sleep is the best place for me most of the time as it’s when I don’t feel sick but it comes on soon after waking up

I've never heard of this before, or that not everyone gets 3w+ either so it is reassuring to hear that it could just be an HCG levels thing. Thank you for sharing your experience. I might just not bother doing another test and park my anxiety for now. Thank you.

Hello and congratulations 👏

I'm exhausted, but my 17m old has a fever this week (3 days now...) so it's hard to separate exhaustion from pregnancy or exhaustion from sleep deprivation 😭

Dreams2727 · 04/03/2022 07:54

@FirstBabyNerves

Hi all, congratulations to everyone. It is nice to read through the thread and see other ladies are feeling exactly like me. I am 40 and am 7+5. I had a MMC in July last year and a CM at the end of December - so I wasn’t sure on my dates. My Doc sent me for scan at 5 weeks and the gestational sac was there but nothing else, had the agonising wait for 2 weeks and there it was - fetal pole and heartbeat 💓 cried my eyes out. It was the same Consultant who had to tell me last July that there was no heartbeat - and he was so lovely. Although I’m so delighted that I seen baby on the scan and heard heartbeat I am so so nervous for the next 5 weeks to get to 12 weeks, would love to just enjoy and stop being so nervous. Smile
Just to stay I've had pretty much the same experience with two miscarriages, July and then November. I'm pretty much where you are now (a few days behind at 8 weeks and 4) - if you ever want to chat, just shout Smile
WinterBaby131 · 04/03/2022 09:23

Hey ladies, hope you're all doing well.
I'm just feeling incredibly low, I think I've worked myself up and I'm just completely overwhelmed now.

I've been getting quite intense cramps no bleeding for the past few days. My doctor has sent me off for an early scan this afternoon. My anxiety is getting too much, I'm finding it really hard to cope.
Could the cramps be due to my anxiety and stress rather than anything physical, if you know what I mean, as theres no bleeding.

If you have any advice on coping I'd appreciate it.

FirstBabyNerves · 04/03/2022 10:08

Hi @Dreams2727 - congratulations 😊 that’s a lovely offer of a chat thank you so much. I’m just 9+1 today - and the weeks are dragging, haven’t received my date for my 12 week scan yet. I have been toying with the idea of a private scan - but I keep telling myself just try and enjoy these next 3 weeks until the next scan. I’m just terrified of going at 12 weeks and it being bad news.
Again thank you for reaching out.
Smile How are you feeling?
