Is anyone bad in the evenings?
If I stand up I start retching, constantly nauseous although not vomiting this time... (lost 1.5 stone in the first trimesters with DC1&2!)
I can only eat crap food at the moment 😫
I'm 7 weeks on Friday- trying to work out whether to have an early scan or not.

I would get your hands on some folic acid asap :) it's super cheap and readily available in any pharmacy or supermarket even. Maybe get some vit D as well xx

Hi everyone, not posted on here in a few days now as I've been feeling so nauseas that I couldn't even think about it. I have also been super constipated but when I finally went this morning I notice some browny/pink tinted CM/discharge when I wiped. I'm 7+4. Not really had any pain just mild cramping and nausea and sore boobs. Hoping it's all alright! Have my booking in app tomorrow and early scan booked for Sunday. Hoping there is no more spotting/tinged discharge because I'm so nervous now!

Lap91 · 02/03/2022 10:20

@HRHXO I had similar a few times around the 5-6 week mark after getting a bit constipated. After some frantic googling it seems like it's fairly common and can just be due to irritating the cervix with the pushing as I understood it. I saw my little bean wriggling around on an early scan this week so hopefully nothing to worry about :)

Vie8126 · 02/03/2022 10:25

Hey everyone hope everyone is doing okay. Sickness is killing me so much I definitely wasn't this bad in my last pregnancy. Booked an early scan for tomorrow night. I originally put my edd as 10th October but my cycles are slightly shorter so think it's more like 8th October meaning I am 8wks 4 today but will see what scan says tomorrow.

ALittleBitofVitriol · 02/03/2022 10:41

Hi everyone I think I might belong here 😱

Complete surprise, dh and I already have 4 kids, the youngest turns 9 this year! I was actually undergoing treatments for suspected early menopause (I'm 37) so... I guess they worked?! I think I'm due around the 13th of Oct. But I'm still a bit in denial, haven't rang anywhere to organise anything yet.

Dh is super excited but under strict instructions to keep it quiet until we have a scan.

Had our scan this morning and saw a little heartbeat! It feels very real all of a sudden!!!

xxfxx · 02/03/2022 13:04

@1stTimeTina same! Baby was tiny but was so nice to see!

thunderonlyhappenswhenits · 02/03/2022 13:27

Congrats on the scans !!
I've just had my 12 week scan come through, another 4 whole weeks to wait ! 😩😆😆

Justawannabemam · 02/03/2022 14:14

Hello everyone

Hoping to join in. Although I think I might be due early November.
So we had IVF and transferred 2 5 day embryos on the 14th Feb. Confirmed pregnant on 26th both bloods at 600. So we don't know yet if we have 1 or 2 babies 🥰 we are off for a 6 week scan on the 11th March.

Anyone else had bloods as high as that which has resulted in twins ? We are prepared for the 2, we transferred 2 bc of my age. This was our 2nd cycle first one was unsuccessful in october. Cant wait to find out.

HermioneGr · 02/03/2022 14:20

Thanks for nausea tips ladies. I have armed myself with ritz crackers, mini cheddars and tuk tuk biscuits. Salty crisps. Lucozade orange is working a treat too!!!

I'm almost 7 weeks and my last pregnancy with my daughter was nothing like this. Maybe it's a boy!

I'm going to dig out maternity outfits as nothing fits.... So bloated I look about 20 weeks pregnant Blush

Vie8126 · 02/03/2022 14:58

@alittlebitofVitriol congratulations! I'm having an unexpected #5 too!!! Although my youngest is 7 months (older 3 much older 21, 17 and 13)

TW... Miscarriage

Hi ladies, with huge regret I will leave this thread. Just over a week ago I had some light bleeding. I booked a private scan where a gestational sac and yolk was visualised but they couldn't see the fetal pole or heart beat. I was told to come back for another scan as it was so early. I waited ten days over which I was still lightly bleeding the whole time but nothing heavy and no pain.

I went back today for another scan and the baby hadn't grown and the sonographer deemed it a missed miscarriage.
I'm sad but with all the bleeding I was expecting it.

I had a hospital appointment tomorrow to decide the next steps.

Mumma1984 · 02/03/2022 17:20

I’m so sorry @HeyDuggeesFavouriteSquirrel lots of love and hugs to you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

So sorry to hear this. The same thing happened to me in November, it crushed me so my heart goes out to you. Please take some time for yourself ❤️
MPlus2 · 02/03/2022 17:51

So sorry to hear @HeyDuggeesFavouriteSquirrel although you expected it, it doesn’t make it any easier. Sending you lots of strength and virtual hugs ❤️

Mamamoo1234 · 02/03/2022 17:51

I’m almost 7 weeks now and I’m a bit worried about how much I’m eating.
I am constantly hungry and every time I feel hunger I feel really sick so I’m eating to stop the sickness but I’m worried that I’ll going to put on way too much weight as I’m eating all the time. Anyone else feeling like this??

Mumma1984 · 02/03/2022 18:04

@Mamamoo1234 I kind of get what you mean, I feel better a tiny bit when I eat so sometimes I’m eating to temporarily stop the nausea and then after I feel really sick! but then other times I just feel sick and don’t fancy eating, I never had nausea with my last pregnancy and it’s really crap! I’ve stayed the same weight but I’m a stone overweight still from my toddler because I was a bit lazy lol so I am worried about how much weight I’ll gain a little bit, my belly has a bump already but my weights stayed the same which is weird ! Is anyone else showing already?

1stTimeTina · 02/03/2022 18:51

@HeyDuggeesFavouriteSquirrelim so so sorry to hear that , it’s heartbreaking, I think a few of us ladies have had previous experiences of miscarriage and I’m happy to answer any questions you have, it can feel like a lovely time but the support on this platform can really help. Take the time you need to heal, and look after yourself , sending lots of love xxxx

ALittleBitofVitriol · 02/03/2022 20:35

@Vie8126 that's wonderful! How did you find having a big gap? Our oldest will be 17 and I'm worried she'll find it weird/be embarrassed!

@HeyDuggeesFavouriteSquirrel, so sorry to hear that. Take care of yourself.

Nikki037297 · 02/03/2022 20:43

@Mumma1984 I am due 8th October too!!!! And also had covid lol. I had it last week when I was 7 weeks, it was more of a heavy cold and very chesty coughing up so much gunk. Also made my morning sickness a million times worse for 3-4 days. I’m still a bit chesty and still can’t smell it taste as normal but I only tested positive for 4 days I’m not sure if that means much but I think maybe I just had a mild version and I just felt so rough because of the pregnancy

Mumma1984 · 02/03/2022 20:47

@Nikki037297 yeh it’s a funny one I had a regular cold that was fine - could of gone to work! but I had 2 nights of night sweats and the tight chest feeling, and then to top it off garlic bread now tastes like washing up liquid! I have health anxiety too thought so I’ve clearly now diagnosed myself with a heart problem that will possibly kill me because that’s how my brain works, even though it’s got much better! 🙄

Nikki037297 · 02/03/2022 20:49

@Justawannabemam my hcg with my last baby went from 94 to over 4000 in a week, which gave it a doubling time of 29 hours, I was sent for a scan immediately once my second blood results came back but it was just 1 healthy baby he’s almost 4 now

Vie8126 · 03/03/2022 05:41

@alittlebitofvitriol they were all horrified to start with lol they absolute dote on their baby brother now though my 13 year old was the most upset as the only girl she was worried I think about being replaced especially as she had always been 'the baby' she is like a 2nd mummy and knows abiut this pregnancy and now hopes for a sister! The hardest thing was dealing with late night pick ups at the weekends and waiting for older drunk kids to come home feeling exhausted. My 17 year old had a first works Xmas do and I had to go out and pick up unexpectedly at 2am after sitting up desperately trying to make contact with him. Then had to deal with the sick and mess and then the baby got up at 5am... A particular wtf moment 😂 but it all makes for funny stories! Will yours be surprised?
