Didn't quite realise we were so close to the end of the second one. Blush So let's have another one! Grin I'll post the due date list in a moment.

Wondering how everyone is getting on now that the wee ones aren't quite so wee any more, and are turning 2!

@Dyra hello. Lovely to hear from you…I can’t believe that almost 2 years have passed! Sophie is doing brilliant. She’s settled into nursery and her little personality is just shining through. She’s such a happy toddler…even more so now that’s she’s consistently sleeping through (she’s only been doing this over the last few weeks!). How are you getting on?

Oh wow. So nice to hear from you.
I'd forgotten about this thread.
Teddy is 2 next weekend and i cannot believe how fast it has gone.
He is a really cheeky funny little man but keeps us on our toes 😂
How are you all doing?

Dyra · 16/03/2024 11:11

We're really good ty! Honestly can't believe it's been 2 years. Still feels like just yesterday.

Max was 2 on Tuesday. He had a great day at the zoo. People ask if we're ready for the terrible twos. I can only reply that we've been in them for over a year already... He's so stubborn and determined. It's been a very different experience from his sister that's for certain.

Fortunately he's been a good sleeper (other than that hellish 6 weeks) pretty much since birth. He was a late walker in the end. He walked in late July at pretty much 17.5 months exactly. Just as I was starting to think about contacting the health visitor. He's very sociable. A bit physical (he got kicked out of the baby room early because of it), but mostly overly friendly physicality rather than aggressive. Though he does hit us. He's a decent talker. Definitely a far cry from his sister at the same age.

His noisy breathing has only just stopped... We've been on and off with ENT and they finally put a scope down him. Just as the consultant was saying young children are usually really good at keeping their voice boxes clear of secretions we see Max's absolutely covered. Apparently it's a feature not a bug with Max. Just need to encourage a cough if he gets bad again, and he should grow out of it eventually. Glad to put a full stop on it at least.

Glad Sophie is finally sleeping through. It's the best. Long may it continue! And that Teddy is doing well. Hope they enjoy their birthdays!

So lovely to hear from you all. Our little lady is 2 on Monday. No idea where the time has gone. Feels like we were just planning her 1st birthday party.

Shes doing great though. Had pretty much every illness from nursery. Covid, conjunctivitis, hand foot and mouth. She even had to be tested for measles but thankfully was negative. Its been an experience!

Shes just about to move out of the baby roo. At nursery and I'm so not ready haha

Glad all the little ones are doing well

Our little one is turning 2 next Saturday. I can’t believe it’s been 2 years! He’s such a wonderful little boy - so chatty and loving.

Lovely to read some updates on your little ones. We’re just thinking about starting to try for number two. Anyone else in that process/pregnant/thinking about it?

Dyra · 31/03/2024 15:08

Lovely to hear from you Derbee. Best of luck TTC!

We are done. I originally wanted a third, but time, my husband, and Max himself has somewhat dampened my desire. I inch ever closer to 40 as well, which was my own cut off point too.
