Hello,

Just found out we are pregnant after 13 months of trying - based on last period will be due august 19th.

Any others with similar time like to join to support one another?

Aaaand, there it is, blood. Just a bit of spotting so far so maybe nothing, but I just so want a healthy pregnancy this time and this has unsettled me.

Don't suppose there's much point ringing the GP yet if it stays at just spotting? I have a call from midwife tomorrow anyway.

@CoalCraft, please try not to panic but I know it’s easier said than done.

It’s quite common for women to spot/ bleed in pregnancy. Just take it easy, rest as much as you can and tell the midwife tomorrow, they’ll probably send you to the EPU? You could go there yourself today maybe?

@CoalCraft as Pearldrops says, try not to panic. You said you had bleeding on and off with your DD all the way through and I was exactly the same with my DS. No cause was ever found for it.
I've already had 4-5 days of spotting with this pregnancy and they put me on progesterone pessaries right away. Perhaps ask the GP today (or if not, the midwife tomorrow) if they can sort this for you as well as an early scan given your previous problems.

@Beth262 actually I hadn't considered pessaries, just sort of assumed there'd be nothing anyone could do. I'll see if I can get hold of the GP today (can be a challenge 🙄 )

Spoke to the GP, she's going to ring the epu for me and see what they say. She's uncertain what they'll say due to the confusion over how far along I am.

Sorry to keep posting, I found it soothing to get this stuff out there somehow.

The GP kindly booked me in with the EPU for 30th Dec. The reason for the delay is that they want to be sure I'm at least six weeks. By my reckoning (guess) I'll be exactly six weeks on the day.

Fingers crossed a happy little bean is seen.

Ah bugger guys, I think I'm out. Some bleeding just now and a test today that is as white and negative as it possibly can be :(
Second month this has happened now :(

Very cautious hello from the IVF thread. Due date is 25th August. my HCG began really low but has now gone up to 228 but I'm still scared.

Think I'm out. 16dpo and BFP on Friday on cb digital. Decided to use other test up and tested tonight and it's a not pregnant. Followed up with cheapy tesco stick and only one line. Still no period but thinking now a chemical :(

Hey, would like to join too. According to the calculator I'm due 14th August. First baby so not really sure what to expect!! Boobs are HUGE and getting nauseous through the night annoyingly. First doctor appointments not till mid Jan. I can't believe I have to wait so long! Good luck to you all❤

Hey ladies! Hope it's ok to join? Firstly I am so sorry to those who have had bad news! 🥲 I have just found out I'm pregnant, due 21st Aug, currently still on maternity leave with my 9 month old daughter so they will be 18 months apart! Wish me luck! 🤪 x

I phoned the booking number today so got my first appointment with my midwife on the 19th Jan then scan is booked for 9th Feb. Was going to wait till after Xmas to phone but as some of u have said about delays thought it best to phone and book in. Hope everyone is feeling ok. 🤞 x

Hi I’m due 1 aug I was diagnosed with a subchoronic hemorraghe two weeks ago i had bleeding 4 days then nothing a little bit of spotting I’m going for a scan today to check but has anyone else been suffering with headaches I have a constant one

I haven't had any more yet (luckily) have had enough though. Phoning the drs this morning as I'm going to have to take something for my anxiety. I just can't do this. I've started stomach clenching because I'm so stressed and I'm so worried I'm going to miscarry because of it.

I have some diazepam up in the cupboard which always sorts me out if my anxiety gets bad but it says you shouldn't take it in pregnancy unless the risks to the mother outweigh the risks to the foetus.

Going to see what the dr says. This has honestly been the most anxious awful week and I should be happy and excited and instead I'm a nervous wreck!

All my tests are positive my clear blue says 3+ still
