Any others with similar time like to join to support one another?

Hi everyone, can I join please? Based on my last period I am 5 weeks and due around the 19th August! 🥰
I have a DD who has just turned 4. No real symptoms as yet apart from my boobs feel heavy when I take my bra off at night. 🤣
Feeling a bit anxious but trying to tell myself that's normal. X

Digby86 · 17/12/2021 16:32

Can I join too ladies? App tells me approx due date of 25 Aug. Only found out today! This is our first pregnancy so I’ve no idea what I’m doing and don’t think it’s really sunk in to be honest.

Littlebutload · 17/12/2021 16:33

@beth262 thanks for your support and I am so sorry to hear about your mc's, that must be so tough. I totally get what you mean about being 'meh' to the positive test!

surprised12 · 17/12/2021 16:33

@Littlebutload

Hi everyone, can I join? Just found out a few days ago I'm pregnant after a MC at 9 weeks in the summer. I'm trying not to get to excited and manage my expectations, I think I am going to be worried the whole pregnancy. I am going to book in to see my consultant for the second week in January when I will be 8 weeks for a scan.
Ahh I feel for you - I think we are both in a similar situation and I know it's super hard.

I'm just trying to relax and just hope this time it works out for the best.

Mufflette · 17/12/2021 16:34

Hello, also joining! First time for me too, due around 22nd August. Feeling very sick and my bra is already too tight Grin

Congratulations! And welcome to the rollercoaster 😂

Welcome everyone @Digby86 @dancingonmars @Devvy @Glago2017 @Mufflette and congratulations!

Our first too so not really sure what to expect or how should be feeling now.

@surprised12 exactly i don't think I can wait that long either. 8 weeks will be first week new year so thinking that would be a nice start to the year

Thanks @ksc912. It's actually quite reassuring to know others also don't really know what they should be feeling, I wasn't prepared for the amount of second guessing whether I should be worried or pleased about any little thing!

surprised12 · 17/12/2021 19:38

I've only been pregnant once, I'm 31. I was pregnant earlier in the year and I had an early NHS scan at 6 weeks due to pains.

Booked a private one at 12 weeks and that's the scan that highlighted I was having a missed miscarriage.

In a way, I'm glad I booked the private scan, because my 12 week scan was delayed due to covid back log, so I would have been another 3 weeks away from finding out.

This time I'm just going to try and let nature take its course and not overthink. As long as I'm taking care of myself, and not worrying too much - I think whatever is going to happen, will happen.
Obviously I'd be devastated if something bad happened - so fingers crossed all works out okay for us all :)

surprised12 · 17/12/2021 19:39

Does anyone else think it's the hardest thing in the world not to tell anyone about it??

Rainmother · 17/12/2021 20:01

Ah I'm due 24th August according to dates, so would like to join! Tired and grumpy, sore boobs and lower back pain are my symptoms so far .... I have 1 DS who is 2 years 8 months, but that pregnancy seems ages ago! So I can't remember exactly how I felt then.

Spottybutterfly · 17/12/2021 21:22

I'm so queasy and sick, at 5w+5. I don't know if I can do this. I'm so scared if miscarrying and going through all this sickness for nothing.

Jhodd · 17/12/2021 21:45

Hi all!
Congratulations 🥳
I found out yesterday I’m expecting #2 after a previous eptopic in sept this year.
Totally shocked and riddled with anxiety!
Due date atm 27th august.
We plan on telling everyone Christmas Day. As we want the support if the worst was to happen again.
Hope everyone’s feeling okay! Can’t wait to ride the rollercoaster with you all x

Dormouse76 · 17/12/2021 21:53

Would love to join this group having found out yesterday I'm pregnant after trying for over a year and doing ivf with an egg donor. Due date is 20 August

Dormouse76 · 17/12/2021 21:53

Anyone else feeling absolutely e exhausted?

MotherHaryy · 17/12/2021 22:54

Hello, Can I join too?

Found out yesterday I'm pregnant, did 6 tests just to be sure. I think I'm due somewhere around 13-20th of August. I know that's quite a window!!

Currently having some tummy cramps, somewhat like period pains, have had them for two days now!

Good luck everyone!💐

Digby86 · 18/12/2021 06:35

@surprised12 yes! I’m so excited I want to tell basically everyone - you know, random strangers in the street, the next door neighbour 🤣 But also it’s kind of nice just us knowing while we get used to the idea

@Dormouse76 I am barely functioning I’m so wrecked. Have been using my lunch breaks to take a nap for the last week! And even then I’m finding it a struggle to get through an afternoon. How far along are you? I’m hoping this passes quite quickly.

ksc912 · 18/12/2021 08:07

@surprised12 oh crikey I didn't realize there was such a delay. Makes me a bit anxious. That's understandable given what you've been through. I find the not overthinking the hardest part - any tips are welcome 🙈

Yep want to tell everyone @Jhodd I'm sane as you will tell immediate family as would go to them if anything happened.

There with you with those symptoms @Rainmother @MotherHaryy

Hi @Dormouse76 that's amazing congratulations. I've been tired but also struggle to sleep 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm impressed by your ability to power nap at lunch @Digby86

I'm finding that although I'm tired, I can't sleep! And had a bit of "lightning crotch" last night already, which was a bit worrying, but a Google search brought up a different forum which had women posting the same thing in very early pregnancy, so that's a relief. Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend!

I'm due August 22nd!! Grin I've moved to maternity bras already, I sleep in them too and it's made life so much easier!
rosesarereddish · 18/12/2021 20:09

Can I join, I literally just got my BFP. Going by last period I'm due August 22nd. I'm so nervous Grin

Kelly101810 · 18/12/2021 20:39

Hi all!
Would love to join. Due around 8th august, booked an early scan for the 22nd December, just couldn’t hold out another 5 weeks as I don’t think my first hospital appointment will involve a scan? Feel totally unprepared, first baby, feeling non stop nausea but not been sick, would love advice from the mums on this channel!

rosesarereddish · 18/12/2021 20:57

I had HG in my last pregnancy, that didn't go away until I started taking cyclizine so I'm tempted to mention when booking in that I want to take it from the start. It took weeks for cyclizine to really work for me as I couldn't keep it down long enough. I'd rather pre-empt it..

SantiagoSister · 18/12/2021 23:27

Hi all, I’d like to join if that’s ok 😊 due August 10th, very anxious due to previous loss but hoping things might turn out differently this time 🤞🏼

mamaof2girls · 19/12/2021 08:37
