So. Today i am 8w pregnant (deffinately pregnant as all blood tests confirm. But, i have now had 3 scans, all transvaginal, and they cant find my baby.

They were testing me for ectopic but said with my HCG levels its starting to look unlikely its that.

Im due for another scan at 8w5d and hoping to find someone whos had a similar situation who can give me some hope.

Im really hoping they can find a little heartbeat in there somewhere!

So sorry for your loss, OP, and for the further complications. Flowers

I hope you get out of hospital and back to normal soon. It must be very hard to go from happily pregnant to hospitalised and under investigation in such a short time. Flowers

@KJE3112

Hi guys, not sure whos left that will read this but, me and my partner both decided that the evacuation was the best way to go. Unfortunately, during the procedure i bled out alot and ended up having to stay the night in the hospital with a 30ml balloon in my uterus. Ontop of that, theyve also found something abnormal on my cervix and i will have to go back in 6 weeks time to find out what that is, and its just a waiting game for my molar pregnancy results, although they were sent as emergency due to my situation, so hopefully wont take too long. If that comes back positive theyve said they want to do more follow up tests on me too. Unfortunately its going to be at least a few months before were allowed to consider trying again, and im led in bed, in pain, with horrible hospital stockings on, not allowed to do anything due to the complications, and just kinda feeling sorry for myself. But, overall wanted to thank everyone for their support and sharing their experiences with me, it really has helped me through all this, so thank you.
I'm very sorry for your loss and situation. Please look after yourself.

So sorry to read your update.

However thanks to this pregnancy the issue with your cervix has been identified, which is really positive as you may have been asymptomatic for a long time... resulting in more serious complications.

Rest well

Just found out back on the 13th, from a swab that was taken, the doctors found out i had an infection. They just posted me a prescription for amoxicillin that i now need to go and pick up. Great to know over a week later, and after i just had a procedure, apparently i didnt need to know back then or something i guess.

@Overthinker87 you need to make your own new thread lovely xx

GinnyBee · 09/11/2021 08:35

@Overthinker87 I'm no doctor, but those hCG numbers don't look alarming to me. They're supposed to double every 48 to 72 hours and the results from 4th and 8th are still within that range :) In fact, I found this on a website: "Between 1,200 and 6,000 mIU/ml serum, the hCG usually takes about 72-96 hours to double"

www.babymed.com/tools/hcg-calculator

Overthinker87 · 09/11/2021 09:58

I read that too! (Ok I’ll learn how to make a new thread- sorry! The trouble is 4th to 8th is really 86 hours… hmmm. I’ll do another blood test tomorrow and see. (I’m a normal person but this pregnancy thing has turned me crazy I swear- I’m anxious 100% of the time!) ok let’s see tomo hcg level. I’ll start a new thingy too xx sorry
