Hey I'm only 10dpo but just got a faint positive 2 days ago and has been getting darker so hoping this is real. I calculated and I'm due June 1/2nd.

Anyone else due the same time as me? Want to hang out and keep me company I know it's early days.

Hey all! Hope you don’t mind if I join?!

Got my first bfp a couple of days ago with estimated due date 14th June eeek! It so strange as been ttc for a few months now and had previously been symptom spotting and convincing myself I was pregnant, whereas this month I literally said to myself tbh if it didn’t happen for a while that’s okay… and it did I’m so happy!

How is it going for you? This is baby #1 for me and feel like I’m very worried about anything happening so soon as only in 5th week. The evening I found out I felt a bit nauseous and the day after tbh and I suffer from migraines and had a bad one all day, but today I didn’t feel really nauseaous or anything at all. Even peeing 20 times a day was reduced yday… idk I think I’m overthinking I know not every day is the same but always that concern for me

Jammymare · 09/10/2021 07:28

Hello, I’m joining after testing last night. I think I’m due around 16th June according to the NHS calculator. Complete surprise as I only had my coil removed in August and we hadn’t been properly trying yet. I was convinced it would be 6 months+ as I’m in my mid thirties, but must be a honeymoon baby 🙈
My only symptoms are sore boobs and a bit of nausea when I first wake up.
I’m clueless about what to do next, I’ve not got any baby/parenting books as I didn’t want to jinx it so now I’m a little bit anxious about it 😬

Hi do you mind if I join?

I'm 5 weeks today and due June 11th. Know it's very early days! Have barely any symptoms which is worrying me!! X

AlbatrossSociety · 09/10/2021 08:29

Hi all, it's nice to read everyone's experiences. I got a positive test this morning, apparently makes me due June 16th! Absolutely hasn't sunk in and doesn't feel real at all, I've not had any symptoms except a twinging cramp that I thought meant I was going to come on my period!

@Jammymare in the exact same position! Had the implant out in August and we were giving it a few months to give my cycle a chance to regulate, I was convinced it would take a year or so and now I feel quite blindsided!

Tofu35 · 09/10/2021 08:51

@iloveoreos here are some-

and also from same woman

All say the same things about feeling tired, sick, bloated and food aversions but it's nice to hear other women say it 😂

alittlebitofsparkle35 · 09/10/2021 09:12

Hi everyone! Hope you don't mind me joining. Congrats to everyone on here Daffodil I found out last week that I was pregnant and today am 4 weeks Grin We got married at the end of August so it's kind of a honeymoon baby!

According to the NHS calculator I'm due 17th June!! We are absolutely over the moon but I can't help but feel anxious. So scared for if something happens. I'm 35 and it's my first. Had a fair few symptoms already.

Was wondering if anyone had any advice about telling people? It's just me and my HB who know so far but I'm driving myself a bit mad with worry about everything already...has anyone else told a close friend or family member so early? I don't know whether to tell my auntie who I'm very close to as someone to talk to when I'm worrying about things!! Also wondered people's thoughts on early scans?! Called my GP and they've just booked me a phonecall with the midwife at 8 weeks...

Thanks for any advice you can share and good luck to everyone on here xxx

Bridgey8 · 09/10/2021 09:36

@alittlebitofsparkle35 congrats! I am in a very similar boat to you as got married in June and now 5 weeks pregnant. Didn't think it would happen so soon as I am 36! I've told my best friend but that's it... only because she knows me so well that she practically guessed when she saw me. She knows it's super early so might not stick so am not telling anyone else until further down the line. I'm deffo thinking about an early scan just to put my mind at rest either way. I hardly have any symptoms so keep second guessing anything is in there at all!!! Xxx

Glenpatrick · 09/10/2021 09:38

Joining in! My second baby, got my positive 8 days ago and due the 7th June. My son will be 2.5 when baby arrives so should be an ok age gap! Feeling a bit crampy/uncomfortable last night and this morning but do remember that from my 1st too so taking it as easy as I can with a toddler 😅

We told immediate family (parents and siblings) on Sunday when I was 5 weeks. We found out on the Friday but I wanted to do a few more tests and when the clear blue digital came up on the Sunday felt it was ok to say it?!

Glenpatrick · 09/10/2021 09:42

@alittlebitofsparkle35 I had a paid for early scan the first time around, felt we wanted to know (even though obviously had the positive tests!) that something was there before we told anyone. It was at about 6.5/7 weeks I think. We’ve moved country so different health system here and we’ve gone private where they give a scan at 7 weeks, if they weren’t I def would have gone for another early scan somewhere else too

PartyPotato · 09/10/2021 09:56

Got my scan booked for 29th October when I’ll be 8 weeks 😁 might tell family and close friends a week or two after that.

DaimDillyDoo · 09/10/2021 10:52

So tired constantly at the minute! Need a nap and only woke up 2 hours ago

Leilei95 · 09/10/2021 11:03

I just have constant headache at the moment. My boobs aren’t that sore but bit more sensitive than usual. For me it’s the insomnia, I wake up in the middle of the night and then it takes me 3/4 to go back to sleep :/

Coco90 · 09/10/2021 12:50

@Iloveoreos I’m the other way, I have an overactive thyroid and they swapped my meds as soon as I told them I was TTC. I’m under endocrinology already. Haven’t yet told them I’m pregnant yet but I think they’ll monitor my bloods more regularly etc

Coffeepants · 09/10/2021 13:23

Insomnia here too!
And then feeling exhausted by 8pm

alittlebitofsparkle35 · 09/10/2021 17:18

Thanks for your advice @Glenpatrick @Bridgey8

Congrats to you too! I'm thinking of maybe just telling my auntie for at least someone to talk to and no one else just yet. @Glenpatrick I was the same when I used the clearblue digital...had some faint lines before that one but seeing the words pregnant made it all the more real!!

I've been looking online for early scans so we'll see how I feel in a couple of weeks. If anyone has any recommendations for any scan clinics in north wales or the north west please let me know Grin xx

alittlebitofsparkle35 · 09/10/2021 17:20

@Leilei95 @Coffeepants Similar for me too! Not quite insomnia but really restless sleep, bonkers vivid dreams and waking up super early!!

AlbatrossSociety · 09/10/2021 17:47

I was actually the same @alittlebitofsparkle35 and @Glenpatrick, got a couple positives earlier in the week but negative on clear blue, but finally got the word pregnant this morning and it made it feel so much more real for some reason! The positives I got were on sainsburys tests and I Googled and apparently they have lots of false positives so then I convinced myself it wasn't really true. Still not sure when it will sink in, I did have a really vivid dream the other night but didn't know that was a symptom!

Iloveoreos · 09/10/2021 17:52

@coco90 thats good to know thry swapped it immediately.

Ill find out next week if ill get endocronologist referall now or after midwife 8 week appt

Iloveoreos · 09/10/2021 17:53

Ladies who already have kids here.. did any of you get scan done early 6 week? I kno they wil see the sac but will they see heartbeat too? I have booked scan for early 6 week but thinking if I should move to end of 6 week instead .

SylvanasWindrunner · 09/10/2021 18:35

Hello!

Just found out today I'm expecting our second. DD was born in Feb 2019. Due around June 20th but will be having a section so will be a little earlier!

Making most of next two weeks, as that's when I'll start to feel like poop for the rest of first trimester!

Prema11 · 09/10/2021 18:56

Hey, anyone still in this thread? I’m due June 1st!

Prema11 · 09/10/2021 19:00

Oh sorry I was only looking at the first page 😄 Congrats everyone!

Coffeepants · 09/10/2021 20:03

Anyone else feeling really meh? Needed a nap today and feeling a bit nauseas at times, seems to settle with food. Had no morning sickness in previous pregnancies so this is odd to me.

Prema11 · 09/10/2021 20:07

Hey Coffeepants, yep, I basically have to eat constantly at the moment or I start feeling sick. And I’m very tired, usually in bed by 9pm!

rathernotshare · 09/10/2021 20:26

I'm ready for bed 😁 not unusual for me though if I'm being honest hahaha
