Hey I'm only 10dpo but just got a faint positive 2 days ago and has been getting darker so hoping this is real. I calculated and I'm due June 1/2nd.

Anyone else due the same time as me? Want to hang out and keep me company I know it's early days.

@SylvanasWindrunner snap! My first born was feb19 and just found out we’re pregnant with number two!! Exhausted already, slight bit of nausea but guna make the most of the next two weeks before it gets really bad (assuming it’s like last time)

I didn’t tell anyone last time except my bestie but this time I’m guna be more open about it, just because I think it’s so sad people feel they shouldnt tell people when really it’s when you need the most support x

Iloveoreos · 09/10/2021 21:09

Hows eating pattern ladies? . Im finding it hard to eat my evening meals. Breakfast, lunch , random snacks is all ok but evening meal /dinner time i feel so full.

DaimDillyDoo · 09/10/2021 21:17

@Iloveoreos I'm starting to go off certain things, didn't fancy breakfast or dinner but managed to eat toast and some rice/chicken.

I'm trying to snack a lot to keep on top of the nausea Envy

Leilei95 · 09/10/2021 21:19

@Coffeepants at the moment I have more energy I think, I just some twinges now again, nausea completely gone for now which is unusual right? Just under 5 weeks, I have noticed lack of appetite more though.. everyday feel like it’s a new feeling and symptoms lol

Iloveoreos · 09/10/2021 21:20

@daimdillydoo yeah I think increasing snacks and fruits will have to makeup for decreased appetite at meal times. Green apples taste lovely at the moment 🤣

JenniferR2021 · 09/10/2021 21:21

I'm due round about 14th June all going well

Skinnymuffins · 09/10/2021 21:30

@Iloveoreos we had a scan to determine dates as there was a lot of spotting, was 5-5.5 weeks, was told that heartbeat wouldn't be detectable until 6 weeks so we're booked for another scan at 7 weeks. Hope all goes well ☺️

Haha, I feel a bit like a dead man walking right now as I feel fine but I know I'll soon feel like shit so I'm just going to try get as much done the next two weeks as I can: get work under control, make sure house is clean and decluttered, do some batch cooking, DH is taking some holiday to help look after DD. Then I'll just focus on surviving until first trimester is over!

The first time round I didn't really know how shit I would feel and also that it would last until around 13 weeks, so it feels like I know too much this time! There's something to be said for ignorance!

SylvanasWindrunner · 09/10/2021 21:34

@Iloveoreos

Ladies who already have kids here.. did any of you get scan done early 6 week? I kno they wil see the sac but will they see heartbeat too? I have booked scan for early 6 week but thinking if I should move to end of 6 week instead .
I had a scan at 6+4 with my first baby. They did see a heartbeat and it was just abdominal, but the sonographer thought it had only just started beating a couple of days prior. If you want to see the heartbeat, I'd move to the end of the week to be sure, if you're sure of your dates.
Iloveoreos · 09/10/2021 21:41

@SylvanasWindrunner ive had it booked for 6+2 as that particular time slot was convenient but ill move it to 2 3 days ahead i think.

scoutcat · 10/10/2021 07:24

Hello everyone! Hope I'm ok to join! TW: loss.

I've just had a positive test result this morning! Our first month of trying after a miscarriage in August. This will be our second baby - fingers crossed! Due on the 23rd of June as far as I can tell!

AlbatrossSociety · 10/10/2021 07:59

@scoutcat congratulations on your positive test and sorry to hear about the mc. How old is your dc? Flo thinks my due date would be 25th June and mumsnet calculator thinks 19th - it seems to keep changing!

Had the weirdest dreams last night and kept waking up, now have a headache and just want to go back to bed but I can't fall asleep again! I can't tell if it's because I'm worrying about stuff or just a very early symptom!

rathernotshare · 10/10/2021 08:27

@AlbatrossSociety I woke up about 5 times last night and had so many nightmares!

I am still cramping like mad, is anyone else? I still feel like AF is coming imminently at 5+2

Clomid1 · 10/10/2021 09:09

@rathernotshare same, you only need to worry if the pain massively intensifies or is combined with bleeding. But yes the cramping stresses me out and I am forever running to the bathroom to check for blood

sunflower198 · 10/10/2021 09:47

@rathernotshare I'm the same with cramping. It's been really strong for the past 2 weeks. Last night was quite painful and I couldn't get warm - I went to bed super early. Really hoping the cramping stops soon!

Chloesen90 · 10/10/2021 10:06

@rathernotshare @sunflower198 I'm also getting bad cramping and stabbing pains. Doesn't last too long so I'm trying not to worry. It's still not nice when I've only had this when AF is arriving so it's hard not to panic! I'm 4+3 and I've read it can last a while! It's reassuring to know other people are experiencing the same thing though and that it's normal SmileDoesn't matter how many times google tells me it's normal I still worry!!

AlbatrossSociety · 10/10/2021 10:10

Really reassuring to read that this is normal!! My husbands away and I was lying on the sofa last night really cramping and worrying I'd come on my period this morning. I also took another pregnancy test this morning just to make sure - I wonder when I'll believe it enough to actually accept it's real!!

I think part of it is self preservation because I'm worried about something going wrong

PartyPotato · 10/10/2021 10:15

I’m really jealous of all the people whose appetites have shrunk… mine is through the roof 😂

SylvanasWindrunner · 10/10/2021 10:17

Cramping is totally normal! As long as the pain isn't severe, it's just your uterus stretching and things going on in there.

Coffeepants · 10/10/2021 10:19

@PartyPotato same here!

scoutcat · 10/10/2021 10:21

@AlbatrossSociety thank you! My son is 3 years and 4 months! I know, each calculator works differently don't they! Crazy we have to wait until the scan to get a proper due date!

AmICrazy36 · 10/10/2021 10:25

Congratulations on all your positives lovely and welcome ❤️

rathernotshare · 10/10/2021 10:35

Thanks ladies, glad I'm not alone in the cramps! It's hard to know what's a worrying level really but seems we're all in the same boat

scoutcat · 10/10/2021 10:37

My cramps are always so different to menstrual cramps - always in my lower back rather than my belly!

I always find them reassuring this early.

Turniptracker · 10/10/2021 11:04

Hello wanted to join too! 5 weeks with my first and I just feel like total trash. I've had an upset stomach since implantation and I'm finding it exhausting Sad. Only found out yesterday and feeling like knowing has triggered additional symptoms like exhaustion which I think are psychosomatic. Bit concerned I was busting my ass on the cross trainer on Friday before I found out, hope that won't cause problems
