Hey I'm only 10dpo but just got a faint positive 2 days ago and has been getting darker so hoping this is real. I calculated and I'm due June 1/2nd.

Anyone else due the same time as me? Want to hang out and keep me company I know it's early days.

@PeeAche yeah killing my battery with excessive googling lol

Clomid1 · 19/10/2021 15:53

@MrsNT No this was the prior miscarriage but don’t panic when they measured me I was at the correct measurement and there was no more brown. I miscarried a week later but I knew I was about to miscarry because the cramps felt like I was pushing a baby out it was honestly so bad I started shaking.

Like @PeeAche if you’re not cramping thats an amazing sign because the major sign before my miscarriage was how severe the cramps were.

Elsols93 · 19/10/2021 16:20

Clear blue digitals will be the death of me! Anybody else obsessed with seeing it go up? I took one Sunday morning and got 2-3 weeks at 4+6, I’ve just took another at 5+1 and it says the same! Am I expecting too much?

HWka · 19/10/2021 16:33

@PeeAche thank you so much for the data calculator! Just what I need for those anxious thoughts!!

Yes you are! Girl, you have GOT to step away from the digitals. They will drive you insane. I used to obsess over them. Did my levels increase over the course of weeks before both miscarriages? Yes. Did this raise my hopes and give me a sense of control? You betcha. Did they drop right before my miscarriages? Did they predict anything? Did they actually help? Not on your nelly.

Honestly, they're not any good for this. Everybody's hormones vary. Frankly, I'm starting to think these things should be removed from the market.

floofycroissant · 19/10/2021 17:14

4+6 with my first, officially a geriatric pregnancy Hmm which doesn't make me feel particularly great.

caz198917 · 19/10/2021 17:35

7 weeks 2 days today and feel so nauseas all the time! And the smells! Jeez, have me retching just thinking about opening the fridge or the bin! I'm off all cooked food. Cereal and toast I can manage. Anyone the same? I don't remember it being this bad with my first xx

Seabreeze2 · 19/10/2021 18:10

I’m 6 weeks tomorrow and dreading what’s ahead as I’ve been unwell all today. Just feeling soo nauseous but haven’t actually been sick (but do have diarrhoea). Was really hoping to be one of those women that sails through without being ill 😞. I’m off quite a few foods, I attempted stir fry last night - never again, I think that’s what’s made me so ill today. I can manage dry food in small amounts.

Anyone else’s stomach feel like they’ve been doing sit-ups for days, lol? So bloated but constant aching. X

CurryandSnuggle · 19/10/2021 18:28

@Seabreeze2 oh gosh, I’m feeling really nauseous and off everything as well! But when the nausea subsides I only fancy junk food (chips, curry, cake lol). Nightmare!! We have Gousto which I normally swear by, but I just want plain basic stuff at the minute.

1stTimeTina · 19/10/2021 18:28

@MadamMaltesers I had this where my symptoms suddenly stopped in my first pregnancy , and if it helps everything was fine and I now have a happy healthy two year old! I was very worried at the time so completely understand the worry! But there are positive outcomes too :)

I’ve had some more bleeding, booked in for an early scan next week to check everything, MW wanted to do Thursday this week but I can’t , it’s guna be a painful wait til Tuesday, just hope the bleeding stops :(

CurryandSnuggle · 19/10/2021 18:29

DH is currently cooking up a veggie ramen but I want a baked potato…. Grr

Coffeepants · 19/10/2021 18:34

So I’ve told my partner, he was thrilled. Now need to contact a midwife. I am nervous about a VBAC after EMCS and would much rather just go ELCS as had a long drawn out labour last time, failed to progress, needed antibiotics for myself and babies and was the c section was such a pleasant and calm experience. Anyone else in a similar boat? My only symptoms are sore and big boobs, slight waves of nausea which leads me to eating salt and vinegar crisps!

Unarosaes · 19/10/2021 18:36

@CurryandSnuggle I feel you! I just want to eat crap all day. And tons of it. I had a healthy lunch with plenty of veg in it and had horrible heartburn all afternoon. So I think I am going yo indulge and just have white bread and pasta all day and every day Cake

MrsNT · 19/10/2021 18:36

Spoke to gp..she was reluctant in reffering Angry but after I repeatedly said I am concerned she said she will do it. So now waiting to get call from EPU

MrsNT · 19/10/2021 18:38

Whats with gps and not reffering ahead..its not like the money for scans /consultants is coming out of the gp's own pocket! Really anmoying

CurryandSnuggle · 19/10/2021 18:47

@Coffeepants I’ve been thinking about this too. An elective section is beneficial as we’ll have an exact date (we have no nearby family to look after our son so having that certainty will help with arranging childcare) but I know I will be out of action for a while after. I really would love to experience a vaginal birth but I was scared and panicking last time, and my son got stuck at 9cm dilated and his head swelled so I needed EMCS anyway. I worry that if I do VBAC I may just need an EMCS again anyway, plus scared at the thought of possible scar rupture!!! Terrifying. I know it’s rare but I don’t know if it’s a risk worth taking just to experience what it’s like to have a vaginal birth…

CurryandSnuggle · 19/10/2021 18:50

@Unarosaes I feel you, although trust me your future self will be grateful if you don’t eat ALL the carbs. I put on 2 stone last pregnancy and even being a marathon rubber has never sorted out my overhanging excess skin problem (which I think is caused from gaining weight). Don’t want to be a downer but honestly wish I knew this first time around then I wouldn’t have eaten so many Kinder Buenos!

CurryandSnuggle · 19/10/2021 18:50

*runner

Coffeepants · 19/10/2021 19:00

Similar situation, all family is abroad. My experience last time was poor, suffered through fail hormone drips to bring on contractions for 33 hours and ended up in c section anyway so if I am able I’ll go ELCS. But think it’s tricky to get them to agree based on request.

Coffeepants · 19/10/2021 19:02

I wonder if it is? I put on at least 3 stone with my twin pregnancy (stopped counting after that) but haven’t had this issue. May have helped that I then breastfed twins so was literally starving all the time but still lost weight while bf. That didn’t last obviously Grin

Clomid1 · 19/10/2021 19:03

@MrsNT is your epu still open my local one work 9-4 😅

AlbatrossSociety · 19/10/2021 19:04

Wow its been so busy on here!! Can't believe how many Hannah's there are! I'm 5+3 now and only symptom is sore boobs, I'm thinking the nausea may kick in just in time for my wedding on the 30th Hmm

Anyone who's on the Facebook group, what's it like? I feel like I'm struggling to keep up here and looks like there are hundreds in it so not sure if that would be a bit overwhelming!

Everything crossed that you get seen quickly @MrsNT and that everything is okay, will be thinking of you.

AlbatrossSociety · 19/10/2021 19:06

@Coffeepants when did you find our your last pregnancy was twins?? I keep having dreams about twins, I'm a bit worried that we will have them! My OH is a twin and lots of twins in his family but I've heard it goes through the mother?? Not sure I could cope with two Blush

HWka · 19/10/2021 19:07

Just been to the toilet and had almost like a really really faint light brown discharge. There was no blood or anything when I wiped- not sure what to think. The colour was so light in not even sure how to describe it. No pains or anything but I’m freaking out
