Hey I'm only 10dpo but just got a faint positive 2 days ago and has been getting darker so hoping this is real. I calculated and I'm due June 1/2nd.

Anyone else due the same time as me? Want to hang out and keep me company I know it's early days.

I think I may have an early scan at 9 weeks on the 30th oct as we're attending a family Halloween party so would be nice to announce then to everyone and not to have to make an excuse for turning down a drink. Has anyone had an 8 week scan? Is it a blob or can you make out bit of baby lol? I seem to be feeling sick in the morning until around 10ish then it comes back about 2ish. So the school run is fun! Not actually been sick yet just that queasy feeling! I have zero appetite and have lost about 5lb already! Not a bad thing as I'm overweight anyway! My last pregnancy I put on no weight at all. So actually meant I lost weight once baby was out lol! Hoping that's the same this time around! Xx

Lol!! Is it your first? I was like that with my first? This time round not so much, maybe because I'm pre-occupied with my son lol! Xx

When I roll over in the night, the breast pain wakes me up 😂 I've also noticed I've been getting dizzy the past couple of days
I'm glad you said about being dizzy! I thought there was something wrong with me! I felt so dizzy last night! Xx

I went for a scan at what I thought was 8 weeks, I was actually more like just under 7 weeks and I could still tell it looked like a baby, lovely heartbeat too 😊 it’s definitely worth doing!

@rathernotshare i have two teenage kids, I'm 39 and thought my baby making days were gone - it was such a shock! But we're happy about it. At the same time this is literally all I can think about. My mind can't focus on work I just keep thinking about a 7 week scan we have booked (I had some irregular spotting) I just want to see and hear that heartbeat then maybe I'll chill a bit 🤣 but I can't think about anything else so you're not alone!

For me the early scan would be about getting reassurance and trying to calm down a bit 😂..first time so Waiting till 12 weeks seems so far away

@caz198917 @Skinnymuffins yes it's our first, I think I'm just a bit panicked as we have zero baby experience between us and no family around to help! We spent so long TTC that we thought it might not happen and now that it is we are unprepared 😬

@caz198917 awww congratulations! I know I'm not doing it now but what I learnt from my first and applied to my second is savour every moment of your pregnancy and enjoy it. I loved being pregnant with my second. I tried to remember every bit of it as my first was a whirlwind of the unknown. As soon as I have my 7 week scan that's what I plan on doing ☺️

Anyone having spots of brown discharge when wiping sometimes and boob pain coming and going?

Yes me too, it’s awful. I was prone to constipation before being pregnant and now it feels like being back at uni where the stress really constipated me. I’m trying to up the fiber, plums and dates!

I’m only about 6 weeks and waiting for 12 weeks feels like forever. I go through moments of extreme anxiety and feeling like it’s going to be okay. I’m looking forward to our early scan ❤️

@AmICrazy36 Maybe call EPU and see if they can squeeze you in on monday L, which will hopefully put your mind at rest.

It might be nothing, I read about so many people spotting through their first trimester so hopefully completely normal and nothing to worry about.

@Skinnymuffins how long until your scan? We've booked one for 3 weeks today at 8 weeks so I'm hoping that will make me more excited and less scared!

@AmICrazy36 also my GP was only concerned about the bleeding when I said my cramps are getting more and more painful, so if you’re cramps aren’t bad and its just spotting then hopefully that’s okay.

How far along are you? Maybe book yourself in for an early scan privately (can be done from 6 weeks), just to reassure and confirm its going okay? In the meantime try your best to stay calm spotting can be completely normal.

Thank you girls, it’s not spotting as such if that makes sense, just every so often there is a tiny bit of brown. I’m just getting very paranoid but going to call epu and see what they say, the midwife said yesterday to call them due to last time but suppose to scared to call them too xx

@rathernotshare we had a scan last week due to how much I was spotting so I couldn't even determine my period dates as the spotting was constant, but I only measured 5 weeks so no heartbeat etc detected yet. So a week Tuesday I'm going in for another scan at 7 weeks to make sure all is OK. I'm lucky they've taken the spotting seriously but every day feels like such a long wait!

@Skinnymuffins it doesn't sound like long does it, but I know it feels it. I had 4 days of 'not sure if that's a second line or not' and it felt like forever! Fingers crossed for you everything is fine 🤞

@rathernotshare thanks! Oh 4 days of that I wouldn't have been able to sleep! I just keep reading this thread and how anxious everyone else is too but also thinking how lucky all these babies are to have so much love and care already! 🥰

Today I've been watching a few YouTubers talking about their first trimesters, quite comforting!

@TinyTickler did hospital/gp mention about referring you to endcronologist? Apparently gp is supposed to up dose by 25% immediately and midwife is to refer to endo
