Anyone on here have strong period pains in the run up to labour? It's so bad today 😖 I remain hopeful even though it's early...

@Justanothercyster a whopper 😂 I'm optimistic that DD was relatively small 🙈 I wouldn't liken mine to strong period pains but everyone is different. The feeling of pressure pushing down was really strong and I had S&D just before I started early labour 😬

@bez91 is S&D sick and diarrhoea? So not with it this morning 😅

Hello everyone! Just to let you know that baby James finally arrived (!) yesterday morning. Emergency C section after failure to progress with induction, but worth it, he’s gorgeous 😍

HUGE congratulations @Kate105 that's fantastic news James is here 🙌🏻🥳🥰

I had my reassurance scan this morning and after a missed miscarriage last year & then another miscarriage in may this third time it's looking very positive, a baby! Measuring dates as I expected, around 8+3 to 8+5 with a lovely strong heartbeat ❤️

Ive still got a big hematoma (blood clot) so can expect more bleeding and I have to continue to rest as much as possible but ive only had a few days spotting so far so I'm feeling sooooo lucky 🥰he couldn't see any cysts now either so thats great

I'm actually filling out my midwives notes in advance of booking appointment tomorrow 😬maybe I can talk about this pregnancy like it's real now 🤞🏻🤞🏻another hurdle down

@Minster2012 YES minster!! So so happy for you, I just knew this was your time 😘

I think I can officially purchase my ticket for the graduates bus now, taking a seat albeit still in disbelief but can't really argue with the little heart pumping away on screen, it's there and I've got to believe it's here to stay now. 💕
Gotta wait till I get some quiet time to scroll back through the bus catch up on where everyone's at, but hope you're all keeping well.

Honestly if we could all have good outcomes based on the energy everyone puts in these buses we’d have football teams of babies by now and nobody would have to suffer loss or disappointment!

So pleased to see both of your scans 🙌 it's such a shame that most of us can't simply enjoy early pregnancy because of how often losses happen. Glad to hear you have been filling out forms for your appointment @Minster2012 it will be nice to get that appointment in and then hopefully the next 4 weeks will pass by quickly so you can get your 12 week scan 🤞

@2020mission I'm just a couple of days behind @Minster2012, Im at 8+2 today. None of the others have made it past 6 weeks so think this one's our little fighter that's determined to be here 🥰

@Haiyaa football teams you are right we would!! And thank you all so much! @2020mission I'm actually excited about my appointment now have never had one before 🙌🏻(though the boxes on the form are VERY small for someone of my medical history🤣)

@DKDK123 whoooooopppp that's it, we have to truly believe that these are the ones, they are here at the minute, thriving so we can be happy with that as we are doing all we can! So we are basically the same dates!! 🥳🥳

Yes @DKDK123 I never got beyond 6 weeks with the chemicals either. I know miscarriages can happen anytime but the chemical chance is now gone - a lot of losses are down to chromosomes and end before 6 weeks. It's a great sign to reach 8 weeks and every day it's getting better and better.

Yesss @DKDK123 & @Minster2012 so glad we're all now "happy" enough to be on the grad bus 🚌 🌈🤰

Got my 12 week scan app through the post over the weekend, typically for the week we're away. Managed to rearrange and bring forward for next Friday when I'll be 11+6 and I think the scanxiety is kicking in already 🤦🏼‍♀️

@2020mission yep, on and off. Just had my MW apt and they didn't seem concerned, so just waiting still :) growth scan on Friday again.

@Haiyaa oh yeah it's definitely BH, they confirmed that at the hospital when she sent me in for monitoring a couple weeks ago. Such a pain!

We'll I just had my booking in appointment, face to face with the midwife who I was under last time but never met her so that was lovely. I was in there from 11 til 12.45, she was so apologetic when the vein in my arm blew ive now got a golf ball in my elbow crease 🙈

Bless her taking my medical history she was like 🤯🤯😳😳
I'm def going to consultant led but apparently that doesn't always mean here automatic extra scans. Due to the clotting issues I will also be on the fragmin injections for the whole pregnancy so I need to def use more areas of my body & the ice first 😩😬

She also said no penetration 😩😩& any sign of sickness I need to take the meds straight away as it's so dangerous for me

Now to speak to my endocrine team

@bez91 are you booked in at the Royal? And MW at QP?
