@justanothercyster thanks hun..sorry to hear you're struggling, how many weeks have you got left? I know they can refer you to a physio for the SPD xx

@Kirky658 I'm 35 weeks now, they've given me some strong painkillers to use sparingly. They did mention physio but said that by the time the apt came round I'd probably be having baby due to long wait times! However they did say if it didn't go after birth they'd still put me through for it.

@Justanothercyster that's annoying but I'd try and see the positive in the Braxton hicks that your body is preparing and hopefully you won't be going much beyond your due date and baby will come on time 🤞how bad is SPD? I hope I don't get it I'm struggling enough with the pinched nerve in my thigh don't think I could handle the pain/burning spreading further 😅

@Justanothercyster sorry to hear of all your ailments! I've got spd already @2020mission and I'm only 19 weeks! Started at about 14 and saw midwife at 16 and she referred me for physio. Still not heard anything yet but wearing a belt helps. God help me for the third trimester tho! 🤦🏾‍♀️

Aww no @becarefuloutthere that's early! Although the pinched nerve in my thigh kicked in at about 19 weeks too when the bump started to appear. I'm at 27 weeks now and it's got only slightly worse and I've avoided pain killers so far. Just switches between numb, itching, burning and sharp pain. My duvet just touching the thigh in bed is even unbearable at times 😅 almost 20 week scan time then? Hope you're doing ok otherwise!

@2020mission I'm hoping for earlier tbh! And spd just sucks, but not long hopefully.

@2020mission I know 🤦🏾‍♀️ I've defo filled out already and no longer look like I've just eaten a load of pasta for lunch 😂 eek yours sounds so bad, you poor thing! Yeah next week now, whoop! Well I've decided I'm taking mat leave at the end of next week, can't do it anymore! Literally in so much pain today 😭 feels like the worst period ever is about to start

I am 41 weeks today and thoroughly fed up! Did get a sweep today so desperately praying that something happens before induction next Tuesday... 🤞🏻 not a happy bunny!

Aw @Kate105 I can’t even imagine going to 41weeks that’s hardcore….Im emotional at 34weeks and know I won’t go past 38! It will all be worth it and it’s a matter of days now not weeks!!

Aww @Justanothercyster you're doing the right thing no point in struggling through. Hopefully your little one will come along soon once you've finished up.

My leg is getting worse. I feel almost all baby's movements on the right side of my belly so I'm sure that's why the nerve on my right thigh is compressed. If he could just shift over to the middle that would be great 😅 honestly the slightest touch on my thigh hurts. My husband was up for a pee last night and when getting back in the bed he pulled the duvet, it brushed my thigh and I yelped "oww!". He was so apologetic this morning 😆 totally not his fault though it's just super sensitive.

I'm only just reaching 28 weeks so still months to go for me. Good and bad as I'd love to meet him soon but also not prepared enough yet!

@Kate105 have sex tonight ! I had a sweep at 41 weeks and walked for 2 lots of 30 mins and had sex ag around 9pm and an hour later my contractions started 😅🤞🏼

Thanks ladies 💕 like you said, no point. Last night was horrendous after a full day at school, the contractions were SO painful I was actually crying. Felt like my back was going to break! I have been given dihydracodeine but I'm very reluctant to take it regularly as it knocks me out and I'm so paranoid about the effect it might have on baby? Dread to think about actual labour 😰
My HoD has been really nice too and said I can come in late and leave early after my last timetabled slot to minimise my time in school until then as well which is nice. Why I couldn't have had this weeks ago? No idea 🤷🏼‍♀️ but at least it's happening now 😂

@Kate105 I'm not surprised you're fed up! Come on baby, come now!
@lucyrp 's right though, make sure you O as well. My braxton hicks seem to get so much more intense and painful after sex with an O so I'm sure it'll help with actual labour!

@Kirky658 oh no :( endo sucks. Did you find the pregnancy masked it a lot?

@Thinkingandblinking I know how you feel 😂 I'm 35+4 and just so over it. A small part of me is praying this scan on Friday shows baby is still huge so I can have baby early... 🙄

Yeah, the sex thing isn't a goer. Literally nothing is shifting this baby. Havent even managed a single BH!

I'm very much out in the sticks @Justanothercyster so not really an option! Also 😳 at someone going near my feet... I can't remember the last time I was near my feet 😂😂😂

@Kate105 I'm mid wales and the nearest town as such to shop in is an hour away so very rural and i know a lady who does reflexology. You'd be surprised !

@Kate105 oh nooo! I was going to suggest dh does it but if you're not a fan haha. I LOVE a good good massage.
Well there's nothing else for it, you're going to have to wait til the moons out tonight and swing a dead chicken around your naked body to bring on labour, that's all I can think of now 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣
