No mention of bloods being redone , i thought about that but I think it would just make me more stressed like you said , yeah I think that’s great news for you x @Cheekymonkey3112

Cheekymonkey3112 · 07/08/2021 09:05

@Scottishgal941 do you still have pain? Just take it easy and rest❤ I'm sure everything will be perfect xxx

Carolinesturn · 07/08/2021 09:37
@ELM7 Thankyou that’s reassuring, there was a little fluid sac but nothing to be seen, they said “ you’re not out of the woods yet until we see the baby” so it’s all just really scary
That was not a reassuring thing for them to say, jeezo! They can be very unthinking.
I had bad cramps last night and today but easing off now. I've had cramps since day 1 (7dpo) so they arnt worrying me so much as just a normal thing for me now... still checking for blood though

Carolinesturn · 07/08/2021 09:38

@Cheekymonkey3112 how are your cramps? Are they still one sided? Out of curiosity is the egg implanted on the same side or can they not tell from a scan?

Scottishgal941 · 07/08/2021 09:45

@Cheekymonkey3112 hi, thanks for thinking of me , not really any pain today so that’s good, I haven’t had any bleeding or spotting so I’m hoping that’s a positive sign ? I just feel really defeated with everything, how are you getting on ?
@Carolinesturn no they weren’t very reassuring sadly , it’s going to be a long two weeks x

Jhodd · 07/08/2021 09:49

Morning ladies.
So I thought I was out this month - tested last Thursday bfn and thiught I started af.
I had a really light for me and continued spotting untill today so did a test yesterday and BFP!!
I went to the drs as I’m super worried about the bleeding and all he said was keep testing as it might be an early miscarriage.
But if I was negative before the bleeding started, and positive now whilst bleeding - that’s got to be positive right?
I’ve booked an early scan for next Sunday when il be 6 weeks apparently x

Laurenxx94 · 07/08/2021 10:00

@Carolinesturn I'm constantly wet and checking for blood every minute 😞 it's so annoying isn't it xx

@Scottishgal941 glad u have no bleeding or spotting think that's a big positive , when did u say your next scan is. I do think there's a high chance you will be ok 🤞❤️

Laurenxx94 · 07/08/2021 10:02

@Jhodd hey!
When was your AF originally due? Maybe phone doctors and get bloods done on Monday? I don't necessarily think spotting is a bad sign I had spotting 6dpo and really thought I was out this month but turns out I'm not 3 days later.

If it was implantation it takes 3 days or so to get a positive test so sounds about right xx

Cheekymonkey3112 · 07/08/2021 10:03

@Scottishgal941 yip, I'd definitely take it as a positive sign ❤ when I asked about the pain they said that's the side that couldve released the egg which is why it's tender. When they have been doing the transvaginal scans it has been quite sore on the side that I had pain but she said there was no cysts or anything. I'd definitely keep thinking positively❤

@carolinesturn no more pain thankfully ❤ I'm not sure if the egg has implanted on the same side, I haven't thought to ask. Although when they move Wanda lol to see it it isn't painful but when they move it towards the left side to check my ovaries thats when it becomes sore. I suffer really badly from constipation so could be my bowel 🤷‍♀️ god knows! As long as the wee babe is OK I can deal with it 💕 how are you?

@Jhodd hey hun!! Congratulations and welcome 💕 it sounds like it couldve been implantation bleeding you've had. Fingers crossed for you❤ xx

Cheekymonkey3112 · 07/08/2021 10:05

@laurenxx94 @carolinesturn I keep checking for blood constantly too, I'm always at the toilet not because I need a pee more but because I'm constantly wiping to check for blood. I'm going to bed friction burn from the toilet paper soon 😂😂😂😂

Cheekymonkey3112 · 07/08/2021 10:06

Get friction burn thats meant to say hahaha

Jhodd · 07/08/2021 10:07

@Laurenxx94 I seen the dr yesterday and they said they won’t do bloods or a scan untill at least 6 weeks.

I’ve just got to keep testing and hoping it stays positive.
I have booked a private scan for next Sunday x

Jhodd · 07/08/2021 10:08

@Cheekymonkey3112 I hope so! But it’s been about 8 days of bleeding and im not sure implantation bleeding lasts that long!

@Laurenxx94 sorry meant to say af was due Sunday last week but I came on early on the Thursday which is unusual x

Carolinesturn · 07/08/2021 10:22

@Jhodd maybe knowing my spotting journey might help. I had brown spotting and cramps which started 7dpo and a proper streak of bright red blood 10dpo, I hadn't tested and I was in despair as I thought I had low progesterone and it was AF come early, the blood was only one wipe and straight back to brown spotting, cramps remained. I got my BFP on 12/13 dpo, a strong dye stealer on a FRER. I literally spotted until 17dpo, I phoned the midwife and she said very matter of fact my that I shoul retest in two weeks to see if I'm still pregnant so I didn't hold much hope however I'm now 24dpo and I got another positive yesterday on a cheapy and it's a slight dye stealer. Spotting has been gone for a week now so I'm feeling much happier about things :) hope this helps

Jhodd · 07/08/2021 10:26

@Carolinesturn this is positive news thanks for sharing.
Yes I’ve been told the same to just keep testing but I can’t help thinking th worst when I’ve been bleeding for 10 days now. Even though it’s positive.
Just want to fast forward to next Sunday’s scan 🥺

Laurenxx94 · 07/08/2021 10:45

@Cheekymonkey3112 I'm the exact same 😂😂😂 constantly wiping to see 😫 wish this worry would go away!

@Jhodd definitely sounds like implantation to me. How long did your spotting last are u still bleeding just now ? Yeah a scan is probably your best option got my fingers crossed for you 🤞 need to keep us updated !

Carolinesturn · 07/08/2021 10:56

If you've been bleeding for 10 days and still getting positives that must be your normal @Jhodd

Jhodd · 07/08/2021 11:24

@Laurenxx94 so 9 days so far re bleeding/spotting!
First 4 days were just like a light period, now it’s just everytime I wipe its red blood.
Thank you. I feel so anxious.

@Carolinesturn I hope it’s my normal. I can’t help but have a heavy heart though. My husband is so excited, and it breaks my heart everytime I go to the bathroom and see blood. I’m so scared.
Our baby is so, so wanted. Just want reassurance. The wait is torture x

Cheekymonkey3112 · 07/08/2021 12:51

@Laurenxx94 when I was pregnant with DS my mum said to me the worry you have won't go away, you always worry it will just move onto something else and it's sooo true!! Xx

Motherofkittens28 · 07/08/2021 14:19

After feeling a bit more crampy and worrying yesterday evening my tests today showed HCG has more than doubled again, big relief! They said they'd probably so a scan at 5 and a half weeks to check position, I'm 5 weeks tomorrow so not too long to wait. They said they wouldn't expect to see a heart beat at that point so hopefully that will stop me from worrying! I'm a bag of nerves and feeling really wet at the moment so like others keep having to check and make sure it's all OK!

Laurenxx94 · 07/08/2021 14:49

@Cheekymonkey3112 same lol how u feeling today?
@Motherofkittens28 that's amazing news so glad your hcg has doubled must be reassuring ! Good luck with your scan I'm also feeling very wet today lol cxx

Jhodd · 07/08/2021 15:03

@Motherofkittens28 May I ask how you got your blood tests to check your hcg levels?
Was it through the drs? As they didn’t even suggest it to me yesterday?
I’m in England if that makes a difference?! x

Summervibes040 · 07/08/2021 15:47

@Scottishgal941 @Carolinesturn hey ladies. Same thing happened to me yesterday. I went for a follow up scan and the sac was empty so i should have been 7 weeks but nothing has grown from my last scan 2 weeks ago and no heart beat or anything apart from a small yolk sac. I'm having a delayed MC so have to explore options about my treatment. Good luck to you all and congratulations to all the new users . Hope my time will be soon.

Motherofkittens28 · 07/08/2021 16:35

@Summervibes040 so very very sad to hear this. Sending you a massive hug.

@jhodd I was about to start a third round of ivf with a new clinic when I got pregnant naturally. This includes does a huge amount of monitoring and they offered to monitor my pregnancy as if I'd achieved it through ivf with them. I decided to pay for it as its way less than the ivf would have been and I thought it would set my mind at rest. They have the best ivf success rates in the country so I feel I'm in safe hands. You can pay for private hcg tests all over the place but its about £90 a test so it's not cheap.
