Hey,
Anyone else out there due April 2022.
I got my BFP at 10DPO yesterday. I already have a 6 month old daughter and it's my 4th pregnancy 🌈❤️

@Boredinthehouse12 not many symptoms for me, sore, heavy boobs and today started feeling breathless, apparently that can be due to progesterone. I'm having bloods done every other day at the moment as my ivf clinic agreed to keep monitoring me even though I fell naturally so I'm hoping for a good rise tomorrow.

Just wondering what people's views are about the vaccine? I've had one jab and was due my second the day I got my positive, so I cancelled. Not really sure what to do now

@Motherofkittens28 I got my second one last Friday, felt like crap ever since and started cramping and spotting today. Whether it’s coincidental I don’t know but if I could turn back time I would.

Hi, can I join? I got my BFP on Saturday and am now 13 dpo. It is my first pregnancy and I am an old bird, 42, so although I am very excited I am also very cautious.
Symptoms so far are sore boobs and a dull ache round my uterus. Also very sensitive to smells!!
Any recommendations for books or websites as I want to read up on what to expect as this is all new to me

I'd love to join too! I am 4 weeks today and due 13/04 which is my best friends birthday.
Had an early loss last month at 4+5 so am pretty anxious. Have an early scan booked at 8 weeks on the first September, fingers crossed all is ok!
This is baby no2 for me, DS is 11 months!

My EDD is 2nd April and I'm slowly trying to accept that I am and will stay pregnant, but my 8 week scan is on the 24th and that still feels ages away!

@Motherofkittens28 I had mine a couple of days after my BFP. I just read up on it loads and decided that the risk was higher not having it so it went for it. At the vaccination centre they did say I could wait until after 12 weeks but cases were still on the rise at the time so I didn't want to risk it.
I haven't had any side effects other than a sore arm.

They suggested speaking to a GP, but I'd already made my mind up, but maybe it's worth speaking to yours, or a midwife to get more info?

@rosiej95 is the 8 week scan with the nhs or have you booked privately?

Got my first midwife appointment through today! September 6th ❤️🤞🏻 I'll be 10+2 all being well ❤️🤞🏻

Thanks @Toffeesquares @Lalala1985 I think im going to wait until I see a midwife, I'll be 8 weeks then. I couldn't bear for something to happen after 2 years of ttc and all the heartache of the ivf failures. I'm trying to stay positive that this must be our baby as its such a miracle to get pregnant right after our wedding. I'm 39 and this is my first so I know I'm higher risk anyway.

Just got my BFP last night and a stronger line this morning… this will be our 5th baby. So very much planned, however as soon as my husband found out I am pregnant he has ignored me 😏

How they'll take my blood pressure etc I don't know

I self referred yesterday and they've already sent first scan too

V exciting isn't it! Not sure when my first NHS scan is yet but I have a private scan booked for Thursday.. I'll be 6+5 so have been umming and ahhing about whether to push it back a week to 7+ but I'm desperate for some reassurance 🙈

I booked a private scan for 21st and I'll be 7+5. I dropped a urine sample to doc on Mon and still haven't heard back. Will call tomorrow. Not sure if they're due to call back or will just send a letter reg scan/ appointment?

@Lalala1985 it's good to hear you haven't had any side effects from the vaccine, was it your second dose? @Motherofkittens28 I'm also trying to work out whether to have my second vaccine now or wait, I keep flip flopping! Also huge congrats on your bfp after such a long wait 🙂

@Boredinthehouse12 my main symptom at the moment is being able to sleep for hours and hours - I'm normally an early bird but not any more! How are you doing?

Good hcg rise today but progesterone has dropped so I have to start progesterone support tonight, hopefully that will fix it!

I had my second Pfizer dose yesterday (at 5w6d)and have had no side effects other than tender arm

Thing I'm most looking forward to in pregnancy: pregnancy pillows! Anyone else?

@Carolinesturn thank you so much; I really appreciate you sending your thoughts my way. Scan went well, we seen a 2.8mm fetal pole with heart activity 😍. Going back in 3 weeks for another scan but I've also booked a private one for next Saturday too. 🤞 praying it grows ❤ xx

Definitely joining the backache club I think!
Varies from lower back to quite high up and it's a strange ache, not like the general backache I get from work / am used to... can't quite describe it but it's definitely different!!

I’ve got an appointment with the midwife 1st September but it’s telephone only,
When do we normally get a date for our first scans ? Do midwifes just send a letter out? Haven’t heard anything about that
