Hi everyone!

I've finally created the FB group - it's called:

'Jan Adventures' and the cover photo is a pic of the sea. Hopefully you'll be able to find it!

@expectinglittlebear so pleased to hear that you are starting to get your energies back! Although the ear infection is not nice...but glad that you could get something to ease the pain!

I think I will call the midwife tomorrow or wednesday if I don't get the letter for the 20 wk scan... I will be on holiday for a while so I might miss the letter or the appointment if I don't do that! 😅

I did get my results in the post today and all low risk. I got my appointment for my 20 week scan the day after my 12 week scan, @EsseKey might be worth chasing it up.

Does anyone know if partners go to the 16 week midwife appointment?

@Alle1991 thanks, I will chase then! I have always received the letters very soon (even when I had to change the appointment last minute) so yeah this is a bit odd.
I have finally found the group, I had to scroll down quite a lot!

@Alle1991 At my hospital partners can go to all antenatal appointments but I know this isn’t necessarily true elsewhere so you will have to check with your midwife.

I've just tried finding it through my husband's FB account and as long as you select 'groups' along the top bar you should be able to find it. It's one of the first ones on the list.

@Alle1991 I couldn't find it also, but then I went to groups and searched there, then needed to scroll all to the bottom. Strange that its not showing the closest results.

I haven't asked my midwife about bringing in my partner, but my appointment is during work anyway, so he wouldnt be paid for that time off unless it's the scan. Ask your midwife

@Alle1991 Good to hear all come back as low risk! My DH isn't coming with me to my 16wk appointment. I believe it is just going over booking test results, a few measurements etc, so no need for partner to be there as far as I know!

Please can I join?! First baby due 23rd of January and so excited♥️

@happysam if I join the group it comes up to all my friends does it? That's why the name is vague etc?

We had the official nhs scan and bloods today (12+6 so due 1st Feb but I like it here and you can’t make me move threads )

Baby was upside down but sonographer was able to get everything she needed, she just said it’s a shame for the photo. So I had a wriggle and walk but baby literally turned it’s back to us! So lovely view of the spine and I like the fun story so not overly fussed my scan pic isn’t super clear because it was cropped and rotated.

So strange compared to others but I got booked in for my 20 week scan there and then! Just need to wait on bloods now, but the measurements were normal.

@Jonesy88 mine was the same 😂🙈 nice view of the spine/back of head. That kinda thing doesn't bother me though, once there's a healthy heartbeat & all is well I'm not bothered about pics....they all look pretty similar anyway those scan pics! 😂

👋 hello! Had my 12 week scan on Monday which moved my date forward a bit. I’m due 21st jan. got blood results back low risk for everything. I was very worried as I’m 39 😬

That’s great news @Onehotmess hopefully a weight off your mind. Very reliving time get those low risk results. Still won’t stop us worrying at every stage I’m sure.

@Trinacham that’s the same for me. 12 wk scan was actually nearer 14 was but 20 wk scan booked for bang on 20 x

It did with mine and I’m glad because my partner was able to book the time off work whereas i was called the day before for my 12 week scan and he was away!

I’m having some different movements in my stomach. I think possibly womb stretching as it says. Has me nervous all over again though. Very slight cramps and feel a bit sick and it all just makes me nervous 😬 the 20 week scan can’t come soon enough (but is ages away in September!)
