@jade0881 I know you've probably tried every option but is bunkbeds in your oldest daughters bedroom no good? We used to live in a lovely 2 bed, very cosy and kids don't think or remember lack of space.....my husbands grandad used to share a bedroom and bed with 4 of his sisters before he escaped to the navy lol was the norm back then 😊 x

Curlymam88 · 25/07/2021 22:01

@jade0881 I bet you're feeling a bit like you can't win. Either too hot or flooding with rain. That's mad.
It does sound a bit of a squeeze, I hope you can manage to move. We have only just before Xmas moved here.

Curlymam88 · 25/07/2021 22:02

@lovebeingmum9 same as my mother. Se shared a bedroom with 3 siblings back in the day.

jade0881 · 25/07/2021 22:19

@lovebeingmum9 funny enough we tried that(wasted money) and the bunk bed didn't fit in there. My eldest daughter bedroom is like a box.all she has in there is her bed a a chest of drawers. We have tried to change living room into a bedroom but was refused that by landlord. So it's never ending.

@Curlymam88 well the only way I can move right now as quickly as possible is to private rent but I don't wanna go down that route again because it was such a hassle last time. We moved like 7 maybe more times. Council won't help me until baby is here so they can see a birth certificate. (How things have changed).
I've been on mutual exchange, home swapper and the bidding process for the past 8 years with no luck

lovebeingmum9 · 26/07/2021 06:29

@jade0881 ah thats a shame it didn't fit.....I've seen friends who have triple bunkbeds to save floor space and even custom built beds to fit a small or awkward space! Hope you get something sorted Xx

LAR96 · 26/07/2021 14:40

Hey everyone!

Hope your all okay?

19 weeks today and feeling very moody Haha! x

Curlymam88 · 26/07/2021 16:48

Hello @LAR96 I'm 19 weeks Wednesday. I'm not feeling too bad today thank you.
Are you feeling moody for any particular reason or is it the hormones? I have days like this and I end up shopping online for baby which I find helps Grin

LAR96 · 26/07/2021 16:58

@Curlymam88
I think I have reasons although Its not really bothering me hahah!

I have a lodger (partners friend) , don't know how long for as he has left his home. He is lovely though and isn't any bother!

Didn't get much sleep last night as 3 year old step son kept waking up as he was having nightmares. :D

jade0881 · 26/07/2021 17:05

@LAR96 hey girl,
I'm 18+2 today.. and yes I feel exactly how u feel although not every day. Feeling really tired today.
I'm trying to decluter my flat so that probs why I'm feeling the way I am. Hope all is well

OP posts:
jade0881 · 26/07/2021 17:06

@LAR96 maybe it's hormones lol. Having some around(lodger) is t easy especially when you want to relax.
Aww I hope your step son is ok now. Bless him

LouLou0505 · 26/07/2021 17:49

@LAR96 - you let those moods come out!

Doesn’t anyone ever suffer with anxiety? I don’t know if it’s because it’s our first baby but with the fact im still so small and not sure that I’m feeling him moving or anything and I no longer have any symptoms, I feel so anxious.

I found out my friend who was due the same time as me had her 12week scan and there was no heartbeat and it’s just hit me so hard.

I want to stay so chilled so it goes through to him but in the run up to the scan I feel so on edge.

My family just tell me to chill and stop thinking about it but funnily enough that doesn’t help 😂

Curlymam88 · 26/07/2021 18:19

@LAR96 ah that must be difficult having a lodger about though. I know how you feel with the not sleeping. I've still got insomnia. Wondering will it ever get better or if I'll be like this till baby is born but even then I'll be having sleepless nights.
I hope you're doing ok and can manage to lift your spirits a bit Cake
@LouLou0505 I've had to stop reading certain boards on here as hearing about other peoples sad news made me feel even more anxious about my baby on top.of the anxiety I had anyway. So sorry to hear about your friend. I've been there myself only just in December where we had bad news at our 12 week scan, hence the anxiety I have with this baby. It really is heart breaking. How far are you now? Are you due a scan soon? I bought a doppler to hear babys heartbeat cheap off ebay which gives me reassurance if ypu think that might help you?

jade0881 · 26/07/2021 18:23

@LouLou0505 aww hun I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I can't say I have suffered anxiety but there are times I'm like"I haven't felt him move" but then he does. But this isn't my first pregnancy. As this is your first movement is very limited. They say women who are pregnant first time round tend to feel movement around 20 weeks.
You will be fine hun. Just try to relax. You will start to understand your sons movements soon. When is your next scan!? Xx

jade0881 · 26/07/2021 18:26

@Curlymam88 I can't relate to the insomnia but oh my is the constipation terrible this pregnancy. I really can't deal with it. This pregnancy is so different to when I was pregnant with my daughters. I hope it goes away soon. 🤦🏽‍♀️

LouLou0505 · 26/07/2021 18:35

Thanks ladies!

@Curlymam88 - god I’m so sorry you went through that!! I also don’t look at anything else on here other than our chat because I get sucked into everything.

I haven’t bought one because everyone told me not too and then I was told with having an anterior placenta I’m likely to pick up the sound from that?

@jade0881 - Our 20 week scan is next Wednesday and I’ve never wanted to wish time away so badly.

I honestly never thought I’d be this person which makes me sad because I just want to enjoy it because I know how lucky I am!

My mum says to enjoy it feeling him because in a few months once he’s thrashing around I’ll want him to calm down 😂😂

jade0881 · 26/07/2021 18:42

@LouLou0505 believe me hun I understand how u are feeling. But try and relax. You have your scan soon so that should give you some reassurance. Your mum is right about that. Lol 🤨😂

OP posts:
Curlymam88 · 26/07/2021 18:43

@jade0881 have you tried some orange juice? That usually helps me.
@LouLou0505 thank you, it was a shock at the time but we got through it. Im not too sure in regards to the anterior placenta. But not long now and you'll see your baby again. I'm sure everything is fine. Like @jade0881 says first time mams usually feel baby later on. Smile

jade0881 · 26/07/2021 19:13

@Curlymam88 hun I've tried Everything other then prunes.. I'm sure it will go soon. It might even be the vitamins I'm taking

LouLou0505 · 26/07/2021 19:14

Honestly thank you so much! Sometimes you just need to talk to someone who is actually going through pregnancy to make you feel better! My boyfriend is great but he looks at me like I’m mad 😂

I know I can’t be an anxious mum because if he’s anything like his mum and dad he’s going to be a handful 😂 karma is going to get us 😂😂

jade0881 · 26/07/2021 19:35

@LouLou0505 don't worry about it hun we are always here to talk and support. There will be things that you may feel worried about especially of this is your first child.

Hi all 😊
I'm 19wks +3 and got my 20wk scan next week...super excited! Also after 10 days of isolation we can finally go out as a family from tomorrow!
@jade0881 decluttering and cleaning tire me out lately, I get a quick burst of energy where I get as much done as I can then the energy runs out! Constipation can be horrible so hope something works for you!
@LAR96 Lack of sleep didn't help I bet! hope your step son (and you) get a better night's sleep tonight 🤞
@Curlymam88 got to love retail therapy lol did you get any bargains?
@LouLou0505 I'm sorry to be the bearer of this news but I'm afraid the anxiety is here to stay 😓 there's always something to worry about when you have children, just as you get over 1 anxiety there is always another one waiting! (if your a worrier like me anyway lol)
I'm suffering with a bit of heartburn they say you have a hairy headed baby but I've had it previously and all our children were born practically bald haha I'm looking forward to the scan to check over baby and find out thats he's a boy for sure then I'm going to buy some nice bits but its hard as got to wait for the winter clothing! Got a cute blanket with bunny comforter (in pic) this is how we announced our pregnancy to our kids, family and friends ❤
