Congrats @Nibletmum

ImpatientTTCer · 11/06/2021 23:25

Welcome @Nibletmum !

@MgW1 how are you feeling about things now, after your day of tests?

MgW1 · 12/06/2021 07:31

@ImpatientTTCer
Im thinking that its looking positive , i dont think my levels would so quickly get up to where they are if things werent progressing 🤞🏻🙏 just hard when you have had so many mc's to be positive ! X

ImpatientTTCer · 12/06/2021 08:43

@MgW1 you’ve been through so much, I can imagine it’s very hard to try and be positive about it. I hope so desperately for you that this time is the time ❤️

MgW1 · 12/06/2021 09:11

@ImpatientTTCer
Ah thank you ❤ il update you after next blood results. Im sure I have been told in previous pregnancies i have tilted uterus so dont know if thats effects early scans x

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 12/06/2021 09:53

@MgW1 I have a retroverted uterus too, and I think it does make it harder to see when things are so small

M4v3r1ck · 12/06/2021 13:13

@MgW1 so much 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for your blood tests!

Welcome and congratulations @Nibletmum 😍

Had my early reassurance scan this morning and it went amazing! 😍😍😍 Lot of movement and heartbeat, and turns out I'm 11+1 and not 10+1 weeks?!?! 🤯🤯🤯 Even with all our apps and tracking etc, we're still out?!

I'm still utterly in shock and hoping/praying everything continues to progress well! 😃🤞🏻 I think I'll never fully relax until I have a healthy baby in my arms! I've got my midwife appointment on Monday, so I'll need to ask that my NHS scan and screenings be brought forward!

@M4v3r1ck
Oh wow that is amazing news !!! Such a happy sight when she see lots of movement 😍
How are you in yourself ? Have you had much in terms of sickness ? Im a lot earlier on and have had some bad headaches and usual sore boobs and fatigue x

ImpatientTTCer · 12/06/2021 14:13

@M4v3r1ck how exciting!!!! Amazing! You must be so chuffed. 🎉

(And yes, how on earth are we out with ovulation dates when we’re tracking every single thing our body does? 😂)

Noodella18 · 12/06/2021 19:54

@M4v3r1ck great news, so pleased for you! Re the dates, I'd personally take that with a pinch of salt - if you were tracking lh levels and bbt it's unlikely you've got your ovulation date wrong. My friend had the same with an early scan but the NHS one put her back at the number of weeks she thought she was.

MgW1 · 12/06/2021 20:45

I have a rescan on monday now at the epu with sonographer, i hope they find something!

ImpatientTTCer · 12/06/2021 21:01

@MgW1 🤞🤞🤞

M4v3r1ck · 13/06/2021 11:18

@MgW1 so much 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you! Mainly nausea, fatigue, bloating for me!

Thanks, ladies! @Noodella18 that's really good to know and I think you're right, cos the dates just don't make sense! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Will let you all know what the midwife says tomorrow! 😃

How's everyone else doing and feeling?

ImpatientTTCer · 14/06/2021 05:20

@M4v3r1ck good luck for your midwife appointment!!

I’m feeling 🤢🥴😭🥵🤢…so so sick, all the time, and when I’m not feeling sick I’m craving McDonalds and worrying that I’ve stopped feeling sick 🙄 😂

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2021 07:00

@M4v3r1ck so pleased the early scan went well! Lovely news!

@ImpatientTTCer that doesn't sound fun! When did the sickness kick in?

ImpatientTTCer · 14/06/2021 09:11

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 it started gently and intermittently at about 4-5 weeks but hit full force at 6 weeks. I’m not entirely sure what my dates are but I think nearly 7 weeks if not already. Have you experienced any nausea?

I’ve gone off everything I’d usually love (tea, chocolate, pasta) and keep getting random cravings….then once I’ve had the food I was craving I’ll go off it before I’ve even had the leftovers the next day 😂

I’ve also just discovered that ham/pre cooked meat sandwiches and pre-packed salads are off the menu because of the listeria risk…..what on earth am I supposed to buy from Sainsbury’s for lunch?! Woe is me 😂 Sorry for the whinge, I’m feeling completely sorry for myself and just want to whinge and cry and laugh at it all!

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2021 09:31

@ImpatientTTCer oh wow so for quite some time! Sorry about the lack of lunch options! When you're feeling off food and there are only a few things you fancy, it's annoying not to be able to eat them. Are there any fresh places you can get food from? How's baked potato with cheese sit? For me I'm loving noodles and pasta atm.

No sickness whatsoever yet, I'm just about six weeks

Noodella18 · 14/06/2021 10:05

@ImpatientTTCer sounds like textbook morning sickness! So weird how in the morning you can only think of one thing for lunch that doesn't revolt you and by lunchtime it's something totally different. Mine has been coming in waves and totally manageable at the moment, but I didn't have it properly til 6.5 weeks last time so I'm kind of dreading next weekend. Experiment with lots of things to try to help it! I found lying on a cold floor or slumping in a hot shower would help, my mate sniffed fresh mint leaves. And try not to punch the many many people who will tell you that ginger is scientifically proven to help (it didn't help me at all and now I can't stand the stuff because of how hard I tried to get it to work.)

Noodella18 · 14/06/2021 10:06

@MgW1 thinking of you today, fingers crossed your scan goes well x

MgW1 · 14/06/2021 10:23

@Noodella18
Im sooo anxious!!! Thank you x

ImpatientTTCer · 14/06/2021 12:51

@MgW1 good luck!!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 enjoy it while you can! Honestly! Eat aaaaaaaaaall the food…

@Noodella18 it’s funny you should say that, I bought a ready meal on my way to work and now as it approaches lunchtime I can’t stand the idea of eating it.

Ginger nuts were suggested to me last week and have helped up to a point, but ginger sweets haven’t and neither has ginger tea. I suspect the biscuits have only helped because they’re carbs!

We have a canteen at work which sells lots of greasy food but also a salad bar which is now off limits to me…..Even the pasta bar is swimming in oil! I’m actually going to be living off the surprisingly non-greasy chips for the foreseeable future, aren’t I 🙄

How is everyone else coping with the heat?

MgW1 · 14/06/2021 12:52

Hello ladies
My hcg has more than doubled just short of 6000 and they saw yolk and sac. Few days early for a heartbeat. may have another scan in 3 weeks., they offered me it but seriously the waiting at the hospital is ridiculous. 2 hours 😳 xx

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2021 13:06

@MgW1 so pleased for you!! Must have been so nice to see!

Haha yep I was in there for three hours both times last week, I'm booking an early private scan so I can be in and out in 40 mins 😂

ImpatientTTCer · 14/06/2021 13:19

@MgW1 fantastic news!!!

Also…private scan was more like in and out in 20 minutes 😂

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2021 13:43

Haha oh really, even better!!
