@MgW1 I agree with @lennyunexpected - sounds as though everything is moving in the right direction! Something must be happening, it’s probably just a bit small to be seen on a scan yet xx

What did they say re next steps? How are you feeling?

I dont really know , I thought I was about 5 weeks 4 days so thought they might see a sac but nothing. Pregnancy test was positive x

@MgW1 are you certain of the ovulation date? You might be a couple of days out and at this stage it could be the difference between seeing something and not!

I had positive opk on 15th may x

@MgW1 so if they say ovulation can happen 12-36 hours after a positive test, you could still be early 5w rather than closer to 6w, in which case it would be unlikely to show up on a scan?

I had 3 days of positive OPKs and went with the day after the last one as ovulation, but maybe it was the first one and I’m actually a few days further along than I thought! The sonographer said it was too early for the machine to date it, so I suppose it’s just a matter of waiting to see what happens. Not something I’m good at!

@VixFromThe6ix vent away! That's why we're here - we understand and we get it! It's a tough road! 😘 I have moments of fear/panic, and I just try to work through them as best as I can! I try to breathe and focus on the fact that I am blessed to pregnant again pretty quickly! Just do whatever works for you, but remember all these feelings are natural and we're here with you on this! 😘

@Noodella18 you didn't, lovely, don't worry! Although it's crap, I'm so glad this stuff is getting more awareness! I'd actually feel worse if I thought I was weird anomaly that this happened to! Hope your friend is doing as best as she can be!

@MgW1 did you have an ultrasound with a technician or a doctor? What did they say about the results? You must have been a ball of nerves, an is understandable. Blood test should help determine where you are in your pregnancy hopefully all good news. 🤞💕

Hi It was with the doctor so i dont know what to think, will see what happens with the blood test xx

@MgW1 hopefully the blood test should shed some light because if it's under 2000 they can't always see the sac. A couple days later can male all the difference 🤞

@MgW1 yep I had two. The first one was around 1500, so they should have been able to see something on the scan but couldn't. The second test 2 days later was almost 4000 and they saw a sac and a yolk then. Was really quite worried after the 1st test and scan tho

@MgW1 sorry my first result was actually 1771 so they definitely should have been able to see something, she was pretty concerned it would be ectopic. They can often (but not always) see it at hcg over 1000 on the particular transvaginal scanner she used.

So I have just spoken to my friend who said if I had the scan done at EPU they may have seen something, I saw doctor at recurrent mc clinic so we shall see. Do you have any symptoms now? X

@MgW1 Not really, tired and very thirsty, bloated/swollen stomach- that's about it.

When do you get your bloods back?

Judging by my date of either 5+4 or 5+5 i have had a hcg result of 2780 , is this good or bad or average? I dont have a clue x

@MgW1 from what I understood, that level was about average for 5 weeks. The range was 200 to 7340 from memory for five weeks. That's great news, what did they say about them?

She just said its a broad range and first test doesnt tell them much and to go back around same time on sunday for another test. Thing is if recurrent mc doc hadnt asked me over for a scan ... i wouldnt be worrying about this 😳🤷‍♀️🤪 if my levels have doubled I am going to wait for dating scan unless i think , i prefer not knowing!!! X

Hi, jumping on board 😊

I'm 39 and 6+3 with baby #3. Have a 6 and 4 year old. Feeling pretty ropey this time around - nausea has been much worse than the last 2 and my boobs feel like they're exploding! Trying hard not to worry about things as I'm older now. Thinking of having an early scan but then part of me thinks it's tempting fate and I should just wait until the 12 week one!

@MgW1 I find the testing so nerve wracking too, but I want to know, so I think I'll be going for another early scan. But maybe just getting obsessive /addicted 🙈
