Baby Alice was born at 1206pm via c section weighing 4lb 12oz. She has been struggling with her breathing so is on NICU but we are both doing fine. Xx

@Clairey844 OHs mum is ringing him and texting me most days asking for updates, I am really close to her and she means well bless her but I'm more fed up than they are at waiting so it's getting a bit much now 🥲

Aww @lucyrp I honestly have no idea why people do that because they must know you'll tell them as soon as it happens if they are close/family 🙄 I'm purposely trying not to tell people my exact due date for that reason 😅 it's 30th December but I'm saying early January! I'm sure it will happen anytime now though given you've passed where you got to with your boy.

@Kirky658 just saw that you would have been around 35 weeks on the other thread, wow I'm glad they caught it early and you're being looked after now!

Ladies I think @Kirky658 posts in the main TTC bus more than here lately so if you didn't see over there, she posted last night saying she had been admitted to hospital with pre-eclampsia and is 35 weeks so she is a couple of weeks early.

@2020mission I literally said to my mum that OH is so excited as soon as anything happens he'll be on FaceTime to her anyway so I don't know why she has to ask🥲 yeah I'm sure too it's just the not knowing! I don't have any plans for this week and keep making last minute ones but then worrying myself incase my waters go while out or whatever !

Thanks @2020mission I often forget about our bus as i don't get the emails from mumsnet! Yep so I had severe pre eclampsia, they tried to induce me, didn't woke, so got her out via c section today. She's doing so well in NICU hopefully be back with us tomorrow xxx

@Kirky658 Aww that would be fab to have her with you tomorrow 😃 it must be overwhelming right now with her suddenly here weeks early. Hope you're feeling ok after the C section and the pre-eclampsia. Take it easy!

@Kirky658 I can't believe she is here, it must have been a whirlwind day for you. My wee boy was in nicu and was back with us the next day. Hope baby Alice is back with you soon. Congratulations she is lovely.

I'm 30 weeks so 7 weeks to go until section unless her growth is huge at next growth scan may be earlier.

@Kirky658 aww glad you've got to harvest colostrum I wasn't sure when that would be ready. She looks so healthy despite all the wires if she didn't have those I'd have guessed so was born on schedule.

Ladies well I have to say the nub and skull theory is nonsense if you go by my scan as we're having a little boy 😅 so happy but my husband and me are in a bit of shock as we had convinced ourselves it was a girl and picked a girl name haha. Need to try and think of a boy name now! 💙

@2020mission ahh a boy 💙 so cute but yes I think I'll get a shock if mine comes out a boy as for some reason I feel it's a girl!

Our brave little girl was breathing on her own last night 😍 got some cuddles and fed her some colostrum it was an incredible feeling. Xx

Yeah @Justanothercyster I'd recommend trying not to get in your head it's either sex if you're not finding out just so you don't feel that shock we did 😆 my husband said he was looking forward to a mini version of me and wanted me to have a daughter but I've reminded him I don't mind whether it's a girl or boy. I think once he's here he'll be thrilled to have a little boy.
