@Justanothercyster no it was a growth scan, I had one at 34 weeks because I had 3 consecutive measurements showing a big bump and I'd had a negative diabetes test so went for one at 34 weeks and baby was measuring fine but at 36 weeks the measurement looked static to the previous one because of two different people measuring me so had to go again to check growth but all is well ☺️xx

Florence13 · 23/07/2021 09:30

@Justanothercyster yes I know! We are super close in dates. Sorry to hear about the acid I’ve not had any of that so far but still plenty of time yet.

@lucyrp aww glad all was well with your scan ☺️

Kirky658 · 23/07/2021 09:52

@lucyrp glad all is well with the scan and measurements πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

@florence13 plenty of time for bub to catch up yet if they're measuring a bit smaller, glad they're keeping an eye on you though.

Not much to report here except my little girl is clearly going it be a dancer as she never stops wriggling 🀣 DH sat watching my tummy and giggling last night it really made me smile x

Florence13 · 23/07/2021 12:52

@Kirky658 yes definitely I don’t feel small haha. Aww that’s lovely ☺️

Justanothercyster · 24/07/2021 09:01

@lucyrp ah I see, glad all went well.

@Florence13 luckily not so bad this morning so that's something! How have you been feeling?

@Kirky658 that's super cute πŸ’•

Anyone else toss and turn all night because of aches? πŸ˜‘

Kirky658 · 24/07/2021 09:09

@justanothercyster oh yes. Last 2 nights sleep hasn't been plentiful. I was awake to wee three times and then awake at 4am for an hour 😳

Florence13 · 24/07/2021 09:17

@Justanothercyster I’ve actually been feeling really good I almost feel a bit of a fraud because other than my bump I’ve been pretty normal.

Justanothercyster · 24/07/2021 10:58

@Kirky658 it's rubbish!

@Florence13 ah you're lucky! Everyone's different though. I feel yucky and big and clumsy haha.

I had my whooping cough jab yesterday, but they put a polio, rubella and diphtheria booster etc in it for me. Feeling hungover today😴

OP posts:
2020mission · 24/07/2021 11:22

@Justanothercyster yeah I read there isn't a single whooping cough vaccine and it will always be Boostrix which has those 4 in it. It's weird they always just call it a whooping cough vaccine when it's actually all 4. Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon!

Florence13 · 24/07/2021 12:26

@Justanothercyster oh bless you sorry to hear your vaccine has made you feel yucky mine did too. But I was fine again by the next day.

Kirky658 · 24/07/2021 12:47

@justanothercyster I felt the same after I'd had mine, like @2020mission says you have to have the Boostrix one which is the 4 in 1 one. But least you won't be at risk of tetanus 🀣 I felt better the next day, just rest up. Xx

2020mission · 24/07/2021 13:03

What symptoms did/have you had with that Boostrix jab? Just want to prepare myself for when I get mines πŸ˜… I was going to go out for a lunch somewhere after the vaccine and scan but it sounds like maybe I shouldn't make any plans?

Kirky658 · 24/07/2021 13:12

@2020mission very much like a hangover feeling and just tired really. Wasn't as bad as the covid jab. I guess your body already has the antibodies xx

2020mission · 24/07/2021 13:35

Ahh no fever then @Kirky658? That's all I'm really concerned about as I know fevers in pregnancy aren't good. Anything else I can put up with!

Kirky658 · 24/07/2021 15:16

@2020mission nope! Absolutely fine on that front. To be honest i just felt like a bit of a wimp! (and skived off work for the afternoon because i had the excuse lol) x

Justanothercyster · 24/07/2021 16:30

Thanks ladies, I'm ok really just very tired and achey. But I've managed a new forest walk today with it so @2020mission I wouldn't worry about your lunch πŸ˜‚ no fever either

OP posts:
2020mission · 24/07/2021 16:58

Glad you've managed to get out and have a walk @Justanothercyster has the weather cooled a bit down south? I'll definitely continue to make lunch plans πŸ‘ I have the next day off work anyway due to our flexible furlough still ongoing so will be able to chill out if needed.

Haiyaa · 24/07/2021 17:18

My arm ached like mad after my whooping cough vaccine, but I am a bit of a wimp πŸ˜‚

Justanothercyster · 25/07/2021 08:04

@2020mission it certainly has thank god! and we had a whopper of a thunderstorm night before last, even scared me a bit!

Hi everyone just checking in! Been away at a wedding this weekend which was so nice. Actually felt a bit normal! Looking forward to getting back into my own bed tonight though 😴

Sorry about the vaccine hangovers... mine was the same, worse than my COVID jab!

DJmum83 · 25/07/2021 22:30

Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't been on much been away on holiday. Was so nice to finally be away.
Had such a good time.

How is everybody doing? This heat is killing me. I'm 27 weeks today so 10 weeks to go.
Have a growth scan next week, my diabetes came back borderline so retesting next week.
Iron levels seem to be improving, still no word on results of my 24 hour ecg.
I'm definitely feeling a lot better than I did.

How are you all coping with the heat?
Not long for some of you now.
Xx

Kirky658 · 26/07/2021 06:59

@kate105 awww the wedding sounds lovely hun! Nice for a bit of normality.

@djmum83 glad you are feeling a bit better lovely. The heat has been vile. I'm so glad it cooled down a bit this weekend. I've got this week at work, next week off then my last week and I'm done woop woop! Did you go somewhere nice for your hols? xx

lucyrp · 26/07/2021 07:37

I turned full term today πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

Kate105 · 26/07/2021 07:52

Ahahaha @lucyrp exciting times! Hopefully not long to go!

lucyrp · 26/07/2021 07:54

@Kate105 I'm so anxious! I've been counting down to 38 weeks for so long because that's when DS was born and my midwife seems to think I'll be early again and now that's only a week away its scary! I've got a few things I need to do this week before they come so if they could wait until next week would be great but also need to start upping my game to try and get them to come πŸ™ˆ
