@Kirky658 @Thinkingandblinking I totally agree! I am also experiencing very low appetite, with increased nausea. The past 2 nights I couldn't sleep at all! Kept waking up at 1:30am 😓 the humus nights aren't helping either.

I had a bit of a anxiety attack yesterday and that anxiety didn't help my nausea or sleep either 😭😭

Justanothercyster · 04/07/2021 16:56

All good here, just counting down the days until school ends as I won't be on timetable from September 🥳 also trying not to spend a fortune on clothes but nothing I used to wear fits over bump 😭

@Kiwibabyjourney anxiety is the worst, hope you're taking it easy and manage to find something that helps distract you.

Not overly angry over here, no more than usual anyway 😂 just looking forward to holiday in Cornwall in august!

2 weeks to go! 🥳🙌🏻 just need to keep away from all children at all times because I am sure as hell not catching Covid from them now...!

Kirky658 · 04/07/2021 18:30

@justanothercyster @kate105 not long to go to end of the year ladies, you've got this! Can't wait till DH finishes on the 16th.

Nighttime insomnia here too - wake around 3am and struggle to get back to sleep, then can't get through the day without a nap. Man this pregnancy lark is hard work!

2020mission · 04/07/2021 18:38

@Justanothercyster I was thinking that's a negative of an autumn/winter due date...
if I was heavily pregnant in summer I could easily get by just wearing all my stretchy summer dresses and tops and not buy much if any maternity wear but I'm unlikely to get any jackets/coats closed over my bump later this year 😅 ohh how long will you have off over the school holidays? That's a good perk of working at a school! They've already stopped for summer here in Scotland.

Kirky658 · 04/07/2021 18:54

@2020mission I can't even zip up my waterproof jacket now over myself 🤣

@justanothercyster I'm hating having to buy more maternity clothes so trying to keep them as cheap as I can do. I've been on very and new look and George mostly. We've been invited to a wedding 7th August so need to buy a new maternity dress..

Justanothercyster · 04/07/2021 18:59

@2020mission we'll be finishing on the 21st at my school and starting back on the 2nd I think x

@Kirky658 such a pain isn't it! Have you heard of PatPat? Super cheap stuff on there, and everything I've bought so far has been decent x

OP posts:
Kirky658 · 04/07/2021 19:33

@justanothercyster not heard of that one will have to have a nosey!

Gem176 · 04/07/2021 19:54

@Justanothercyster what is the sizing like for patpat? Can't believe how cheap it is 😮 want some comfy nightshirts for after section that I won't care if they get bodily fluids on 😂

lucyrp · 04/07/2021 21:19

@Kirky658 I'm okay thanks, struggling though as I'm very uncomfortable sciatica took control of me this afternoon which was hard work whilst in work. Baby has definitely changed position too head feels down and feet in my ribs, OH said I am walking differently now like a duck waddle 🤣🙈 3 down 3 to go 🥲

lucyrp · 04/07/2021 21:20

On another note I got BIL to pick some shelves up for me for the nursery on his way down this weekend, another Facebook marketplace bargain. I'll attach a pic below. So lucky OH does stuff when I ask him 😁

Kirky658 · 04/07/2021 21:22

@lucyrp oh bless you hun, I guess try and rest at home as much as you can ❤️ how many days till you finish work now? For me I think baby is breech again, deffo feeling more kicks on my lower belly! Plenty of time for her to shift though.

lucyrp · 04/07/2021 21:39

@Kirky658 Definitely 🥰🥰 I have 16 working days left now, how many weeks are you ? 30?? Baby has definitely been in all sorts of positions up until now but I think they're head down at the moment as I feel a lot of pressure down there and feet in my ribs. I'm sure its a little back and bum against my stomach too 🥺

Kirky658 · 04/07/2021 22:18

@lucyrp awww not long, 25 days for me! Can't come quick enough. X

lucyrp · 04/07/2021 22:23

@Kirky658 at what week are you going on maternity ?? X

Kirky658 · 04/07/2021 22:25

@lucyrp finishing at 35 weeks, 2 and a half weeks hol then mat leave starts 2 weeks before baby is due. X

lucyrp · 05/07/2021 06:20

@Kirky658 omg what are you going to do with yourself for 5 weeks 🙈 I have 2 weeks annual leave booked from 38 weeks and my mat leave is due to start on my due date but I'm hoping baby comes at 38 weeks 🙈x

Kirky658 · 05/07/2021 06:34

@lucyrp haha believe me got loads to get done! Loads of bits round the house and just some time to relax to be honest, maybe see friends etc x

lucyrp · 05/07/2021 06:41

@Kirky658 see that's what I couldn't do, I work with both of my friends that I'd want to go out for dinner etc with so that's impossible 🙈 although one is leaving now a week before I go off and the other is only part time since having her son so might be able to squeeze something in. I have a week off next week and have all good intentions to clean the whole house but I know already it's not going to happen 🤣x

Justanothercyster · 05/07/2021 06:45

@Gem176 everything has fit perfectly, I usually order medium and am usually a 10/12.

@lucyrp aww that look so cute!

OP posts:
Kate105 · 05/07/2021 07:39

Omg @lucyrp very jealous... My OH is seemingly incapable of doing anything I ask him to because it has to be his idea... currently sitting among piles of his shit that he needs to sort through so we can clear out to make space for the nursery! 🙈

2020mission · 05/07/2021 17:40

Did any of you ladies (if you can remember this far back) have really bad headaches at around 14-15 weeks? I had a few migraines (vision loss, mild headache) from weeks 7-12 which wasn't a surprise as the hormones were surging at that point and I do get migraines outside of pregnancy a couple of times a year.

I've now moved to just throbbing headaches it's so sore to move around but tolerable when sitting still. I'm trying my hardest not to take paracetamol. I've had it for 2 days now. Just wondered if these are normal in the second trimester?

Thinkingandblinking · 05/07/2021 17:58

Scan all ok today! So hopefully now I can focus on the fact we are having a baby and stop worrying so much!

Kate105 · 05/07/2021 18:15

I definitely had a spate of bad headaches early in the second trimester @2020mission but couldn't tell you exactly when. They only lasted a couple of weeks though. Try upping your water intake, that eased it a bit for me.

Good news @Thinkingandblinking you'll be so blasé about the whole thing before you know it 😂

Kirky658 · 05/07/2021 18:31

@2020mission same as @kate105 for me I had horrible headaches which were mid second trimester if I remember rightly and the only thing that helped was extra water.

@thinkingandblinking yayyyy great stuff!
