@Missgoldilocks 32 weeks on Monday πŸ₯° haha I know the feeling it's only us few stragglers left at the end isn't it πŸ˜‚x

2020mission · 18/06/2021 11:36

@Missgoldilocks @lucyrp that's going to be me here πŸ˜† last one to have the baby unless we get some more newly pregnant ladies joining this thread soon!

Quick question ladies, I have no maternity notes or anything and was wondering how I'm going to get the results of the bloods/combined testing I had done yesterday. Am I likely to just be expecting a letter through the post? I don't know how your health boards are but it seems quite disorganised in Glasgow. Especially after having to sit in that waiting room yesterday for an hour and 45 mins just to get the bloods done πŸ™„

lucyrp · 18/06/2021 11:40

@2020mission if they're low risk you'll just get a letter through the post but if it's high risk they'll give you a phone call, that's how it worked with my trust x

Kirky658 · 18/06/2021 11:41

@missgoldilocks we certainly do, we are having a little girly 😍 pregnancy has been relatively uneventful so far (touch wood!) she's moving around a lot. See my midwife next on Monday again for my 28 week check and then I have the GTT on Wednesday to check for GD so that should be fun! Hopefully they can help you further with the spd as it sounds super unpleasant x

2020mission · 18/06/2021 11:48

Thanks @lucyrp hopefully if days pass next week without a call that means it's a letter then 🀞 I keep seeing people chatting on pregnancy message boards about some maternity notes app they have which seems to give access to blood results etc. Pretty annoying we don't have that!

lucyrp · 18/06/2021 11:51

@2020mission yeah I've seen ladies say that they have an app! I don't have that either don't worry. A lot of ladies had their scans etc booked immediately at their booking appointment but I had to wait for all of mine through the post x

Justanothercyster · 18/06/2021 12:55

@Missgoldilocks ah is that the same group I'm on on fb? L Barton and co? I'm 20 weeks tomorrow 😁 nice to hear from you!

@2020mission I got a letter :)

OP posts:
Missgoldilocks · 18/06/2021 16:09

@lucyrp yeah πŸ˜‚πŸ‘Œ last stragglers hahaha! I'm the next one to give birth too πŸ˜… x

@Kirky658 aww a girl how lovely! The GD is just annoying as you have to wait around for 2 hours early in the morning but the drink is kind of nice!! Haha I had to have two of those done annoyingly 😬 I don't have diabetes though. Glad pregnancy has been easy on you, my first son was a walk in the park! I have physio in 2 weeks time sooo just gotta get through these next 2 weeks x

@2020mission how far along are you? X

@Justanothercyster heyyyy haha yes I'm Ellie on there, remind me some how if you can who you are on thereπŸ€£πŸ˜… first name maybe hehe then I can put a face to you 😜 x

2020mission · 18/06/2021 16:49

@Missgoldilocks I'm only just passed 12 weeks. I had a link to that Facebook group you're all talking about but I think I'm way too far behind to join πŸ˜… especially if it's already all mums and babies. I had held off initially as I didn't want to join and leave like I didn't with one back in July when I had the loss. Can survive with MN as my support for now πŸ‘

Kate105 · 18/06/2021 17:23

I have an app! It's not bad. But they didn't update my bloods until after I'd had the letter through @2020mission so you'd be no further forward.

Justanothercyster · 18/06/2021 17:32

@Missgoldilocks ahh I thought so! I'm Natty :) I get what you mean about the baby group haha, but I have learnt soooo much too. I'm slightly terrified of all the stuff I could do wrong 😳

OP posts:
Kirky658 · 18/06/2021 18:12

@justanothercyster you're braver than me. I'm part of a September due group on here and that's bad enough for me... Some of them are already packing their bags at 28 weeks πŸ˜… we have our antenatal classes next month run by midwifes so hopeful that will help me to feel less useless...

2020mission · 18/06/2021 19:21

@Kirky658 ohh are antenatal classes running as normal in your area with partners allowed? I'm hoping we can go to some since it's our first and we are clueless too πŸ˜…

Kirky658 · 18/06/2021 19:50

@2020mission yeah luckily they've started doing them again socially distanced just last week 😁

Justanothercyster · 18/06/2021 20:17

@Kirky658 ooh I need some antenatal classes for sure. I bought a "no nonsense" what to expect book written by a woman who's brutally honest and doesn't mess around with all the useless things haha, that's about as much learning as we've done so far!

OP posts:
Kirky658 · 18/06/2021 20:46

@justanothercyster oooo what book is it lovely, we want to get something to read!

Missgoldilocks · 18/06/2021 20:48

@2020mission AHH okay, I'm sorry for your loss and I hope all goes well with this one ❀️❀️

@Justanothercyster yes! I've been reading the breastfeeding posts because it has been 9 years since I last done it it's good to have a refresh haha x

Justanothercyster · 20/06/2021 09:10

@Kirky658 it was this one: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/0007269447?psc=1&ref=ppxpopmobbasin_title
Really good, no nonsense and easy explanations.

@Missgoldilocks yes! The feeding is my main thing because although it is fairly simple you just want to make sure you're doing it enough and properl ha

It's crazy how bump grows without you even really noticing! This is 8,12,16 and 20 weeks 🀰🏾

Ohh @Justanothercyster those are great definitely seeing progress there! I keep thinking I've got a wee bump but every morning when I wake up my stomach is flat again so it's clearly always food bloat πŸ˜… as soon as I pop I'll need to start taking some snaps like those to see the progress πŸ‘

Missgoldilocks · 20/06/2021 11:20

@Justanothercyster awww lovely bump photos πŸ₯°πŸ₯° mines huge now and doing anything is difficult lol I wanted to enjoy the last week's but it's kind of difficult when you're in pain constantly 😭

SamoyedFan123 · 20/06/2021 11:25

Absolutely huge here now - this is from a week ago! 37 weeks now and so ready for this baby to be out! He's well over 9lb at this point according to scans 😳

Lovely bump progress photos @Justanothercyster 😍

lucyrp · 20/06/2021 13:07

This is my 32 week bump πŸ₯°

Clairey844 · 20/06/2021 21:04

Hey everyone,
Loving seeing the bump pics @SamoyedFan123 and @lucyrp.

@SamoyedFan123 I can't believe how big they're predicting baby to be already 😬😬

How are you doing @lucyrp

Nice to hear from you @Missgoldilocks, I'm 35 weeks Tuesday. The PGP sounds rough. I'm in the Facebook group too but like you say most have already had their babies.

Glad the scan went well @2020mission, sorry I'm rubbish at the gender guessing too but I'm gonna guess boy.

@Justanothercyster so nice to see your bump popping out!

All ok here, had mw on Friday and all was ok, growth scan end of this week them hoping to be discharged back to just midwife led care.
Pic of me last week at 34 weeks x

All your bumps look gorgeous ladies 😘
I won't post one as mine are always of me in my undies and no one needs to see that 🀣
